bought an automotive frame machine on eBay, and the shipper is this company. Order placed on 7/19/2024, picked up at the seller on 7/22/2024 then transit from Huston TX to Seattle WA. First delivery date estimated was shown as 7/29/2024. Nothing happened, checked online and showing transit delayed. Finally it arrived at their warehouse at my city Seattle, they attempted to deliver on 8/13 without calling me in advance, but I was on cruise ship, so they took it back to warehouse. After back home I called them to schedule delivery twice, but nothing showed up on the scheduled dates, no follow up phone calls or text message or anything , just like nothing happened to them. I rescheduled the third time by calling them for 8/23/2024, nothing happened again, no call, no truck came. On their tracking website it shows 'out for delivery'. ....This logistics company is a bad joke. You can't even find their local branch office's phone number on their website. Like most (all?) other people posting reviews, we didn't willingly pick this company, but had them thrust upon us by the company we bought from (Costco). We ordered a bedroom set, to be delivered and set up. Delivery was set for a Friday and both my wife and I took time off work. An hour before the delivery window, we get a call saying they can't deliver that day. Rescheduled for Saturday. A couple hours later, another call, and rescheduled for Monday. More time off, and Monday afternoon we get notice that it's been delivered. Uh, no? And naturally, at just past 4 pm, their office is closed. So we're left with another day without a bedroom set, wondering if some random person is amazed that someone delivered and set up a free bedroom set for them. read more

Hard lesson learned about CEVA: their logistic is unable to handle partial delivery. Never sign for a partial delivery! 1. Once you sign for a partial delivery, they will enter to their system and Amazon's system that the item is delivered, even though the delivery crew knew they still have the other package in their warehouse/dock. 2. CEVA's internal communication system is broken. You contact them, the office lady will email the dock team. The dock team will ignore it for 48 hours then ask "what piece are you looking for". The undelivered package is probably 48"x96"x12" and about 1000lbs (a storage shed, total weight about 2000lbs) which is hard to get lost. Nobody in CEVA cares about finding it or solve the problem. The only option left to the customer is to return the partial delivery to Amazon. Everyone's time and effort will go to vain. read more

I receive multiple reminders that my shipment will arrive between 9am and noon on a specific day and I need to be there to accept. I take the day off work and the truck shows up, but it seems that someone forgot to load my shipment. HEADS UP! EVERYONE WHO HASN'T RECEIVED THEIR DELIVERY ON THE DATE THAT IT WAS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE, LOOKUP "homedelivery.cevalogistics.com" The expected delivery date is inaccurate! I had to learn the hard way that you need to schedule a specific delivery time for them to actually deliver your item. I called their number twice and after 30 rings each time, it hung it before I was able to leave a voicemail. It's really upsetting because both, this shipment company and company I ordered items from never notified that you need to schedule a specific time period. If you don't schedule a time, they'll never bring it to you! When they do come during your appointment time, they will call ahead by 30 minutes. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is that the delivery guy was nice and helped us carry the heavy shipment box up the stairs onto our porch. read more

CEVA office import staff are negligent. Attempts to coordinate elements central to the logistics of a pair of containers from Japan via Korea for Seattle were un-acknowledged by CEVA until dates for (moving goods / steamship release / customs release / etc) had passed. And always after requesting an update. As delays compounded and associated fees mounted there remained zero sense of urgency and factual errors in the disposition of containerized goods. Management should provide remedial training pronto on operations and principals from Process Management / Project Management / Supply Chain Management. Rigid process support support intelligent order of operation integral to logistics. But miscommunication and missing communication is unacceptable and rigidly sequencing tasks always a day after a prior task was completed is COSTLY. Inept when someone else is paying the bill - nice gig if you can get it. I suggest you take you logistics business elsewhere. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We delayed the funeral of our nephew based on the delivery timeframe of the casket. As the date approached, I noticed no updates had been made on the tracking sheet. I spent hours on the phone calling CEVA attempting to get confirmation of the delivery date/time. The agreed upon delivery date and time came and went with no casket and no explanation as to why it wasn't delivered. The family was so upset and we were put through so much stress and aggravation wondering how the funeral could proceed without a casket. It was simply cruel how no one cared. It was finally delivered but of course we weren't called by CEVA to let us know. