Because of its wifi and the only model DC it is expensive (used one sell on eBay for over $150). My amateur diagnosis with a multimeter and I thought a capacitor was bad. No other place in town even does capacitor/circuit board repairs. But it gets better! I told the owner the capacitor was bad. He said he would confirm and repair for $20. I provided him with just 30 minutes and returned to find the device repaired. He even diagnosed the part (yes I was wrong!) and showed me the varistor was bad. Part worked as promised. I'm especially pleased as I gave him a bad diagnosis to work with. Yes he has tons of electronics in his place, but those all provide parts, don't let that scare you. I'm sure my replaced varistor (a very uncommon part to have on hand) came from some of those electronics. A real mom and pop feel, quality workmanship and now my fan works, saving me over $130. A+

It appears, because it no longer occurs, that I was accidently hitting the laptop's mouse box when typing which was causing all the print I'd typed to be swiftly highlighted and deleted. It was a disaster but after having the laptop for several hours during one day, I was assured by their technicians that the laptop wasn't dysfunctional. This gave me peace of mind. The office was clean and the work areas organized and well maintained from my view at the front counter. The people there were helpful and respectful when communicating with me. I think the only area that I might suggest to improve in is better more timely communication. No one was rude or anything like this, I just think that no more than 2-3 hours should pass before the tech's should phone the customer just to keep them updated on the status of the work; even if they are still doing diagnostics. Other than that, my exposure with this company was minimal but I would return to them again if I needed to.
