This weekend our gas water heater failed and I contacted a few other plumbing companies in addition to Catania and Son for a quote on replacement (along with recirculation and other piping). Two other companies quoted right around $8,000 (one offered a 5% veteran discount, and was still over $8,000). I was happily surprised when Catania & son provided a straight up price of $2,000. Jason is amazing! showed up with a mask & shoe covers. He replaced the pressure regulator valve in our master bath, because i noticed that our toilet tank doesn't fill up quickly (takes 30 mins to fill up) and there's no pressure on the bidet. When i told him the issue, he knows the problem right away, due to the mandatory fire sprinklers in newly built homes in Henderson, NV, this issue happens, and it's always in the master bath because the pressure regulator is located there under the sink. Just had Jerry and son, Catania & Son Plumbing, come out to take a look at a mysterious noise in our garbage disposal. Heard what sounded like metal-on-metal sound during an initial inspection. They thoroughly inspected the mechanism, tested the disposal again...and the noise was gone. After inspecting and testing it a third time, Jerry turns to me and says well, the noise is gone, and it seems to be working fine, so no charge. How often do you get that kind of service nowadays?!