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS-it simply isn't worth it! UPDATE: Not only did the casket arrive late, but it also arrived damaged! CEVA accepts no responsibility or reimbursement for this and Amazon provided only minimal refund. Horrible company but used by Costco which is the best. Have a return they are suppose to pick up. They called and left a voicemail with a phone number. The phone number didn't work so I looked their main number up. After calling it multiple times and it just ringing I called Costco who got me in touch with them. The person I was handed off to by the nice Costco person was not friendly and rude. Left me on hold for 20 minutes to come back and tell me someone would call me back. They did call back giving me a four hour window. What a low budget operation. We use freight carriers and I will make sure we never use them. I never thought that I would ever purchase furniture online from Amazon, but I could not walk away from the awesome price (over 60% off) and free shipping. It did not matter that it would take a few extra days for shipping so I just went on my merry way. A few days later I went to check the status of the shipment and noticed that the sofa would be delivered via Ceva Logistics. I never even heard of this company and had to do a little digging to see what they were about. What I found out I did not like and I knew that I had to be proactive in regards to this order. This all started when I checked the tracking data on their site and it said: "Invalid Contact Information." How can this be when that information was on my order? I called customer service and the service representative I talked to was quite nice and I set up a delivery date with an 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. window. I also placed a follow-up call to let them know that deliveries needed to be made at the back of the building. I was told it was no problem and that I should let the driver know when they call and to expect that call about 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Fast forward to the day of delivery: I ended up calling around 2:20 p.m. to see what the status was and was told that the delivery guys were held up on another delivery and to expect to hear from them in another 30 minutes. It was about 20 minutes later when they called and they were already at my place! Costco has used this service twice to deliver large items, one in 2016 and one in this week (2019). My experience is definitely not as bad as some others', but can't say that they're good. They missed their time windows for both time. For the first time, no one showed up and no call. I had to call two or three times to check what was going on. They ended up delivering my item in the same day, but four hours after the promised window. For the second time, I got a call in the last 5 minutes of the delivery window, saying that they'd come in 30 minutes. They didn't show up until 60 minutes later. read more

At some point during CEVA's handling of a very nice bedroom dresser, a beautiful piece with a wire-brushed finish to make the woodgrain very textural and 3-dimensional, but still quite smooth, which we really liked, CEVA Logistics or CEVA Freight management, managed to destroy it. They must have backed a forklift into an upper corner of the box, because it arrived on a pallet with lots of high-density, heavy duty Styrofoam and protective wooden planks inside, surrounding the corners (especially) and edges that protected the dresser from falls - but not from a careless forklift operator. Despite all of that protection, the people at our Amazon northwestern delivery company, CEVA Logistics and CEFA Freight Management,(which have a 1/5 star rating in 65 yelp reviews), still managed to demolish it. Repackaging it was a huge pain in the you-know-what, because of its size and weight. Because latent damage is always a possibility, so you might need to repackage it, I suggest, when your shipment arrives from CEVA, that you turn the box upside down and cut open only the bottom of the box, then turn it right-side-up, being careful that the flaps stay folded outward. That way, you can lift the intact box (which you would need to send it back) off of the dresser with the dresser already right-side-up. read more

I updates my address several times and still they were trying to deliver it to the wrong place. Unlike other people I did get my order delivered in the window but 20mins late. I ordered a heavy gazebo from Costco 8 business days ago and it shipped out of CA to Seattle. Ceva's automated call called me the next week and gave me the option to select the first available delivery date which I selected for the next week (day after holiday 9am-1pm.). I did have an option to select another day/time but didn't need. The guys showed up just before noon and were kind enough to haul all 5 heavy boxes to my back yard. All boxes were free of any damage. They were professional and polite, petted my dog and were gone in less than 10 minutes. This was my second delivery from Ceva (fire pit table from Amazon 2 years ago ) which also was delivered exactly as promised and no issues. read more

