Worst Ceviche "EVER!!!!" Completely tasteless, I think they didn't even add lemon to it, never again

Service is OK - Food Is OK - it's pretty clean. But the greed kicked in - as a business owner I would NEVER charge extra for a peace of bread that cost them around $1 A message to the owner - Give more and receive more Sorry but you lost a customer and it only cost you $1 read more

Bad food, bad service. The food can not be compared to the Peruvian Food. No flavor at all. While you wait for your order they give you bread from that day before, hard to eat. read more

Have only had take out from this place so can't talk much about the service. They are always helpful and pleasant when I am picking up my food. The arroz chaufa, causa de pollo, jalea mixta, tallarines are all excellent. I can only think of one bad meal and that was probably a fluke. Wow!! We ended up here randomly and I'm so happy we did! This place is adorable! At first glance from the outside it looks like a hole in the wall, but it would be disrespectful to call it that. The place is small, yet cozy. Very clean and inviting. But what's really great is the food & the service!! To start we had the Ceviche de pescado, yummm! It was the real deal. Fresh fish, real lime juice and a little spice. We also ordered the Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos which was so delicious and full of flavor. And then we all (there were 3 of us) shared the Jalea mixta for one. Wow, Wow, Wow! The fried fish in the Jalea was perfectly cooked and tasty! Everything tasted great! All the flavors were on point. Now service was just as great! Our server's name was Janine. She was so nice and so helpful, and most importantly she knew what she was doing and took very good care of us. You can tell she's a hard worker because even when she wasn't at our table she was either cleaning or prepping other things for service. Great server, serving great food!! I walked upon this restaurant and fell in love! I order from here all the time. Its quiet, the service is good, and the food is amazing! The restaurant is family owned, and they are very humble. The calamari is one of the best Ive had, crispy, cooked correctly, and served on top of fried yuca that is unbelievable. Ive had the Saltado de pescado so many times because I cant get enough, and the lomo saltado is great too. Ive visted with my grandparents and mother who have had a steak and fish (forgot which one sorry) and I had a bite of each, mmmmm :) Highly recommended! Eat Happy! read more

Grilled filet of fish with mushrooms was awesome. Lomo Saltado is also a delicious classic. The ceviche was pretty good but had a bit too much vinegar for my liking. The sangria was fantastic, next time I want to try the aqua frescas. The cuatro leches cake was awesome! read more

We ended up in this hole in the wall due to the restaurant next door having an hour wait. Hmmm Peruvian restaurant empty on a weekend ? Odd but we still decided to stay. I got the bistec a lo pobre and what a disappointment that was. I've had Peruvian food in the past and was nothing like it. First, I ask for my steak well done and they gave it to me medium rare. I cut two pieces of the steak to see that both pieces were medium. I called my waitress over and ask if they can cook it well done. The reason I'm writing this review is to make everyone be aware of the dangers we face while eating some seafood we order take out yesterday two Chaufa beef rice Ceviche Mixto and Papas Huancaina I have been a customer of this place before and the food is good never had a problem but not yesterday my daughter in law picked up the food and once home we served everyone my son and I started to eat to Ceviche when I noticed my son chocking at first I taught he was joking because he is one but I saw his face turn red then blue and he drop in the kitchen floor to his knees I knew something was wrong I immediately did the Heimlich maneuver and after a few pushes he was able to expelled a piece of Squid that still had the plastic on I'm not blaming anyone just want everyone to be cautious when eating Squid if they are not clean well this could happen and the plastic is really hard to see I attached a photo to show how dangerous the plastic is please be mindful not only when eating Ceviche but Squid in any way read more

We are not at all Peruvian but we do know our ceviche and this was delicious. We also had Parihueal Mixta (seafood soup). Both spectacular. Huge portions. Stumbled in after a day of bike riding in the Everglades, were heading back to Pompano and stopped for gas and the Publix at the strip mall. We were starved. We've been in Florida for two months and this might have been one of the best restaurant meals we've had here. We've eaten at some very nice places. This was fabulous. The service was great, it is a little mom and pop place. Good Peruvian beer to accompany a very nice meal served by very nice people, for a good price. Try it. If it wasn't an hour south and we are headed north, we'd go back. Still might. It was that good. read more

Just get a lighter and burn your money. It will be the same outcome if you eat here. Mixed Ceviche looks like it came out of a bucket. It had no taste, so I cant describe it. I mean not even the taste of lemon, water yes. Was handed mayonnaise mixed with ketchup as their picante? For real? No clue as too take care of a business. Not even a Peruvian beer is stocked. Thats all I could bear. Have no idea why someone would come to eat here. By the way, unless you have eaten in Lima, Peru, you have no idea what ceviche really is supposed to be. Amazing service is a understatement. The entire staff is attentive and work together to make sure you have everything you need. We are currently hooked on their fish on the grill! Don't forget to ask for the green spicy sauce, but caution the serving. Very Spicy! Dinner roll are also addicting. definitely something to watch for so you don't fill your self on bread. The last time I ordered the arroz chaufa it was way too greasy and the rice was hard. I also ordered papa a la huancaina the last 2 times and it has no flavor at all. I think I'll be driving to Aromas Del Peru from now on because their food is always amazing. read more

Ordered delivery. Received food spilling from containers. Ordered Jalea mixta for 2 and barely received 4 shrimps and 3 pieces of fish along with a handful of calamari. Called the store and was told by Janine that I could either get a refund and they would come pick up the food or they can send another but they would still pick up the one the originally sent. Janine was incredibly rude and refused to put a manager on the line. I always ordered from there before and was surprised by my order this time that's why I called it in. Did not except to be treated so rudely by Janine. Will never be placing any more orders from here. read more

I just moved to the area. Being Peruvian I was thrilled to have a Peruvian restaurant so close. I tried the cebiche the first time, took awhile, figured they were making it fresh, but i was wrong. Old, bad cebiche. Thinking it was a flux i.tried again. This time i ordered the anticuchos. They were so rubbery and hard, i could not eat them. Had my dog with me and she wouldn,t eat it. Could not exchange or return them. They didn,t even have Peruvian beer. Never again!!!! What a shame read more

Ordered delivery over the phone. Great service and very quick. A little steep. But worth trying. The lomo is not great meat. They used steak flank not tenderloin. And being a proud Peruvian you can tell the second you open your tray. The flavors were not all there. It was actually their huacatai (green sauce) that saved the plate. But definitely not the best. All in all I also had the tallarines saltados and tallarines verdes which just tasted more like canned basil and some mix they threw together. I would recommend this to someone in the area but not worth more than a 10 minute drive. read more

Mixed ceviche was very bland, the lime juice tasted very watered down. The roasted corn tasted pretty stale. The quantity of the mixed seafood was good but, I'd trade quantity for quality. Definitely at the bottom of the list for ceviche restaurants. read more
