First time visiting this dealership for Dodge service. I had an unusual transmission issue post an accident and associated repair on my Charger. Jamie, the tech, took his time to triangulate the issue given what the repair shop had done. It took some time but the price was more than fair to get it all done. Over President's Day, I stopped at this dealer to checkout a Certified Pre-Owned Ram 1500 that I'd had my eye on for a while. Anticipating that the price listed on the internet would differ from what I was quoted once I expressed interest, I fully planned to walk out after viewing the truck. Instead, I met Carson, the sales rep who would assist me. I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful demeanor, the lack of pressure and the overall lack of typical sales tactics I had experienced elsewhere. The test drive went well, with Carson taking me on a variety of different roads to get a good feel for the truck. He even encouraged me to really rest the Hemi's acceleration. When we returned, I was interested, but still had not seen any numbers. When we got to that point, surprisingly the price I had seen on the internet was, indeed, the price. After valuing my trade lower than I had hoped, I was once again ready to walk, but when Carson asked what would keep me interested, I quoted a number and 5 minutes later, we were shaking hands. Upon arriving home with my new Ram 1500, I became concerned that a feature I had wanted might not be installed as we had discussed during the deal. I was unwilling to make a big deal about it, but when Carson called to follow-up, he asked if I was completely satisfied. I explained that everything was great, but I wasn't sure if the truck had the feature we discussed. Immediately, Carson looked into it, and called me back within the hour to assure me that the feature was indeed present and proved it with an emailed window sticker. After talking to Carson and viewing the sticker listed options, I was very happy with both the truck and the customer service I had received from Century and Carson. If you are looking for a dealer that isn't trying to take you for all you have, try Century. And, if he's not busy, ask for Carson- he's an honest guy and a rare commodity. It's also worth noting that the dealer offered me a pretty fair maintenance plan, but I couldn't really make use of it because I'm not local to the Mt. Airy area. Most people know that this process drops your credit score by 3 points per inquiry, just to tell you that you qualify for 18%apr. Are you kidding me, it almost seemed like that because my credit score wasn't 750 plus that it was a bother for them to help me out, cause if 18% apr is what they bank was offering, no thank you. I just bought a jeep here this morning and am happy all around. I found the jeep that Ive been looking for, for the last three months or so. I worked with Joey and he was great. He was new but I had no clue because he was so professional, and very knowledgable of the jeeps, and he listed to me and helped me along the way. He was patient, and not pushy at all. I am in agreement with Mike L. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them and had an additional two serviced by them and have been left with a very bad taste in my mouth from all but two dealings with Century Dodge. The two car sales were used vehicles that were good deals and the transactions were easy and the cars were represented well (both foreign makes as they were trade ins) and I had the same sales person for both and he was easy to work with. However since then, I have had two different Jeeps serviced there and I have had problems with the sales manager(s), their service process, and car salesmen who I have had dealings with. The first issue was an AC unit for a Jeep Cherokee that needed a total overhaul to the tune of $1500. When I took the Jeep back the AC didn't blow cold air, that's how it was given to them, and the parts that were to be replaced weren't. When I confronted them on this the sales manager became belligerent and actually got in my face and blamed the issues on me and the fact that the Jeep was lifted that caused the issues. Normally that would be laughable but the fact that they refused to get the AC working and/or refund any money made it a very bad customer experience. And to add insult to injury, they left my Jeep dirty with grease marks all over the interior and muddied my floor mats and didn't bother to clean any of it up. Their car salesmen are rude, save for the one I had who no longer works there, and they seem to go out of their way to make sure they push their weight around like they're hot stuff. And the service managers have been rude, abrasive, and not considerate of customers. Years ago Century was a decent place to do business with and convenient for Jeep parts but I have been forced to get my parts elsewhere and take my vehicles to get serviced by mechanics who take care of my cars like their own. Bottom line, look elsewhere for parts, service, or Dodge/Jeep sales. read more

My wife and I just purchased a 2019 Cherokee from Century Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Mt Airy. It was perhaps the best buying experience I've had w/ any dealership. Everyone we spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful. Many dealerships push you to sign and then push you out the door to get to the next sale. Not the case w/ Century at all. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to answer our questions, handle our objections and provide ample information. We would definitely buy from Century again! read more

My dealings with this business was in the service department. I had a insurance claim that was considered 1 day worth of service. I understand the parts had to come in so a week time was reasonable. I needed my car fixed. If you want your car fixed in any type of time frame DO NOT GO HERE!!! It took a month and a half with 4 promised dates that fell through. I received an apology but that did not make my vehicle appear again. I am not sure if they are short staffed or what but honestly in business that is not my issue. No one was considerate of me not being without my car for over a month. I will not be going here again. read more

I called at about 2 p.m. today to talk to a service advisor to discuss the potential applicability of a service bulletin on my 2014 300. The vehicle has always had an intermittent extended cranking problem. I wanted to schedule an appointment so the fix that I recently found could be applied. I started explaining to the female service advisor my situation and the fact that this shop previously told me that the mechanic could not replicate the problem, although the service advisor DID experience/witness the problem when I dropped it off previously. The mechanic obviously did not check for or see the chrysler tsb I that I found. She took my name and number and told me she was really busy but would call me back shortly. That was 10 hours ago. I'm glad for the owner of this dealership that his/her shop is so busy they don't need my business. I'm thoroughly irritated and they haven't even done any work yet. After requesting an out the door price for a 2019 Cherokee online I was Emailed by Joe DeGiorgi and given a quote. When I asked For a breakdown of the extra fees he never responded. After I wrote a review of my experience on google he emailed me and finally gave me a breakdown along with an excuse of why he didn't respond. He asked for another chance and I gave It to him. He finally agreed on a price for the Cherokee and were only waiting till Friday to negotiate the trade in value of a car. The next day he emails me with all these apologies because the car was sold. This was of course after he and I had agreed to a price. I should Have walked away then but once again I gave him a chance. He found an exact match to the Cherokee it expected me to pay more for it since it had a higher delivery fee. This dealership has proven to me that it cannot be trusted. Just last year, I would have given Century Ford-Jeep of Mount Airy a five-star rating here. My wife and I purchased each a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in 1912 at their Mount Airy showroom. The salesperson was friendly and low-pressure, and we liked their customer-service attitude so, that we purchased both vehicles the same day. Their Jeep service department was friendly and efficient the first two and a half years, but since October of 2015, something changed: the phone calls were increasingly transferred to voicemail, sometimes returned; the service people apparently turned over rapidly, and are now mostly young men with poor customer service training and not very knowledgeable of things mechanic. More recently my wife had to wait a whole week for a repair that could have taken a couple of days, mainly because the service attendant "forgot" to order an important replacement part from the specified insurance-company supplier. I have been trying to contact the Jeep service department for a week, and I have been sent to a voice mailbox that is full and can't accept messages! I called the receptionist and let her know that their voice mailbox was full, and she offered to take my message, name and phone number, supposedly to tell the Jeep service department to call me back and set my service appointment. I haven't been called back yet, and my calls keep going to their full voice mailbox. I wrote to Mr. Joe DeGiorgi, Century's General Manager to express our concerns with this decline in their quality customer-service, with the hope that he addresses the issue. read more
