Came in for a chipped windshield. Owner seemed nice at first, asked for payment upfront (groupon cost $39 for three chipped glass fixes) The worker spent about an hour on the car and wasn't able to fix. Instead of letting us know they pretended the work was done. When we started asking why it looked the same the owner got loud and rude saying we were complaining too much! When I told them they already just gave me a quote that said that's ok and they'll just do that. Then it took them more than 3 hrs to change one window. After they long excruciating wait they "repaired" the glass my window stop working. Long story short . Be aware of this business. A while ago, I had a pile of incompetents at Safelite install the wrong windshield in my car (so my camera wouldn't mount to the windshield and none of my safety features would work.) She took a one look, shook her head and immediately knew what to do. In a couple hours (ahead of schedule) it was done. Incidentally, going in person is a little easier than doing it over the phone. Great service and fast. Privately owned company, if you want to get your windshield changed before afternoon, make sure you drop it off early in the morning, as they only have the capability of working on 2 cars at a time. It gets really really busy on the weekends, obviously, so best to schedule in advanced. I brought in my rental car at 9am when they opened, had a crack from a rock over the weekend. I needed to return the car that afternoon, and they hooked me up and had the new windshield finished in 3 hours. Cost me about $200, which I'm sure would've cost about $400+ extra day's cost for being out of action to get repaired. Totally worth it and was so happy they got it fixed. Would recommend. read more

I went to this location and it was the Worst experience ever. There was one person helping everyone and checking everyone in. It took 4 hours. Not for the service itself but for the lady behind the desk that took my insurance and id to do my paperwork/receipt of service. She was not focused and literally took hours while continuing to tell me that the paperwork was almost was almost ready. When I did finally get the paper I was furious due to it only being one paper with very general information. I had to keep asking her to return my insurance and Id and provide me with a copy of receipt of service. Never go here if you want good service and you time to be taken into consideration. I will be contacting my insurance company. I knew this was going g to be a bad experience but my insurance company recommended the place. Never again. read more

Took in my Mercedes E350 for leaky windshield. I was worried that they would break the glass to reseal however they were able to save my windshield and reseal to perfection. They removed my windshield, did the proper cleaning and reinstalled everything. My car was broken into and the side back window was totally smashed. My friend recommended that I take my car to American Auto Glass to have it replaced. I'm glad I listened to her...in and out within four hours for under $200. I'd give them zero stars if I could. I went in to get a my driver window repaired, I thought it fell off track. It took the owner 15 minutes to to ask me what type of vehicle I had while someone else was there who could have helped me but he set behind the desk on his phone. She gives me a piece of paper and says put your info and your car info on here. Then she says it'll be $65 dollars, I said ok and paid her. She immediately lost the paper with my name and information on it but whatever. They find out that a piece inside the door is broken and the part needs to be replaced. It was late in the day and auto parts shops that would have the piece were closed, so I was told to come back in the morning. She asked for my cell and text me so she would have my number, mind you I gave this to her on the piece of paper she immediately lost. I wait around a bit the next day to see if they'll call me and I got no call, so I call her. She doesn't remember who I am or what my issue was, but says come down now so we can fix it. I show up and she doesn't remember who I am or what the issue is once again, then says they're busy, but there's only one car being worked on. I pull my car in and she goes to the tech working on it and then comes back to me and says we can't fix this, can't find the part. She never looked for the part. The tech looks at me and shakes his head. He then says I can't fix this the way it is, the part needs to be replaced. I have a lot of clients today but I can go get the part on Monday. The owner comes back to me immediately and says "OK", he can fix it, it'll be $350. So I ask how is he going to fix something that is clearly broken, you showed me, and he just said the part needs to be replaced. The tech looks at me and shakes his head again, then I ask to speak to him. She says "Don't worry about how it'll get fixed, he not the owner I the owner, either get it fixed or leave." Not wanting to cause a scene, I say keep the $65 dollars I gave you yesterday, I'll leave. She then calls me about 2 hours later asking if I still want to get the window fixed, if so she can do it for $250. I tell her I already found somebody who will fix it for $100. She ask how much, so I tell her again. Then she says "I'll do it for $100 come now", and hangs up in my face. I wouldn't recommend you go here unless you have no other options. Definitely search around first before going here. If the entire interaction would have made sense, I had no problem paying for the work to be done, but there was little explanation and prices being pulled out of thin air. read more
