The lady working the reception has very poor customer service. She's rude and is quick to argue with the customer. She has a really bad attitude and is not very helpful. Reply online with your price using the information I provided.....Apparently it doesn't work that way so contacted my long-term BMW mechanic for a recommendation and he gave me VAG... Called them at the beginning of the week and found out they would have to special order it bit I confirmed at the end of the week that I'd be there first thing Ssturday at 9am to get replacement Glass done VAG had the glass delivered, replaced, all broken glass vacuumed and replacement glass windexed clear in a little over 90 minutes I am very impressed with Vermont Auto Glass's efficient service and reasonable pricing I highly recommend them no matter what the vehicle you have!!! read more

HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU - CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! This place does not do professional work and they are decent at best. My rear passenger window has broken TWICE since they "fixed it". They charged me $180 the first time, broke within 2 months, fixed on warranty the second time, broke within a month, and guess what even though it is their fault ---NO MORE WARRANTY --- so not only am I out of $180 I am also out of a rear window because of these guys. My rear window was shattered by a firework, thanks random neighborhood kids, over the 4th of July. I called my insurance company and they said it didn't qualify to be covered 100%, but I could pay my deductible and they would replace it that day. Yelp hasn't failed me yet so I looked up glass places. I found this place and made the call. They were less than half of my deductible and could do it asap! In my eyes, the rest could be wasted on food or another homebrew! I headed over and was greeted right away. I told her I would just leave my truck there and come back after some errands. Came back and talked with the polite owner and told her the story of how my window was broken. She laughed and told me her incident during the same night. I happened to glance over and saw that the technician was cleaning the inside of my truck and the actual bed too! Talk about service! The pricing is great and it's owned by great people. I went to VAG Vermont auto glass to have the locks on my front doors changed on 3/272023 (Monday). The lady that assisted me was Irene. She said they would check out the problem and get back to me. The total cost of the job was $300.00. She told me that I had to leave a deposit of $150.00. Four days had gone by and I didn't hear from her. So, I contacted them and she said that they couldn't find the parts. She could have called me to let me know that in advance. She could have also ordered the part from the Toyota dealer. Once I told her that she said my vin number would be needed in order place the order. At this point I was frustrated because, I was having a hard time closing my door and had already waisted four to five days trying to get this taken care of. I told her jus to refund my money and I would go elsewhere. When, I went back to the shop she didn't refund me all of the money. And stated that it was a fee for the inspection of my car which she never mentioned in the first place. I would not recommend this place to anyone not only did I not get my car fixed and it was a waste of time dealing with this company. read more

I'm a teacher in Santa Monica and had to go back to work in my classroom before the start of school. When I came out to my car to go pick up my daughter, a rock had been thrown through my window and smashed glass to pieces all over her car-seat. I called AAA to get a quote and all the places they work with could not fix the window until the next day. I needed to drive safely with my daughter that day. I was referred to Vermont Auto. They came to me within 2 hours, fixed the window beautifully and were $40 less then all the other quotes I received. One sunny day in beautiful southern california, my leisurely drive was ruined by a small pebble that caused a crack in my windshield. Due to my laziness, the small splinter eventually extended across from one end to the other like a lighting bolt. Being the cheap person that I am, I started calling bunch of shops in the yellow pages and this place happened to be the cheapest. Workmanship was more than adequate (supposedly lifetime warranty on labor) with good service (they had to get mine from another shop but did it in good time). I took my car there so I do not know how much more they would have charged for at home/scene service. The South central location is why it gets the 4 stars. read more

A large palm frond fell on my windshield and shattered it. I called Vermont Auto Glass around 9:10am, they came to me to fix it, and everything was all said and done by 11:25am! I visited this hell hole when drivers side window started to jump track, seemed to be a simple problem. Put it back on track, right? Not according to them, I was charged $80 dollars, great deal right? Not after burning gas & being late to work. Then these beer drinking fellas(10am sharp!) Then they told me they didn't have the part, so it had to be ordered. It took numerous visits & 3 weeks, the last visit left me with a Better Business complaint letter & a brown handle from their junk box of leftovers(my car is blue) & a window that rolls up 98%! It's great when it's raining, not! The manager/owner was always "on his way". And, always appeared after I left. We finally met, he was all in my face, dismissive & rude. The repairman looked like he has been up partyng all night & developed amnesia, so everytime I visted I had to repeat the story to him then he'd send me to the cashier who'd call he father/owner. They even refused to pay for the damage to my door. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Apparently repeat business means nothing to this establishment. I won't call it a business, because they didn't handle business. I phoned yesterday (6/22) to schedule a mobile appointment and was told they would be here today (6/23) between 10am and 12pm. At 11:40am I phoned for ETA and was told the service tech had been dispatched, was on his way and would be there right at 12. I phone again at 1pm. No answer. 1:05 no answer. 1:10 Why??? Because there is no tech! Finally reaching someone I am told "uh yeah, he won't be coming. He broke the windshield at his last job and he just walked off." WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH MY APPOINTMENT??? When asked was I ever going to be notified of this "cancellation" she smartly replied, "I just got off the phone". GTFOH! I tried to do repeat business. I tried to support local business in the hood, but this is a prime example of why I don't. Go elsewhere if you need glass repair/installation, because VAG will definitely leave you in a lurch! read more
