When I first called them, he came out and showed up when he said he would and did the initial dump & scrub on the spot. The best thing of all is that, if not the owner, he had someone come out and service the spa, every other week, as promised! Let's start with the positives: the initial process of setting up the opening of the pool was easy and responsive. I work crazy hours in the hospital and they were very accommodating of my work schedule. They have been accommodating to send people/techs there when asked. Thank you for that, it's much appreciated! The items that could be worked on: 1) Follow up communication. It took two to three weeks for them to complete the pool opening, we had many visits with techs where they stayed for 5 minutes and promptly left. We were not given updates or told what happened. When I spoke to the friendly front desk staff person on the phone today I was finally told that what happened was the techs had to leave as they "ran out of time. Which is why there were frequent visits." 2) When I initially signed up for these services, I had asked if I could meet with the techs to learn about the proper ways to manage and care for the pool. I was told this was not a problem and they could set this up. Unfortunately, this never happened. 3) When the pool was finally opened, we still noticed a fair amount of debris and dirt. The clarity of water was also questionable. We called and were told this was the "best they could do and the pool was ready to use." They noted that the equipment sometimes brings debris into the pool. 4) The condition of the pool had since gotten worse and I had to have a family member call while I was at work yesterday to see if we could get an emergent service as the pool was becoming green. A tech was dispatched, when I got home I realized the pump was turned off. We had no idea why it was off or if we could use the pool. No one had called or left a voicemail. It wasn't until I called this morning and asked about what was going on that I was notified that could be an issue with the skimmer, filter, or pump. There were no issues with the skimmer, filter, or pump when the pool was initially open. If there were, no one had told us. 5) Lastly, through all of these services I was never given an itemized bill for services or contract to sign. While not a finalized quote they estimated that opening would be roughly $1800 which is significantly more than what I was quoted. I expect even more cost now for possible diagnostics and repairs. You can look through my previous reviews of all local businesses, I try hard to find the positives. I also gave a lot of trust to this group because of other reviews and relied on their expertise. Unfortunately my interactions after the initial chat has not gone well.

Most recently, our tub broke down several weeks before renters were to arrive. Josh bent over backwards to support our non-Tahoe tub supplier in its effort to try to locate and fix the problem(s). After it appeared the supplier's multiple trips to try to fix the problems had cured them, the Friday the renters arrived, and at no fault of Josh, the tub stopped working again. Josh worked with me well through the Friday afternoon to try to identify the cause. On Saturday, Josh came running -- on a Saturday no less -- and fixed it. Our renters were ecstatic -- with snow heavily coming down that Saturday afternoon, our renters were thrilled to get in our outdoor hot tub and enjoy the entire snowing and hot-water-jet environment. It became clear through this process that Josh new better about what to do to fix the problems than did the hot tub supplier's service personnel. And his level of service was beyond superior through it all.

Love our Jacuzzi. Lately though, I reached out for a service and was advised they had made some staffing changes, and the new technician wasn't quite up to speed on a couple things. No worries. I had them drain and waited six months. I have called twice and left three different emails requesting a response...just want some maintenance. I haven't received any type of response either via email or call. That seems unusual for them, and I am concerned. Having said that, will need to call someone else. I hope all is ok.

Not only was Bob able to get my hot tub working within 1.5hrs, he epoxied back together a broken jet handle he found and screwed down a loose board on a separate deck on the other side of the house. He went well beyond the call of duty. From my initial phone call with Bob I found him to be very knowledgeable. He was quickly able to articulate potential problems and rule out others as I provided details on the problematic behavior. I'm a fairly handy guy who has unwillingly become knowledgeable in hot tub repair (I've fixed the tub myself a few times), and I can attest to his brilliance. I've also worked with 4+ hot tub maintenance / repair guys in the Tahoe area over the last 2 years and he's better than them all.