This is regards to Air Bill # AZN0192408 that was delivered on February 23 2019. This was the second delivery I have taken that CEVA delivered. The first time was a little over a year ago and I can't tell you how wonderful that experience was. The two delivery guys (one mentioned he was an immigrant from Ethiopia were high energy, customer focused and we even shared some jokes about Trump. But then today happened. First of all, the two delivery guys didn't even want to deliver the package as they thought the sofa was too large and wanted to drop it at the front door and bail. I explained that the sofa was only 76" long and that the box was simply over sized. I suggested we unbox the sofa to reveal it's real size and it would be easier to get into my apartment. Not only was it possible to deliver it they were able to get it into the elevator for delivery. They gripped under their breaths about having to deliver the sofa and then just dumped it into the living room and left the building. Amazon verified that CEVA was supposed to take the packaging from the delivery with them which they left in the lobby of the apartment building and left the front door of the building open as well. I ordered an item that was being shipped by CEVA (not my choice). At first the process seemed smooth, I was called to schedule a delivery date. But on that day nobody showed up. When calling back to CEVA to inquire, nobody picked up the phone despite numerous calls, waiting for many rings. I finally rescheduled the delivery after calling the vendor. For the 2nd date, nobody showed up again. I was contacted to reschedule a third time. For the third date, nobody showed up. Nearly 3 weeks after the original delivery date, I have been unable to schedule a new delivery time. Then I checked the tracking and it says the item was delivered! But I never received it! First delivery the dresser fell of the back of the truck and they tried to deliver it to me. Second delivery hasn't happened yet and the item. Unfortunately this is not a business you choose to work with, but one that you're stuck dealing with if you order a TV from Amazon. They're the third party Amazon uses for delivery and I wish they would use a better one. We had chosen our delivery window and it was 9:00am to noon. Not bad, stay at home for the morning and get it done. Nope. Waited and waited and waited. 1pm rolled around and they had not shown up. No call. Nothing. So we called them and they said they came by at 9:30am and no one was there so they brought the TV back to the facility and left a "we missed you" note to reschedule or whatever. WHAT? How could that be? I didn't hear a knock or find a note at my door. Did some sleuthing and it turned out they had tried to deliver to the neighbor's house, not ours. And yep there was the note on THEIR DOOR (and they were out of town). You'd think that if the only thing your business does is deliver stuff to homes, they'd be pretty good at finding addresses, reading maps, that sort of thing. But they suck at it. Called them back and they said they'd be back for another try late in the afternoon. 6pm rolls around and no one shows up and I have a dinner reservation with a friend in town for a short time and I'm pissed because we're going to be late for that now. We call them and this time they're lost in the wrong neighborhood. Everyone in Seattle knows that the East/Southwest/Northeast etc at the end of your address is important and failure to pay attention to that can land you miles from your destination. Well, they ignored the East part of my address and wound up somewhere in the CD instead of Capitol Hill and were knocking on the wrong door (again). How a delivery company fails at finding my house twice in one day is beyond me. We had to give them turn by turn directions and they finally showed up (really really late). The "white glove" service that is supposed to include TWO delivery people to deliver and set up the TV turned into just one delivery person. Guessing the other guy clocked out and went home by then. So I had to watch this older gentleman heave-ho a 50" TV up my stairs by himself which made me very nervous... both for him and the TV. This is my first bad experience with amazon... all because of a shipping company! I'll preface this by saying my order details made no mention of this third party shipper, so when I rec'd a message from a giggly girl at Ceva saying "call us back to schedule your delivery for your order from Home Depot", I thought it was a scam. Especially since my order was thru Office Max. The next message she left said "we have your order from Office Depot". Ding ding! OK, now I know this is a legit call and she just means Office Max. I call back and am told I cannot request a specific window