Worst, rudest service ever. Manager would rather ignore you than help you. His English is nearly unintelligible. His favorite line is. "WaIt over there." All I wanted was a piece tape to finish my business. There was no one behind me. He just went about carrying boxes into the back room. It would have taken 5 seconds to satisfy me. I was a first time visitor to the Auburn, WA UPS store to ship 3 items. The service provider went out of his way to do as little as possible. He provided miss-information on how to scan in the items. When i asked for help he insisted he was correct. He came over and then found out he was incorrect and didn't apologize. Instead he cleared the scanner's display and told me to start over. Then he explained he usually requires that items be placed by the customer in a specific location and pointed to the location, but said this time only he would accept them from me directly if i brought them to the desk. My next trip to a UPS store i went to a different store (In SeaTac) and they did an excellent job. I don't know, the person at the Auburn, WA location is the either the wrong temperament for the work or perhaps over worked. UPS is not helping themselves as a group by putting this person in a public facing position. read more

I'd like to thank the young man who stepped up and showed me how to do an Amazon return properly.. it wasn't difficult by any means, but there is still a process involved and I felt so silly being a Gmama & not knowing how to do that completely. He was patient and kind. Store is always very clean.. Can you leave 0 stars man I would give a negative star review if I could. I have never been treated so badly as a customer but this isn't even about me. When I was there a woman in a wheelchair came to the door and was struggling to get the door open the owner just stood behind the counter and watched. When I realized what was happening I went over and opened the door for her so that she could get in and do her business. I don't know what is wrong with this guy but he has some serious problems and seems his customers are very much a bother to him. I don't understand why a someone that hates people so much would even want to own a business. read more

I really appreciate how he went above and beyond for my big game console wrapping job and he gave me a wonderful discount! I brought in a wooden rocking elephant toy to be shipped from WA ST to OH. I paid to have the toy packed and shipped via freight. They took the toy and built a box from spare boxes I guess. They then threw the toy in the box with no packing material to cushion it at all. The 60 year old, hand made and hand painted toy was broken upon arrival. see pictures below. This is the absolute WORST ups store in the area. It must be a prerequisite before being hired there that you're inherently miserable, angry, rude and of course painfully inept. I've had the misfortune of going to the Auburn location on several occasions out of necessity over the past ten years and that location just never improves. Aren't you embarrassed or even remotely ashamed at how horrible you are? Obviously not. It sucks to have to leave such a scathing review, but frankly, you earned it so there you go. I have had to do two return items. I never do returns but Xfinity and Amazon had me do a UPS return. I don't know what I am doing but the guy at UPS is extremely patient, kind, and helpful. My returns were immediately acknowledged by both return businesses. I will always return to this UPS store near my home. read more

The gentleman who owns/runs this Auburn store has no idea about the importance of the customer. If he is, lets say stack packages or organizing something, he won't stop what he is doing to serve the customer; no he has to finish what HE is doing, making the customer wait. Went to drop Amazon package at this UPS store today. While up at the counter the gentleman working today at 10:30 AM informed me that I needed to tape package or that I would be charged. I understood and respected that, left to purchase tape and returned. This time there was a long line. The package was taped and as I waited in line I realized there was still a previous shipping sticker on package. So as I WAITED in line I quietly picked at the sticker to remove it. I was then the very NEXT person in line when the same gentleman said "you can't do that in this store." I said "remove the sticker? Is that bothering you??" And he responded "yes. You can't do any sort of packaging in the store." The package was already packaged and I was simply working to peel the sticker away while leaving no trash. He then turned me away from the store. Wow. Perhaps this store needs customer service training or employees who are not sensitive to someone removing a packing label. The gentleman used a nice tone... but still? read more

This store takes advantage of people, paid for a label to and from for a package. The return label was not in the box when it arrived. Had to pay again to return. Went to the store to get a refund of the unused label, no refunds, can not refund. This gentleman is so rude and takes advantage of people. The package was a flat rate USPS Priority Box and would have cost $21.70 each way. UPS rate $40.89 each way. That is some surcharge and then to lose the label? This place needs a new owner. Do not use this location. The owner didn't ask me who my return package was for and directed me to a self serve kiosk. When I got home I looked at the receipt and my return was going to Amazon, not the retailer I was returning my item to. When I called the owner he said he could not help me as I had scanned the package. What a joke. All he needed to do was ask me for the package information and grab the package out.
