Sal has been a pleasure to deal with and did great work on a car needing some significant bodywork, requiring the replacement of the driver side driver's door and passenter door. He did that work for a very reasonable price, which was much appreciated because I was not going through my insurance company. Subsequently, after a freak accident involving a fleeing felon who sideswiped me caused much more minor damage to the same side of the car, he did the required work promptly and refused to take any payment for the work, even though it required purchasing a replacement piece of trim. I would gladly recommend him as I found him to be honest, not interested in doing unnecessary work, and very pleasant to deal with. read more

My wife and I had brought our car to this place.  We were met by Sal.  Who at the time seemed very nice.  While he was going over the damage.   He was logging things on the car that weren't part of the accident.  He said, "I'll make sure the insurance company pays for anything I find.  Evne if it wasn't part of the accident. " I told him that it's not necessary and to only stick to the damage we reported. We went there for an estimate.   To decide if it was worth going through insurance.  When we told him we would bring the car back if we decided to go through insurance.   He told us to just keep the car there and to let him know what we decide.   My wife went back to get the car to get it appraised.  Since our insurance company has had issues with his business in the past.  From other people.  They didn't want to send someone there.  Which seemed odd to us.  When she got there and told him what we needed to do and that we would come back to do the work.  He got in her face and screamed and cursed at her.  Then he demanded that she give him the claim number.  He then called the insurance company and screamed at the agent.  He refused to release the car unless someone paid him for leaving it there.  Once the agent hung up on him for continuous cursing and badgering her.  He then went back to yelling at my wife and threw her out if she wasn't going to pay. My wife came home crying and woke me up.  I had just finished a 18 hour shift and had to be back that night.  I then went down there to talk to him.  He then told me my wife is a liar and he would give the car up.  He just wanted to be paid.  Since he felt we were wasting his time.  We never made any agreement, and when we first went there.  He said, since I was a member of a local fire department.   He would do right by us and not worry about leaving the car with him.  He then tried to yell at me and began making comments about my wife again.  Who waited outside in the car.  It got to the point where his own employees were trying to step in and apologize for his actions.  We eventually got the car back without an issue.  Thanks to his employees.  I recommend NO ONE ever go there or give him their business.   If you do, make sure your significant other doesn't go alone.  He has a habit of belittling women and trying to assert his dominance over them and trying to force money out of them.  He is a terrible person.  He will also get you jammed up.  By filing false claims with your insurance company yo gain more money for himself.   DONT TRUST HIM!!! read more

I first used them a few years ago after getting hit. I shopped around at several other local autobody shops and they not only gave me by far the most reasonable estimate but promised to have it done the quickest, and they delivered on both of these without any surprises. I've had some other unfortunate instances for which I've gone to use them and not only have they remembered me, but provided incredible service and quality work. I dropped my car off November 8 for service as my car was involved in a accident as it was parked in a lot and was hit in the back and side swipped.. I was referred to Centre auto body from the mechanic who sold me my car and several other people. I dropped off my car to Sal And Nick and was brought to Enterprise car rental in rvc to get a rental as my car was being worked on. My jeep is 12 years old and had some damage to the back bumper and side panel. I was told my car would he ready in about a week exactly a week later I got a call my car was ready. I picked up my car that afternoon my car looks absolutely beautiful, the car was detailed was absolutely spotless and they also cleaned the headlights. A few days later I opened up my passenger door wich had some previous damage from a accident and to my suprise was fixed. I can not say enough about this business. The owners and all the workers kept me informed as the work was being done and went above and beyond what was supposed to be done.i highly recommend them. Great job. read more

Nick, the owner, is a true professional. He was polite and friendly. I called ahead about fixing curb rash on a rim and he said to bring it down when I can. Getting into a car accident is never a pleasant experience. Being told your car will take longer than usual because of worldwide delays in car parts due to the pandemic still affecting other parts of the world makes things even worse. Both Sal and Nick were two of the most helpful and friendly guys I could have ever asked for in my recent experience at Centre Auto Body. I had been there once before and had a nice experience, but this time they took it to another level. They explained in detail what was going on, how long my car would take, and provided me in depth updates of my car when I called. Because of the very unfortunate delay and having to be in a super small rental for weeks, they even got a couple of dings out of my car without me even asking. Truly above and beyond is all I can say about them. As far as the work went, my car took a pretty good hit on the front and the finished result was exceptional, as if nothing had ever happened in the slightest. This place is not an autobody shop. It's a garage that thinks it can restore cars. I went here with the intention on fixing a few dents in my M3 and blending the paint accordingly. Blend is not in their vocabulary. When I came here I didn't negotiate. I didn't try and drag the price down. I asked them how much to fix and lets get to work asap. It took them forever to even see my car and when they did, I noticed after the work was done that, my car was of two different times of red!!!!!!!!! They didn't even fix the dents good! There was 2 spots that I had pointed out prior and they just disregarded it. Had they NOT gave me a run around about the color, and pushing back a day 5 times to fix their wrong doing, I wouldn't be here writing this review on them! Lastly, the reason why I guess I got the service I got was apparently for the price I got it for. Mind you I came in and asked for the price upfront to fix with no negotiating. I took it as is, so what does that even mean exactly?!?!? I let it be known to them and they just nodded in content. Wow!!!! Professional, courteous, efficient and honest!! These guys were great!! Driver side rear view mirror broke off, they did some digging and found a used one (like new) for half the price. It was installed quickly and they could not have been nicer, every conversation ended with a "my pleasure" or "you're very welcome" little touches like that mean a lot. Just got my bumper replaced by this shop. They did a wonderful job and I think went above and beyond. They surprised me by fixing a dent that was in my door, completely unrelated to the job at hand. And they even gave me a little bottle of paint so that if I got any minor scratches I could touch it up. I don't know what happened with a previous reviewer, who says that his car was two different reds, but my paint job was spot on. The owner had even commented that I had a tough color to blend, it's a bright pastel blue. The whole family that runs the place is very courteous and helpful, I'd definitely go back. read more

I used this shop to get my vehicle repaired after some bozo backed up into the front of my vehicle while I wasn't there. I tried a few other places before I came here, but they were no help and didn't pay any mind to what I needed. A friend recommended this shop, so I stopped by. They contacted and worked with my insurance company, along with getting me a rental. The car was fixed and returned within a week of me dropping it off. Nick explained everything they did to my vehicle, and it all looked amazing The car was cleaned (inside and out) and looked brand new. The whole staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I will be going there for any problems with my car in the future, along with getting my windows tinted next week.
