    Absolutely abysmal service after the sale…read more Both the tub (Hot Springs Grandee) & more recently the cover (SmartTop) were purchased through this retailer. All spa servicing has been through them as well. Thus, it's not like we're unknown to them. Those are both big ticket items. And yet, we're treated as if they're intentionally blowing us off. Michelle, when she responds at all to repeated inquiries regarding a faulty installation (18 months ago!) , she does so in monosyllables. As if she simply can't be bothered. Her colleague Jeri, who ostensibly schedules the service visits is scarcely better. We have been summarily back-burnered. Thus, the reviews you read here are very telling. Very telling indeed. I don't generally write bad reviews, but feel compelled to do so here in order that: A) By the grace of God, Scott takes some ownership of a situation that has involved the SmartTop manufacturer (who has sent parts repeatedly to Spa & Sauna), the manufacturer of the *struts* that the manufacturer sources, and Spa & Sauna themselves, and B) that you, dear reader, don't become the next poor schlub that has to deal with this retailer. They are quite simply the least caring outfit I've EVER dealt with, and they ought to be ashamed.

It's took us over a month of calling to get the to fix. Why don't you call people back? Now the spring on our cover broke. We called and was told someone would call back. And again no call. We went to the store and took the broken part. The sales person accused us of breaking it because we were too rough? How is pulling it down after a use too rough? Then we were the covers were not included in the warranty. Thats not what they shared with us at the time of purchase. Then the sales manager in the store told us the manufacture has a year warranty. But we would have to wait for a call to fix. Do Not Waste Your Time Making a Purchase Here. They could have made this right by keeping their promise.

    I believe they are tying their best but so far the service has not been great or what I had be…read moresold. Let's start with the positives: the initial process of setting up the opening of the pool was easy and responsive. I work crazy hours in the hospital and they were very accommodating of my work schedule. They have been accommodating to send people/techs there when asked. Thank you for that, it's much appreciated! The items that could be worked on: 1) Follow up communication. It took two to three weeks for them to complete the pool opening, we had many visits with techs where they stayed for 5 minutes and promptly left. We were not given updates or told what happened. When I spoke to the friendly front desk staff person on the phone today I was finally told that what happened was the techs had to leave as they "ran out of time. Which is why there were frequent visits." 2) When I initially signed up for these services, I had asked if I could meet with the techs to learn about the proper ways to manage and care for the pool. I was told this was not a problem and they could set this up. Unfortunately, this never happened. 3) When the pool was finally opened, we still noticed a fair amount of debris and dirt. The clarity of water was also questionable. We called and were told this was the "best they could do and the pool was ready to use." They noted that the equipment sometimes brings debris into the pool. 4) The condition of the pool had since gotten worse and I had to have a family member call while I was at work yesterday to see if we could get an emergent service as the pool was becoming green. A tech was dispatched, when I got home I realized the pump was turned off. We had no idea why it was off or if we could use the pool. No one had called or left a voicemail. It wasn't until I called this morning and asked about what was going on that I was notified that could be an issue with the skimmer, filter, or pump. There were no issues with the skimmer, filter, or pump when the pool was initially open. If there were, no one had told us. 5) Lastly, through all of these services I was never given an itemized bill for services or contract to sign. While not a finalized quote they estimated that opening would be roughly $1800 which is significantly more than what I was quoted. I expect even more cost now for possible diagnostics and repairs. You can look through my previous reviews of all local businesses, I try hard to find the positives. I also gave a lot of trust to this group because of other reviews and relied on their expertise. Unfortunately my interactions after the initial chat has not gone well.
