Now, I understand they're ultimately a junk removal company, but they also provide moving services upon request. With this service in mind, you'd think they'd be better equipped with protective solutions. They started off fast and efficient which we appreciated. But when it came to the larger furniture like the couch, mattress, and bedframe.. they dragged my furniture on the ground outside. I watched carefully and had to request not to drag.. they did not wrap the furniture or use any blankets to keep from damage. All of my furniture is new within the last 1.5 years as when I moved to the apartment they were moving me away from, I ordered completely new furniture that were delivered up to my unit in boxes and assembled myself. I lived alone, didn't have pets, no kids, rarely had guests over. My furniture was clean and pristine. They also pushed a brand new office chair with wheels on asphalt. One of the movers commented on poor assembly of the bed frame.. hello, you are moving someone who lives here.. who else would have assembled it? They moved my stuff in a trailer with no cover, and again, no protective solutions like a tarp to cover at the very least. Once all the furniture was moved, we saw holes and skid marks all over my new couch, bed frame and mattress. We brought it up to them before they left and they said they tried their best in the elevator, when it was clear these were asphalt marks and I saw with my own eyes how they treated everything. We have since put in a claim with Chunks of Junks via email to which they SEEM cooperative simply because they are emailing us back. We've done everything they've asked like provide photos of the damage, share the value of each piece, etc. But it's been more than TWO MONTHS without resolve.

Their price was in the middle of the two other companies we narrowed it down too but we decided to do Eco Movers due to our initial reaction of getting quotes and questions answered. They were very responsive and I could tell they were not trying to hit you over the head with hidden fees or additional costs like some of the other companies. Everything they quoted was a set price with no fluctuations. We booked everything a few months in advance to be proactive but Leury and his team made sure to check in with us before moving day. He came by and did a walk through of our 3 bed/2 story home to make sure he and his team had what they needed. The only thing I wasn't expecting was to pay for the blankets used for wrapping, but I take responsibility for that as Leury was not aware that our belongings would be staying in storage, and did not want to remove the blankets so our stuff wouldn't be damaged. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and had no issues paying the extra for that. The guys that arrived to pack our stuff were so nice. We had about 3 guys show up and they did their thing. They made sure to point out any of our furniture that had previous dings or cracks and took pictures for reference. They were super quick and efficient and wrapped our fragile and heavy furniture. We did the packing ourselves and only hired them to move so we appreciated them wrapping things as part of their service. After they were done we were given an estimated time of arrival for our items and as always, they stayed in communication with us along the way. They gave us daily updates of where our load was on the journey. We had someone else be there for when our load arrived and they let us know everything went smoothly! I love how thorough the whole Eco Movers team was. I always felt like my things were safe and taken care of. We also had 2 Jeeps that needed transporting and Leury and his team recommended us to their partner Mark who was equally honest and reliable. They also quoted us fixed quotes without any hidden fees, and stayed in constant communication with us. We met our driver (Enrique) across the street from our neighborhood to drop off our cars. I would note that they need space to unload some cars to put yours on, so meeting them in a more feasible location may be a thing. Thankfully we had a big lot across from our neighborhood so we just walked back after our cars were dropped off. The company used was Onway Logistics. I appreciated them providing a tracking link so you can track your cars along the way. They arrived a day before schedule and we also had someone pick the cars up for us and everything went smoothly. Overall we paid about $11.5k for the whole move. The cars were $1850 a piece and the household move came in around $7800. Again, we had quotes higher and lower than Eco Movers but felt more comfortable paying a bit more for quality service. We highly recommend Eco Movers if it's in your budget, and will keep recommending them to anyone who asks! Huge shout out to Elsa for staying in constant communication with us and being such a pleasure to work with on Leury's team. And a huge shout out to our handy movers Hunter, Jonathan, and Lee for loading our things and having fun while doing it! And Enrique for getting our vehicles there safely! And thank you to Leury for having such an amazing team and system!

Let me back up. I had called to make sure Western Elite was a transfer station ( I am new to the area). The lady was very helpful and asked where I was and she helped me locate the closes one to me. She also gave me the price per ton at each location. I was surprised by how helpful they were. The dump/transfer station is easy to drive to and dump whatever you are hauling. You throw your waste on the ground and it is great for dump trailers. Some transfer stations have you through your trash in the actual trailer which is a pain due to having to throw the garbage or waste over rails.

