Compared to other jasmine milk teas I've had, the jasmine flavor was a bit overpowering which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. Amazing little gem ! I had a tough time spotting this place it I found it & it was worth it! I walked in & was greeted immediately with warm smiles & a big hello . This was my first time here so I asked for suggestions which they were happy to offer . I had the pork sandwich to go & stayed ' enjoyed the mango fest tea & the bulgi sandwich. The sandwich was made fresh , hot with a toasted bun . It was good!! Give this place a try they won't disappoint you . The shop is cute & the decor is nice . Conveniently in the same shopping center as the Dim Sum restaurant, we went over for a sweet treat after Sunday brunch. My husband had their signature milk tea which was really tasty. The boba was perfect texture and sweetness. I had the avocado smoothie which was pretty good given I opted for 50% sugar because I wanted to be a little healthier (ha). This is a delightful bubble tea place in Plaza Midwood. It is a very quaint, clean, and cute shop. As a first time visitor, the staff was very helpful in navigating me through their extensive tea menu. They have everything from traditional milk teas, iced teas, slushes, and smoothies. They also sell bahn mi sandwhiches, cheesecake, and other little snacks. I personally tried the taro smoothie and was very impressed. The flavor was great, and it did not taste chalky like many other places that sell bubble tea. Lastly, the price was very reasonable given the size of drink I received. Excellent Boba Tea and sandwiches! We had the Thai Tea with boba, honeydew with boba and strawberry smoothie along with the grilled pork bang mi and bulgogli banh mi. Thai tea had just amount of sweetness, honeydew was refreshing, and the strawberry smoothie was delightful. The boba had a perfect chewy consistency. They're great! I love the owners! One of the owners came up to me and my brother to ask the experience and how to better accommodate us. I believe that is wonderful customer service and hope dearly their business thrive. Onto the food, it was delicious. ALL of the teas are worth trying but the Himalayan Salt's are exquisite and add a dimension to the taste of your standard teas. Their Bahn Mí are good as well! I found another awesome spot for Banh Mi and tea. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was great. My only wish is that I would have eaten the sandwich right there rather than driving back to work and eat it. It lost some of it's crispness in the bread. There were so many items I did not try. We used to be fans of Crispy Banh Mi, which is a great spot, but this is better. Have been here twice now, and they always get it right. My husband enjoys the lemongrass chicken banh mi and I go for the grilled pork banh mi. We've had a few different boba tea drinks and they all been great. If you want to find one of the best banh mi sandwiches, look no further. This place has a top notch grilled pork sandwich. Was wondering why the lady in the back took about 7 mins to make it but when I took that first bite I knew she put some love in that sandwich. Bursted with flavor in which the grilled pork had that slight char and savory sauce that was perfectly coated on the pork. 5/5 if this was a sandwich shop because the baguette was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. 4/5 because the boba tea I got gave me diabetes. I always made the same order which was a large jasmine milk tea / no ice and every time which was fill to the brim except for the last time where it was basically half empty. With much confusion, I asked the manager about the drink and was told that it was their "standard".. I replied back that my past drinks was filled a lot more but manager is just RUDE! Wow! Just wow! This is probably the best and most authentic boba I have had in NC so far. Places like the one in the mall and in the University area near Billy's Boardwalk don't even compare! Everything on the menu is great. From the original milk tea with boba to mango or taro drinks. Stopped in here last sat after eating at Pho Hoa. I ordered their avocado smoothie w/boba, it was absolutely delishhh!!! My BFF ordered their passion fruit pleasure mason jar tea & loved her drink.
