    Dan had a hard job with my pool but he wouldn't quit until it was crystal blue! Very communicative and very thorough.

    I wasn't going to leave a review but since Mike the owner responded back to my husband's review…read morewith a bunch of lies, here I go! Mike mentions that my husband is rude to Mike's wife when she comes to service our spa. We aren't even here when she comes! She just goes directly in the backyard and does her thing. Are we supposed to pop out back whenever we do happen to be here and have a chit chat? That part of his statement just cracked me up! Then he said something about our son cancelling his service? Well, we knew nothing about that until right now so thanks for the head's up! Simply stated, our water was getting continuously cloudy so we texted to see if he had any ideas and he blamed it on us being dirty people (yes, he actually texted me that! And no, we are definitely not dirty people!) and then said our neighbors were probably using the tub when we were gone (umm, definitely not in this gated community and with our cameras). Anyways, we looked back at our cameras after his outrageous text messages to see what they did in the last two services and never once was our water checked. He now says (in his response to my husband's review) they don't have to test water - um, ok? Lol! Even when it's been cloudy and having problems? That seems professional. I've included screenshots of our ENTIRE text conversation (including where my hubby called him an a$$ out of frustration) - I don't think they uploaded in the correct order but you can still piece it together. ‍ Honestly, people - stay clear of this company. Wow. Just wow!

    First, I appreciated how easy it was to get an estimate (flat rates listed on the website actually,…read morewhoops I should have checked) and communicate here with Mike. We set up an appointment and he was extremely prompt - and texted to let me know he was on his way. I wish everyone was as excellent and quick at communicating as Mike is! Second, and mainly...I bought this house from a DIY guy who did everything, including installing the hot tub, incorrectly. Mike pointed out alllllll the safety issues with the electrical, of which there were many, and told me he couldn't clean the spa, it was too risky. He offered great advice and didn't charge me even though he took the time to come out and look - which I SO appreciated! I mean he probably saved my life and for free. I would not hesitate to call/text/yelp dm Spa King for any and all hot tub related needs and I am so happy I know who to call now!

    I believe they are tying their best but so far the service has not been great or what I had be…read moresold. Let's start with the positives: the initial process of setting up the opening of the pool was easy and responsive. I work crazy hours in the hospital and they were very accommodating of my work schedule. They have been accommodating to send people/techs there when asked. Thank you for that, it's much appreciated! The items that could be worked on: 1) Follow up communication. It took two to three weeks for them to complete the pool opening, we had many visits with techs where they stayed for 5 minutes and promptly left. We were not given updates or told what happened. When I spoke to the friendly front desk staff person on the phone today I was finally told that what happened was the techs had to leave as they "ran out of time. Which is why there were frequent visits." 2) When I initially signed up for these services, I had asked if I could meet with the techs to learn about the proper ways to manage and care for the pool. I was told this was not a problem and they could set this up. Unfortunately, this never happened. 3) When the pool was finally opened, we still noticed a fair amount of debris and dirt. The clarity of water was also questionable. We called and were told this was the "best they could do and the pool was ready to use." They noted that the equipment sometimes brings debris into the pool. 4) The condition of the pool had since gotten worse and I had to have a family member call while I was at work yesterday to see if we could get an emergent service as the pool was becoming green. A tech was dispatched, when I got home I realized the pump was turned off. We had no idea why it was off or if we could use the pool. No one had called or left a voicemail. It wasn't until I called this morning and asked about what was going on that I was notified that could be an issue with the skimmer, filter, or pump. There were no issues with the skimmer, filter, or pump when the pool was initially open. If there were, no one had told us. 5) Lastly, through all of these services I was never given an itemized bill for services or contract to sign. While not a finalized quote they estimated that opening would be roughly $1800 which is significantly more than what I was quoted. I expect even more cost now for possible diagnostics and repairs. You can look through my previous reviews of all local businesses, I try hard to find the positives. I also gave a lot of trust to this group because of other reviews and relied on their expertise. Unfortunately my interactions after the initial chat has not gone well.

    It took a bit of time, but other companies weren't even offering repairs without a maintenance…read morecontract. They had a good response time, found the problem, tracked down the parts, and made the necessary repairs to get our tub running as good as before. Ya, a little room for improvement. The service tech had to come out twice, but I'm not taking a star away for it bc he was honest and made it right without excuses or charging us extra. Only star i took away is over communication. I appreciate the quick replies when i reached out, but I would have been more appreciative if they were the ones reaching out to me. Just a little more proactive to keep customers updated. I'd recommend them & would call on them again (I'm hoping not to need their services again though!)

I purchased our large spa from Randy and team and have used them for the last…read more7ish years for supplies/service, etc. Had good service and response even though hours and location changed (that happens!). Love our Jacuzzi. Lately though, I reached out for a service and was advised they had made some staffing changes, and the new technician wasn't quite up to speed on a couple things. No worries. I had them drain and waited six months. I have called twice and left three different emails requesting a response...just want some maintenance. I haven't received any type of response either via email or call. That seems unusual for them, and I am concerned. Having said that, will need to call someone else. I hope all is ok.