They also must have performed some witchcraft on my lawn because there's no way all my junk fit on their tiny little truck, but when they pulled away a short time later the house looked like nothing had ever happened. I normally do google reviews. I did a google review last time I used them. Same 5 star rating applies! I'm all for up and coming small businesses. Two years ago when I used them they were a small operation. Two years later Certified movers has grown! I'm super proud of this young man and how far he's come! He is so blessed! Joe and his movers are fantastic! The four guys who came to help me move were very nice and courteous. Joe works with you to get things done. I rented my own truck but I got a 20ft but should have got a 24ft or 26ft because I had a cpl large items and I used bags to pack instead of all boxes so that may have taken up a lot more space (it was cheaper what can i say). Well the one man who was packing said don't worry about it, I'll get it in the truck like Tetris! He surely did! Lol! I applaud him! I still had A few things that wouldn't fit in the Uhaul. A cpl of the guys had trucks and a van. They put the extra boxes in their trucks and van to make sure we got it all in one trip! I hope Joe gave each guy a $25 tip like I asked him to do... they deserved it!! These guys are fantastic! Friendly, courteous and hard working! BEWARE!!!!!!!! Never allow a moving company to touch your items without a contract and broken items are guaranteed! BIG MISTAKE! This move has turned into a disaster. It's the worst move EVER. As I unpack I find more broken items hidden behind boxes. I found a big scratch on a new dining table, I called him he refused to take responsibility. I was charged $2,100 for broken furniture. The worst is I am missing boxes. One has precious items who knows what happened? Take pictures of ALL your items first. If I had we would be in court. I'm filing an insurance claim. Let them deal with this substandard business. I was even forced to kick one guy off the job for being rude and trying to argue with me. The replacement was a kid who likely did most of the damage. I'm beyond PISSED OFF!!!! I want to be compensated, too bad it will NEVER happen from this business. He said he has 30 years of experience. I was ripped off...BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!! read more

The best moving experience we ever had was with Joe and his crew. My recently widowed sister had to move from Henderson, NV to Carson, CA. We found Joe on Angislist after two movers tried to take advantage of my sister. We became skeptical of movers. But Certified Moving Service proved to be honest and dependable. They were all very professional, courteous and friendly. They didn't charge us didn't surprise us with additional charges like other companies did. Thanks again, Joe of Certified Moving Service. This is actually the second time I used this company the first time I gave no notice and called Joe and he was literally at my house in an hour and a half no questions asked The second time I actually made an appointment he had four guys and a box truck here right on time. They took my TVs down off the wall and wrap them they took apart my dining room table and wrapped it same with my bedroom wrapped everything put everything in their truck moved it over from my two bedroom apartment on the third floor to my new two bedroom apartment on the third floor with no elevator the guys were amazing they got everything done in 4 hours. Super great! I hired Certified Moving Service on the recommendation of a friend who had used them and they came thru for me 110%! I've moved a lot in my life so I consider myself an expert, this move was not like any other I'd made though. The job was to bring my storage in Las Vegas to me in Long Beach Wa. My storage included valuable memorabilia, and several large oil paintings only in cardboard mirror boxes, it was also a bit of a mess too, and I was not there. But thank goodness they were! They repacked the open boxes and took extra care w paintings. Sending me a photo of the unit spotless they gave me an ETA for the next afternoon and arrived at my door 1100 miles away 1 minute early! I moved here from California and I was an hour out from Vegas when I got wind the company I hired through Uhaul had to pull out. I was stuck...so I thought. I reached out to Certified Moving Service and Joe and his partner were kind enough to arrive in a timely manner LAST MINUTE and move my items out of a 25 foot Uhaul and bring extremely heavy and technical items up THREE (3) flights of stairs (no elevators). Joe is a great guy to work with. His company got us moved out and in our new home in a timely manner. The only issue was I paid for 4 guys to get the job done quickly but two of the guys were kind of lazy and kept complaining it was hot. This is Vegas, so yeah it's hot. This is why I hire someone who said they can get the job done. Overall I would call Joe again because he sent one of the guys home because of not working. In June of this year, we made a deal with buyers so we had to urgently look for a moving company. Great experience with Certified Movers. We were moving to Vegas and needed help unloading the truck that we had loaded and driven across country. Called Certified because the ratings were so good - and found out why. We set up the job a week ahead for a Sunday at 8 AM. Another 5 star service! Joe and his guys are prompt and professional. They helped me move out of my storage into an apartment. They were fast and careful. Joe even came to my apt after hours to fix some minor damage on a coffee table. He didn't have to do that but he did. We booked our Movers pretty last minute and this company was able to fit us in and at an affordable rate. While I was told 4 guys would be coming, only 3 arrived but they were respectful of our stuff, worked quickly, were kind to my family and could not have made our move any easier. They protected our furniture as well as took apart our furniture and reassembled everything at our new home. I highly recommend this company! read more

