This place had us hooked from the logo outside to the beautiful whimsical decor inside. We had a few cookies which were all delicious. The staff were all walking around, greeting and smiling to everyone who walked by. They had indoor and outdoor seating to pick from!

I came late in the day. 30 mins before close. Therefore, my experience was in itself unique. I got the triple pastry sampler which is Croissant only but it was late and there was a massive number of pastries left. In addition the Inkind app wasn't updated yet and the Toast App wasn't working. I have to come back for my points. However, let's focus on the food! I ordered the Martha Stewart's Triple Citrus Bundt Cake, Pistachio Chocolate Croissant, Mac & Cheese Croissant and an Iced Salted Tahini Honeycomb Latte to-go. Therefore, the black plating is mine in the pictures. The Bundt was super moist. It had great flavor but was a bit oily. Definitely a hefty bite and didn't need anything additional such as whip or sauce. I hope it stays moist. I will wrap mine in cling wrap. The bite was amazing in that it was heavy but melted in my mouth but wasn't crumbling. You can taste the citrus but its not over powering. I was shocked because "Triple" ment intense. It was not! The Pistachio was decent but a bit over cooked and dry as was the Mac Croissant but it was harty. Definitely a go-to with kids. I was advised to warm it up at home prior to eating and 2 mins in the airfryer was sufficient. If using microwave id Definitely use a moist paper towel. The Latte was beautiful but too strong. The coffee over took the whole drink. I couldn't finish it. I do like a smooth brew that actually holds the flavor of the intended drink. Hopefully, they hire a true Barista to insure the consistency is there. I wasn't happy BUT it was late. It was busy, it wasn't packed but the line was long and moved efficiently. I would come back to try the kitchen as they were closed by the time I came. I loved the space; its huge. There is even a private area for parties or business meetings. There is outside and inside seats which makes touching base more easy. I was a bit confused why the restroom was so small for the space.

This is a great addition to the plaza area. I loved the vibe of this place - upscale, spacious, with great menu items including seasonal options. They have a pretty vast menu to choose from. I got a banana pudding latte that was divine, and a lox-type sandwich, which was tasty and fresh. They also validate parking for up to 30 minutes in the deck, so that is nice!

I was excited to try this place since I've been hearing about them coming to Charlotte for a while. The line was out the door when I got there, and didn't get any shorter the entire time I stayed. I tried a breakfast sandwich and a square smore's croissant, and both were very good. They had ample seating, so it was easy to find a table although not a ton of outlets if you're trying to work. Parking was also a little annoying since you have to park in a paid garage nearby. Overall this place was good but I'm not sure the lines and parking are worth fighting to go back for it. Hopefully this will change now they have a second location.

The hype for this place is unreal. We got here at 12:30pm on a Sunday, waited 20 to 25 minutes to get our food ordered. Currently that online order is not available. After, we ordered the food, there were plenty of tables. Since they just opened a few weeks ago, it is still super busy, as we were enjoying our drinks and sandwiches, the line keeps on growing and people keep on coming. The food was good, I love my chicken salad sandwich, the bread was perfectly toasted and it was great. My elder flower drink was delicious. I know all my friends enjoyed the food. The atmosphere here is beautiful and relaxing, I just felt like I just sit here and chat with friends forever. The service also excellent from the ordering, food delivery, and cleaning table, the staff was quick, friendly, and most importantly with a smile. The last part is the price, this is the part that it is really depends on your budget, it costs me about $35 per person to get a sandwich and a drink. Consider this is a counter order cafe, not a full sit down restaurant it is really high. But if you just order a drink and small dessert to have a great talk with friends, the price will be cheaper. I will come back when it calm down on the hype to see if they will remain the same level of service. But this place is really pretty and nice.

First impressions of Maman: I really love the ambience. I think the decor is pretty and there's plenty of seating which is really nice. The servers also seem to stay busy and they are constantly picking up drinks from the barista and taking them to tables which means hopefully you aren't waiting too long or you sit to eat. I placed a to go order and I only got a pastry, no food, and a drink. The line was pretty long, which is to be expected because this is a new business, but to order my pastry and latte and get back to my car took 25 minutes. Fortunately, they do validate parking (can't remember if it's for 30 minutes or one hour) via QR code, so it was nice not to have to worry about that. My pastry was ok and the drink was also just ok. Although I would return to Maman, I wouldn't order either of those again. They did have other pastries that I would like to try, and the food options looked good too. I'll return when I have more time.

VERY overpriced but the quality of great! The breakfast bowl is amazing and the coffee is also great. The wait to get through the lines can be a bit much since it's new, but seating isn't an issue and the table service to bring the food is quick. Parking is very easy! There is inside and outside options for eating and the neighborhood is full of young professionals that are bringing kids in and out of the space to eat. Service is friendly and sanitation is clearly a priority. Certainly appreciate another place like this in the city, but they need to reevaluate their prices.

