Real cool guy, we chatted about cars, features, etc. We immediately took a look at the car, inside and out, car was in VERY GOOD condition. They keep their cars very clean and show room ready. SERIOUSLY! Next we went to the desk to talk numbers, everything was correct as shown online. I already came in with the intent to leave a downpayment regardless. The most important thing about shopping for a car is to be educated and understand businesses have to make money. Research the cars you are interested in and match the value that way. Long story short, after all the questions with Mike, I was very happy with the final cost, VERY reasonable for a 2014 Infiniti q50 hybrid which included taxes and regulations all done right there in the office. Before going, I even called to confirm if the discount was real, and they told me yes, come in and you will get $5,000 off any car. When I arrived, the salesperson Mandy greeted me, but the experience went downhill immediately. Instead of asking what car I wanted or showing me anything, he sat me down and handed me an iPad to fill out a credit check form. He started asking for my personal information, income, and work history before even discussing the car I came for. When I mentioned the $5,000 discount they advertised, he suddenly changed the story and said it only applies to "specific cars." No test drive, no startup, no sitting inside--just pointing at the cars in the lot. after he bring me insidde building and ask me which one i choose? i said I chose the Tesla Model 3 listed for $22k and show him listed on his own website, he said hold on, and he ran to the manager, he came back with few papers showing the real OTD price was over $35,000. He then explained that the online price is only an "advertised special" after a 25% down payment, and it does not include: * State tax * City tax * License & registration * NY inspection * Tire recycling fee * Finance charges * Reconditioning fees * Dealer fees Basically, the online price is fake, and the real price is $15000+ higher than what they listed online price. Scam. I went to get a used Tesla. They advertised 2023 Model Y for $24890. When I talk to them on phone they $2500 down payment that was not part of the price and $1995 as dealer charge. I went there to talk in person and asked why was this not included. No straight answer. We finally agreed to buy it for $24890 + $2500 financed since they said the price is much higher if I do not finance. After waiting there for 3 hours for some stuff they were doing they came back and said it will cost me about $1500 as financing cost and about $1200 for dealer service cost. I purchased a used 2024 Honda Civic Type R from Certified Luxury Motors (215 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY) on October 9, 2025, after seeing it advertised online by "Prestige Motors" for around $35,000. When I arrived, I realized the business was actually Certified Luxury Motors, not "Prestige Motors," which was never clearly explained until I had to ask the agent. The ad did include a fine-print disclaimer mentioning about a 25% price increase, which the salesperson also brought up during our conversation. I told them I would only buy the car if I liked the final numbers. They said the finance manager would go over everything, but before I could see any final breakdown, they required me to pay my down payment first. After paying, the final price still came out higher than expected, with added fees and no clear explanation. Because I arrived around 6 PM, I didn't have enough time or light to fully inspect the vehicle before the dealership closed. Once I took the car home, I noticed multiple problems that were never mentioned -- the windshield was sand-blasted, creating heavy glare at night, missing emergency kit for punctures, and the car was missing OEM floor mats and the original key with metal blade. Armed with that info I made the offer based on my budge, after a back and forth we agreed on the price. After we agreed on the price I also asked if there was any additional dealership charges. They said yes and explained what those were, I pushed them on that and after back and forth we came to an agreement, I asked them to put that in the writing and then I got to work on getting insurance and financing. 2 hours later we completed the transaction and I told them to have the car ready for me the next day for pick up. Do your home work, check to see what the real price of the car should be based on year and mileage and then negotiate within your budge, ask the right questions and request everything in writing before you begin the purchase. Going back to what the sales person told me "we can fix w.e issues is wrong with the car".. if you read the disclaimer on the website. On February 17, 2024, I bought a 2017 Honda Pilot with 65,000 miles from Certified Luxury Motors located at 444 W Merrick Rd, Valley Stream, NY 11580. On February 23, 2024, the check engine light came on, indicating an issue with the emissions system, so I took the vehicle back for a temporary inspection. Then, on April 23, 2024, I experienced recurring issues with the all-wheel drive and emissions systems, which led to another visit for assessment. On June 15, 2024, the transmission system warning light activated, and my car broke down while I was driving on the highway. I returned the vehicle for evaluation on June 17 and was given a loaner car. Despite my repeated inquiries for updates, I didn't get my vehicle back until sometime in August. On August 7, 2024, the emissions system warning light lit up again, and both the emissions and transmission system lights came on again on August 19. I stopped driving the car until I could return it. In September 2024, I found out that the auto repair shop at 444 W Merrick had closed. A specialist at a different location in Queens offered to inspect my vehicle. Desperate for repairs, I took the car there on September 23, 2024, and discovered I needed a new transmission and catalytic converter. Although I have full coverage with CARFAX, the transmission and O2 sensor were covered, but I had to pay a significant amount in taxes. I finally got my vehicle back during the third week of November 2024. The check engine light didn't come back on for a couple of months, and I hoped I wouldn't need a new catalytic converter. However, in February 2025, the engine light came on again. I can't afford the cost of a catalytic converter, even though I suspect this issue existed when I got the vehicle back in February 2024. As of today, May 5, 2025, I'm facing another transmission problem, and my car is currently inoperable. I returned to the dealership at 225 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY 11021. After speaking with them on May 8, 2025, I learned that to get another vehicle, I would need to trade in my current one, but they would only offer $4,000 to $5,000 less than its actual worth. Since I have evidence that the vehicle was not in good condition when I bought it, I believe I shouldn't have to trade it in and that it would be fair to simply switch to another vehicle. Moreover, after spending a lot of time discussing this, they told me I couldn't trade in my car because I would already be $4,000 