of delivery. I need to choose a day and the driver will call me 30 minutes in advance. And no weekend deliveries. Whoah. My work schedule is not flexible enough for this! I tell the young lady that I must call back after I find a time that can work. When I try calling back, there is no answer and NO VOICEMAIL. Yowza, what business doesn't have vm? I try 10 more calls at different times. I kid you not, I really needed this product and was on a deadline for it. After the 10th failed attempt, I had to cancel my order thru the seller because now I must find one locally. And that's when I get a reply call from Ceva. I explain that I had to cancel and when the same young lady said "fine, we'll ship it back to Office Depot", I said "you mean Office Max, right?" It took 2 weeks (4 day estimate) to receive my delivery, but that's not even the problem. They NEVER called me to schedule a delivery. Instead, I had to call TWICE to even get the delivery scheduled. It was finally delivered 10 days after the estimated date of delivery. I live in a condo in Seattle. They pull up to a parking lot near the condo, and drop it off, and tell me they can't help me carry the 110" projection screen (rolled up into a long box) to my condo... which is just through the door, on the same floor. I tell them it's difficult for me to open the two doors in the entryway and pull the 10ft long box in myself, and that if this were a home, I'm sure they'd be required to at least deliver to the front door! And the guy tells me 'I only paid for the basic service'. So... the 'basic service' doesn't even cover delivering a heavy 10ft box to your front door? What do you have to drag it down your entire driveway up to your house yourself? To be clear, I didn't pick the shipping. The company I bought it from said they'd ship via UPS or FedEx, but I understand the package may have been too large to ship via those companies (which, by the way, always deliver to my front door). So I said: 'can you just help me get it through the first 2 doors of the entryway?'. The guy's like 'sorry'. This isn't even anywhere near the front door of my residence, so clearly this has got to be wrong. Luckily, the 2nd guy with him, a much quieter but clearly nicer guy, offers to help me. He helps me get it through my entryway by holding the doorways open while I pull it in. Then I walk it all the way to my front door, and then into my house. Just as nice people, they didn't have to act this way, though I thank the 2nd guy for at least helping me out. This shipping company was annoying to deal with. I got a call giving me options for my orders delivery. I chose 1-4 on a Sunday. By 1:30 on that Sunday no one had called to let me know what was up. I called them, and the phone rang 20 times before anyone answered. The guy who did answer was out of breath (lol), and told me that the delivery guy was ahead of schedule, and that he would be there before 5. Well, what happened to the 4PM cut off time? He claimed that I was told 1-5. Sigh. So by 5:20.... the delivery guy calls. Telling me that traffic was bad and that he had 23 deliveries to make that day. (Traffic map showed green..) They never contacted me in anyway and reported they had tried several times. This company has rude customer service and lie to blame a customer for their inadequate delivery service. I have been waiting for my item to be delivered since April 12th, it is now April 23rd and I was told they cant even schedule my delivery until after the 25th because they are too busy. Well then why did they take on the work if they can't deliver Amazon PRIME customers orders on time. A complete failure in the contract they have with Amazon. Zero stars, the single worst business I've ever had to deal with. 1st delivery attempt of Murphy bed - 4 hours late of the delivery window. No call, just showed up at 6pm at night. Murphy bed clearly damaged during transport. Sent it back. 2nd delivery attempt of Murphy bed - Scheduled delivery with Ceva Logistics office. Ceva No Show'ed. Rescheduled for next day. 3rd delivery attempt of Murphy bed - Delivery was made 3 hours after delivery window was scheduled. No call, just showed up whenever the driver wanted. Delivery was received undamaged. We then ordered a matching cabinet for the Murphy bed. 1st delivery attempt of cabinet - Scheduled delivery with Ceva Logistics office. Ceva No Show'ed again. Rescheduled for next day. 2nd delivery attempt of cabinet - Driver showed up 1 hour after delivery window. No call, just showed up when it was convenient for them. Package showed damage to the box and driver got angry when I wanted to inspect the contents of the package prior to signing the 'received undamaged' box on the paperwork. He got angry to the point of yelling at me in my own home. I asked him to leave my house. It was getting volatile. I made him wait the extra 5 minutes while I finished inspecting and then signed off on the delivery. Would have been less time had the driver just stopped bullying me and allowed me to complete the inspection. Hands down the worst logistics company I've every dealt with.