First time here and it's so cute. It is pretty spacious and pretty inside. I love that they have a lot of seatings both inside and out. I wish they would have used some of those seat space to build a bigger bathroom it's a bust having to wait for a one stall. But the bathroom is cute. The kid pictures are a cute though. Big menu, lots of options to choose from. Ordered the blubbery matcha and it was good. Not the greatest but it was decent. The chicken sandwich was good, the lettuce and cucumber taste fresh. Took a while for someone to clean the table so we ended up cleaning the last people mess ourself. Wish the table were a little bigger though too small if you order a lot of stuff. Only a few tables in there that are bigger than a two seater.

SO thrilled to have Maman in the neighborhood! I came in a few times during their soft opening and was blown away by the service, wide menu selection and quality/flavor of every item I tried - and that was before the word got out on social media and the big crowds began to form! We came back this morning on a Saturday and waited in a long line, but it moved pretty quickly and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The space and vibe are also absolutely incredible - the branding is on point, and you truly feel like you're stepping into a café in France when you walk inside. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and free parking, too - not easy to find in the Plaza Midwood area! Food and drink-wise, I've so far tried the Quiche Sarah (perfectly cooked and so flavorful), several of the homemade pastries (my favorites were the milk chocolate crème brûlée bun and the lavender blueberry swirl) and a few of the specialty iced lattes (the fleur de sel caramel one was especially tasty)! I am already looking forward to coming at lunchtime and getting one of the bowls, salads and sandwiches on the menu. Such a great addition to our vibrant neighborhood!

Yuminess: 6/10 Allergy Safety: 6/10 Price: 5/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 ‍Service: 9/10 Quick overview: Cute atmosphere, but too busy to work in. Food was decent but not contact allergy-friendly, and a bit pricey. Great service overall with only minor complaints. I'd return, but it's not my first choice. Detailed look: Food was decent overall, but there was room for improvement. The pistachio croissant tasted amazing, but had an absurd amount of filling. It took away from the taste and made it incredibly messy. The seasonal almond croissant latte was great and robust in flavor, however. Sadly, the allergy safety was disappointing. Since they do a great job at labeling what items are free from (dairy-free, gluten-free, etc.), I expected cross-contamination to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, they have dairy-free items directly touching buttered desserts and don't appear to change gloves when grabbing items. Understandably, cross-contamination may happen during baking, but there's a lack of safety past that point. If you have contact allergies, I'd avoid ordering food here. Pricing was a bit high, but it was to be expected for a trendy place. Maman has a cute atmosphere and plenty of seating. Outdoor dining is covered, which was great since it was raining when we visited. However, it's not a great work-from-home environment as it's loud and packed, but that may change in a few months as the "newness" dies down. Service was great overall, and decently quick considering the line was 40 minutes long. However, I dined in, and they didn't give me a plate for my pastry, which made my croissant even messier. I'd return, but only if going with a friend.

The aesthetic of the place is absolutely gorgeous. They have a ton baked pastries, coffee drinks, and some lunch items. It is a very cute brunch spot. They also validate parking for up to 30 minutes.

My first experience at Maman was so good, the baked goods looked incredible and fresh and the staff was super friendly and recommended some items. I ended up getting the Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie which was heated up and OMG, that chocolate just melted in your mouth! Delicious!! I also got the almond banana chocolate bread, and yammi! Moist, perfect for a little breakfast snack! The hype makes so much sense now. Considering this place originated from NYC, I have to say the prices are in line with the rest of the bakeries in town. The decoration is modern and nice, loved the ambience and will be back on my next walk through the neighborhood.

I love maman!!!! I had it in NY and was so excited when I heard they were coming here. The breakfast sandwich is amazing, and the chocolate chip cookie is maybe the best I've ever had. So excited to try more of the menu!!

That particular day, I had a bad experience at another coffee shop after wasting money on an iced latte that was horrid. When I walked into Summit, I said to the barista, look I can't take another bad coffee, do I have to tell you I want it sweet in order to get an iced latte that isn't bitter? The barista took the time to speak with me regarding my experience and share how Summit makes their coffee and syrups. She even let me sample one. That resulted in a great experience as I purchased the enjoyable Birthday Cake Summit Special ($6.60). While this shop is far from my residence, I definitely will go back whenever I'm in the area.

Service was friendly and efficient. I got a large chai latte and peppermint tea which came out to about $10. The chai was ok.. it's a store bought mix that is on the sweeter and more mild side. I probably would not get this again and would order an espresso based latte instead (only because I like a strong chai and it's hard to adjust the flavor of a premade mix). Overall they seems to have a good variety of coffee based drinks to choose from. A few pastries available as well. The merch looked cute too!

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations.