to $5,000 in the hole. It feels unfair to have to trade it in when they sold me a faulty vehicle. Additionally, since my car is in the shop and going through the warranty process, they wouldn't provide me with a loaner. Just adding to the collateral damage but everything people are saying is absolutely true. I showed up to see a car. Gentleman with a gold tooth and a crooked smile said to go stand by the car in the parking lot and someone will come out with the keys. I stand there for about 15 minutes and no sign of anybody. I go in again and he looks at me and then goes back to whatever he was doing. Eventually he gives me his attention and has me sign in. Another girl grabs the keys and promptly lets me see the vehicle. I asked a question about the exhaust and she says "let me go ask" and I sat there for 30 minutes. On the bright side, I got to know the car a bit better by just pressing random buttons and revving the exhaust but this is terrible customer service. Had a very poor experience at this dealership. I called ahead to make an appointment on an Audi listed on their website at $21,150. By the time all was said and done they were trying to charge me $27,600 which is absolutely insane. When I called ahead I specifically asked if there were any extra charges or fees that I need to know about besides the Dealer Prep fee of $1695 and the lady said no there are no other fees. After I started with the paperwork they ran my credit and AFTER came up to me and said there is a $3995 warranty charge. They tried to sell me on all kinds of stuff it covers but it was not needed and that one fee was almost 25% of the vehicle price. Absolutely ridiculous. I was going to let this go and just move on but I live 2.5 hours away and SPECIFICALLY ASKED for all the fees and charges to be outlined but they did not. I spent 2 hours there with the salesperson going back and forth with his manager and then to have the manager come out and tell me more about the stupid 10 year warranty. When I asked why they would not include the MANDATORY warranty charge in the price they said they don't do that because no one would come see the car. I said fine but why would they not tell me about it over the phone before making the 2.5 hour drive. It really bothered me and is the perfect example of deceptive and ridiculous used car salesperson garbage. Arturo, Abdul, Junior, and the Certified Luxury Motors repair shop were all extremely helpful, patient, and professional during my entire experience. I'm leaving a 5-star review because of my personal experience with Certified Luxury Motors, combined with them having the specific car I wanted, and being true to their word is as good as it gets. As other reviews mention, I found dealer fees and the discrepancy of online vs in-person pricing an unavoidable reality of the car shopping experience, so go to a few places in person as it's the only way to get accurate pricing. They kept up their side of a verbal agreement at the time of purchasing the car: fixed the notification light in the dashboard for the collision system, provided a seat detailing on some stains present at purchase, provided rubber car mats that were missing at purchase. Also after leaving the dealership and noticing distortion in the back speakers, they were able to fix it and leave them working correctly. All free of charge, and although it took about a month to schedule, with plenty of follow up from my side, this is all during a pandemic and should be considered. I cannot believe I did not come to Yep and read the reviews before traveling 2.5 hours for my son to purchase a Honda accord listed on their website $13,900 28,000 miles only to get there and find out the car is priced at $22,000 35,000 miles beyond pissed off! We called the day before to inquire on fees they charged we were told no fees the price you see on the website is our price!!! Lies, lies and more lies!!! I would give them a minus star rating I purchased my 2019 Q50 Infiniti in march 2023 with 44,000 miles on November 25 2023 the motor blew with 50,000 miles i only drove it 6,000 miles . I had it towed to a local Infiniti dealer for repairs the service manager told me the motor warranty was branded and voided due to lack of maintenance from previous owners. I contacted certified luxury motors in valley stream and explained what happened and asked them why i was not informed of the voided warranty from the factory because i would not have purchased the car they basically said it was not their problem and wiLL not do anything to help me. DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES To begin, I should looked into the negative reviews more before going here, they were accurate. I'm writing this to hopefully inform someone else before trying to do business with these guys. This dealership makes a habit of posting what they call "the starting price" online which is not even true because there is no scenario in which you would get the car at that advertised price. They intentionally advertise the car at a much lower price to get you in the dealership, test drive the car with you, and once you're ready to purchase it they reveal thousands of dollars of what they've termed "dealer prep fees" among others. My salesperson actually told me that they tried to advertise the true price online a long time ago and they had months where no one came into the dealership. Shocker. I had the misfortune of experiencing this today. I spoke with multiple people at this business the past few days confirming the details of the car, warranties, and most specifically, the advertised price. I called the day before coming in and asked a sales person the price of the car. I was told the advertised $16900 that I saw online so I confirmed I would be there today to check the car out. I was able to test drive the car, inspect it myself, and pay my own mechanic to travel there and check it out before sitting down and being hit with the truth. Aside from the advertised $16900 price of the car, I would also be charged the cost of them making the car a certified pre-owned vehicle, approximately $6000 and another $3000 of dealer prep fees, bringing the price up to about $25900. I was floored. From my reaction I believe my salesperson realized I was not going to be receptive to another word he said so he brought in his sales manager, Junior, who proceeded to try and make me feel silly for thinking that the car was actually going to be that price. *The price they listed it for on every single website I checked.* Beyond insulting my intelligence he also tried to show me other companies' pricing for the same car being much higher. To that my response was 'yeah, that's why I didn't go to their dealerships'. Because they honestly advertise their prices and don't waste people's time. I traveled from out of state, paid a mechanic to meet me there, and spent many hours of my day looking at a car that wouldn't have even fallen into my search results had the true cost been advertised or at least disclosed to me when I arrived there. TLDR: They are a dishonest business. They will act like the car is a certain price to hold your interest until you're about to check out and surprise you with thousands of dollars in extra fees.
