This is the worst place for any carpet purchase. I really just want to put a WARNING out there. Now we just have a roll of carpet not installed outside my son's room. We were not told at the time of purchase they don't install carpet on tile floor. We don't work installing carpet. When the installer got here they wanted extra money $50.00 dollars on top of the $365 we had already paid for installion on a very small room to frame the floor. Very cheap carpet...sold to me as good carpet and comes to find out the carpet is trouble very thin and I had to go to Herman's Carpet in Fontana to buy better quality carpet I paid $350 for 10.5 x 13.5 down the drain with this place. I wasn't too pleased with this place. The first time I went in there was only one person working who was on the phone for a long time, when she finally got off the phone and came over to talk to me, the phone rang again and she ran off. That happened a couple times. I picked out a carpet and she offered me an amazing price quote on it. I told her I want it and would talk with my installer, then come back in to order the carpet when I had an install date set. It ended up my installer could do it rather quickly so I went in the next morning to order, the lady wasn't there, instead there was another woman who kind of seemed like she was babysitting the store, couldn't answer any questions. She took my number and said the first lady would call me back to set up the order. I waited all day for the call, then around 5:30 that evening the lady called me and the price had now changed to over $200 more than first quoted. I declined the offer and basically wasted a whole day on that mess while I could of spent the time visiting other carpet stores. I don't recommend this place. read more

First, Al is a really nice individual. He goes out of his way to make you happy as a customer. I know that Al is limited on what he can do because he is employed, however. Faye, is not my fav. She did not return my call unless I was calling to give her more business (i.e,., give her more money for baseboards... She quoted me $1100 dollars but she did not take measurements) I got the most expensive lament (Core-lite) laid with carpeting (house is approx 2700 sqft) and the only thing that was left was a $30 piece that she wanted me to buy out-of-my-pocket because the tile was not laid by her, so she was not going to get a strip. BUT she did offer to pay for the contractor. ****I am assuming if the piece cost $30, then she may have only offered him $5-10.**** The work was done decently (I liked it) and that is why I gave 3 1/2 stars, but don't expect Faye to really go out of her way to help and keep your business. I am sure that Faye will reply to this post "acting" like she wants to help me, but I am not in need of anymore of her services. I just know where the buck stop with Discount Carpet. 0 STARS!!(system MADE me select 1 before being able to posting review) Worst decision I've made to go with them to buy my blinds! That took long to come back because I now know that the company he uses are made in China! Mike has by FAR the WORST customer service!! You would think he's a "professional" and take responsibility for a mistake I believe he made but no rather he blames the customer! My mistake for relying on thinking their professionals! He came and measured ALL my windows however some way somehow he missed one of the main ones in the living room when they came to instal I called him and he said you only wanted 7 windows I told him originally I asked for a quote for 7 over the phone before he even came and measured them I asked about financing which they offer! Since I was approved when he came to measure I told him if I'm gonna finance I'm gonna do all the windows, which he started measuring all in front of me then when it came to signing order he wrote down 7 but I was having other things done at same time I didn't catch that it wasn't all the windows so I signed it but I did see him measure that one window "missed" since it was one of the main ones so I don't understand how being one of the main windows I need covered(being the living room and my neighbors can see in) it was the one missed. When they came to instal there was an extra blind in with all mine which they thought it was for that window missed but it was a different color which I now believe it was Mikes mistake but of course he insisted I only said 7 windows.. You would think, if he really thought that was the case, he would HAVE ask me which window I didn't want covered which he NEVER did! That would have been a simple fix as I would have told him again "ALL WINDOWS"!! My husband and I saw him measuring all windows after I told him "ALL WINDOWS AND SLIDING DOORS"! Also he didn't have much of a variety to show me when he came to measure, he only had a small little sample of the balance which I thought were all going to match but no, once installed I realized the sliding door were these ugly plain ones that I did not like at all! At same time I called to complain about the missing windows he said "the ones for sliding doors are completely different you should have told me you wanted the same", well I'm not the professional and I don't do this all the time! I don't know what I'm suppose to be asking, however I did ask if the balances were going to be like the sample he had all he said was "YES" but NEVER specified that it would ONLY be for windows and sliding doors would be different! If that was the case I would have asked him to match them all even if it was more $$ since I was going to FINANCE the whole thing! I was planning to remodel my showers thru him since I was approved for a good amount thru his finance company, but I would NEVER recommend him again being that he was so rude to me his customer service was one of the worst I've had! Ive never been a fan of the whole "CUSTOMER IS ALWAY RIGHT" being that I've always worked in customer service and yes NOT always is the customer right but when they are it's appreciated when a business owner at least takes responsibility for his part! I wasn't asking for anything free!! I was more upset that since it takes almost 2 weeks to get them back I was gonna have to go without a blind longer and being my main living room windows I don't want to have it uncovered! Like I said I wasn't TRYING to get anything free and I'll have to pay for it I WILL NOT give him more business regardless of the so called "DISCOUNT" he wanted to give me I went with another vendor which orders from a company here in the US and had it in 3-4 days.. I don't see much difference in quality if anything this one does look a bit better! At least they match and I'm happier with this other place and their customer service most of all they too agreed it was MIKE's mistake and thought for inconvenience the "right" thing would have been is to give for free!! I regret not finding this place before and rather giving them my full business even if I was going to pay out of pocket!! I thought I found the best place for carpet and flooring! They came same day to show me flooring and we picked out everything needed. I asked questions about the subfloor that we have and they kept saying not a problem!!! When they brought the flooring out I questioned it cause it didn't look like the thickness of what I picked out and Micheal said no this is it I'm sure of it and because of the price I let it go! Well now we have had nothing but problem the last 3months and we have only have it installed for 4months! They still haven't fixed anything and have come out like 5times and they tell me the we have to fix the subfloor! Really bad service if you experience what I have! read more

It was my first time shopping for carpet. I had visited 3 other stores, but I couldn't confidently make a choice on a carpet because I didn't understand what I could expect over time between the various carpets quality and features. It was difficult to compare the carpets against each other because the brands each have their own stain and ware guard names. It was overwhelming to be able to make an educated choice. I went to this stores showroom. I told Fay, the owner, what kind of carpets I was looking for and she really made it simple for me to understand what I needed quality wise and what I didn't need too. We narrowed my choices down based on the type of carpet I wanted, my budget and the quality features I really needed. I had an in home measurement by another company and Fay's measurement was nearly 100 feet less, which saved me money by not paying for overage. The amount of carpet was perfect, with very little left over. I had a patterned carpet installed in a room with some tricky angles and the installers did a great job on it.