Joe and his team were really great. They came in and checked everything and said that they had no problems doing it. They were very quick they were respectful and were very helpful. We moved from an upstairs apartment to a downstairs apartment, and I know that was probably difficult, but they were very great at what they did. They showed up early in the arrival window, did a walk thru to see what they would be dealing with and started. They worked hard! Not quick. Could have been much easier. The good: courteous, arrived promptly, fit the house into…read moretwo 16' Pack-rat containers with efficient space usage. Not good: 11 hours with a 4 man crew, over $1900. Not to move, just pack and load a house where we did A LOT of prep. 4 bd 3 ba. Nearly all of the garage items packed and staged. Backyard, packed and staged. Master closet and bath and master clothes, packed. Pictures pulled off walls and staged. One bedroom empty. Loft empty. Another bedroom, 3 items. 3 of 4 TVs were already packed (smallest 40" TV left). They spent 4 hours in the kitchen. This was the biggest part for sure and we have a lot of kitchen items. But it wasn't 16 labor hours big. My wife and I could have done that in 2 hours (and I guess we should have!). There were three furniture items to disassemble, a king bed, a crib, and a dining table. Dining table was not disassembled. They recommend buying your own packing supplies. No further guidance. So I purchased the $600 Uhaul kit, plus other items. Well, we needed a trip to the store to buy more tape. Then we needed a trip to the store to buy more moving blankets. Bought out the entire Uhaul, 15 blankets, $150. Brought them home and nearly immediately we were asked for more blankets. Half of the other supplies were not used (thankfully Uhaul lets you return unused items) which almost balanced out the blankets. 3 of 4 wardrobe boxes were unused (seems like those would have been good for the pillows, blankets and sheets sitting unpacked in the driveway). TV box, unused, cannot return that one (what did they pack the TV in? I'm scared to find out). 4 loading straps to secure the furniture in the containers, unused. Towards the end, unpacked goods starting going randomly into the containters. No wall or floor coverings/protection were used. I thought this was standard practice. Lots of scuffs and scratches on the LVT floors. Thankfully we were getting the carpets cleaned the next day. It seemed like we got an inexperienced crew. One older gentlemen knew the business and the others were mostly clueless. They rarely split up which is strange. In past moves, I've had a crew where 2 would pack the kitchen and the rest would wrap and breakdown furniture and stage. Then they converge to load. No efficiency in that regard. Overall, well done fitting the home into two containers with efficient space use. But this 11 hour ordeal ended up costing us way more than we anticipated.

Off the bat, Alona was incredibly helpful and professional in the info gathering phase - asking all the right questions so that no surprises come up for us, or for SBM. She was able to give me a price range for our move, but assured us that a firm price will be supplied once a visual assessment was taken. At the end of the call, she scheduled a video call at an agreed upon date and time for us to walk through our apartment with their estimator. The visual assessment call came exactly as scheduled, and had it not been for some technical difficulties on my end, it went without a hitch. A day after, Alona supplied us our fixed price proposal for our move. The morning of our move, Tristan texted me to let me know that the movers were en route. They actually got to our apartment complex early, but didn't ring the doorbell until the agreed upon start time of 8:30. At 8:30, Jett, Jose and Thomas got to work right away. Even though we were on the 3rd floor of our building that was without an elevator, these gentlemen made quick work of our boxes, furniture and belongings. We did our best to box our things up nicely, but the Team took great care to wrap furniture with the moving blankets and plastic wrap they had brought with them to mitigate any potential damage. In less than 3 hours, our apartment was emptied and our belongings were stacked neatly into the 20' Uhaul they had rented for the move. The drive out to Texas for Jett and Jose could not have been more difficult. We knew this first hand because we drive a nearly identical route just a few hours behind. It rained, then the sun came out, then it stormed. At the Arizona and New Mexico border, the moving truck had to take a detour on to a state road because of a train derailment that caused the I-40E to be shut down. Heading into Texas from New Mexico, there were reports of tornadoes that had touched down. All this to say that the Team went above and beyond to trek through some craziness while ensuring the safety and security of our belongings as well as staying safe on the road themselves. When we finally arrived in Texas, Jett and Jose got to our new place before we did. When we got our keys and opened the doors, they got right to work offloading the truck and moving our things in. Again, they moved quickly and efficiently, despite the humidity. Before we knew it, the truck was emptied and boxes were placed where we asked them to put them. We honestly could not have asked for a smoother move. Jett was quick to communicate through text with updates. Everyone on the Team was extremely courteous - I even had to ask Thomas to not address me as "sir". If you're looking for the cheapest move, Seven Brothers Moving isn't that, but if you're a believer like I am, that you get what you pay for, Seven Brothers Moving cannot be beat. Highly recommended. I initially contacted another moving company for an interstate move from San Diego to Las Vegas. The bid came in very high, and I was told by that company that there were "additional fees" for interstate moves, making the price much higher than expected. Then, just 3 days before my scheduled move, that company called and tried to more than double the price! leaving me in a total panic. I reached out to 5 STAR Moving Company, and the owner, Craig , responded immediately. He was furious when I told him my story.
