    Lomo Saltado

This cozy, hole in a wall spot has been my go-to for authentic Peruvian food for over seven years. Being half Peruvian, I can be pretty particular about the flavors, but this place never disappoints. Today, I ordered their weekday lunch combo, available from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The combo includes a Aguadito soup (not pictured), a main course, and a soda. We chose combo #2 and combo #4. Combo #2 features Lomo Saltado, a classic Peruvian dish that's always a winner. It's a savory beef stir-fry with onions and tomatoes, served with rice and French fries--a 10/10 dish I recommend to anyone new to Peruvian cuisine. Combo #4 is their take on pesto pasta--rich, creamy, and absolutely indulgent. It's served with a fried potato and steak. I opted to have the steak grilled instead of breaded, and it paired perfectly with a refreshing Inka Kola, Peru's signature soda. To finish off, we had Picarones, the Peruvian version of donuts. While I can't confirm their authenticity, the flavor hit all the right notes. This restaurant is affordable, delicious, and consistently delivers. I always leave happy and satisfied!

We came back to Ceviche Inca we just love the food here. We invited our friends Jose and Javier to dine with us. Our waitresses Betty and Sharon are terrific so helpful and nice. We had the churrasco and the corvina fish and also the crystal light beer and the dark beer. Even the chef and cooks are friendly they are a family. When the staff is happy they cook with love. Come visit this restaurant in Hialeah.

Ok, legit tucked in Hialeah, this Peruvian restaurant is indeed a gem. The service is always great and their food is fresh and delicious. I love chupe and the chupe de camarones is a must. Plus it's gigantic! You can share it for sure. Also please get the conchitas al Parmesan. Not only are they pretty to look at, but delicious to eat! Their menu is extensive, so I have to come back and try the rest our!

Was in the area with my fiancé trying to figure out what to eat. So of course I used the Yelp app to find something in the area, I had never seen this restaurant before and got in the mood for ceviche once I saw the photos. We were welcomed right away and there were plenty of seats available. It's a small venue so I would not recommend it for large groups. My fiancé ordered a ceviche de corvina and I got the ceviche mixto. The prices were very reasonable and both tasted excellent! We will definitely be coming back.

I was hopeful because usually the holes in the wall are the best spots. Unfortunately our experience was a bit disappointing. The ceviche was very fishy. And the aguacate relleno was melted cheese with slices of avocado. I was very confused. Our favorite part of the meal was our beers.

Moments before I dove into this Leche de Tigre-- absolute refreshment on a hot Miami day.

Talk about a true hole-in-the-wall This is my third time dining outside of Ceviche Inca-- Whenever I travel around Hialeah, this restaurant is a must-stop-shop! I've always come for lunch because they have wonderful multi-coarse meals to offer for $8.99. Today I started with this wonderful Aqüaditito de Pollo soup, followed by a super limey & refreshing Leche De Tigre-- chilled & perfect on a hot day. My main course was a crispy Pollo a la Malanese that comes with a refreshing house salad & French fries. You would be able to choose which ever two sides you wish! *Options are always good!* A perfect ending to any meal is a bit of sweets. To conclude this lunch hour-- I enjoyed a couple of lightly battered donuts with a sweet maple & cinnamon syrup. YUMMMMM!! The ladies taking care of us are always so pleasant & full of great recommendations. Taking into consideration the COVID health precautions taken by restaurants, Ceviche Inca does well reassuring their guests that safety guidelines are being met. I can't wait to be back!! :)

The best ceviche I have ever eaten. Good service and very good quality food you can find here. I ordered a curvina ceviche and I thought it was great.

You know those hole in the wall restaurants, the ones that are no frills or fancy decor, just a small place with amazing food? Yup Ceviche Inca is one of those places. Now full disclosure, I go to this place several times a month. The reason I always go back is because it is the best Peruvian restaurant I've been to. Peruvian food is really popular right now (at least in Miami), and yes, there are a lot of restaurants around town that offer more extensive menus and fancier offerings in Peruvian fare. But those restaurants are a lot more expensive and for less than $15 you have a top notch entree at Ceviche Inca that rivals any of the fancy Peruvian restaurants around town. Because I go here so much I have tried most things on the menu and everything, I mean everything is good. Some standouts for me is the Churrasco with Pesto Pasta, Arroz Caufa, Jalea Mixta, Tequenos and los Tallarines con Lomo

Absolutely amazing restaurant from hospitality, food quality and price. We tried the Ceviche Mixto, Leche de Tigre, Jalea Mixta and their Peruvian beer. Everything deserved a 5 start. If you happen to be near Hialeah and wants some delicious food, stop here.

Location: It's located in a small shopping center in Hialeah, not ideal for parking so be prepared to wait for a spot or park a bit far and walk over. Service: The waitresses were SO SWEET. We told them that it was our first time there and they gave us so many suggestions and helped us out a lot. Ambiance: It's a small hole-in-the-wall type of place. It has a good amount of tables where you don't have to wait a while to be seated, but if you have a large party it might take a bit of moving around some tables. Food: It was just what I needed to feel a little bit closer to home. The food is so reasonably priced and some of the plates are worth so much more than what they charge you because of the amount of food they give you! I highly recommend this place, you won't ever regret coming here.

We really had never tried Ceviche before, but the online menu really looked spectacular. Our waitress was Angie, and she was fantastic. It's actually disappointing that we are just passing through and may never go back, because I would seriously like to try every last item. Rather than bore you with the list of everything we ordered, I'll share what we considered to be the best of the best. CALAMARI... we both love calamari, and we have eaten this dish at many different places. This was the best ever. Perfect. CEVICHE DE SALMON EN CANASTA DE TOSTON... seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. While we did order both the ceviche camaron and the ceviche trio mixto, the hands-down winner, no questions asked, was the CEVICHE DIVINO. We finished with the TORTA DE CHOCOLATE and the smoothest, creamiest cup of coffee ever. My wife is a chocolate cake expert, and while I was finishing all the ceviche, she was having an out of body experience with the cake. I have to say that while we are borderline foodies and love cooking and eating, we probably are not the most adventurous. So glad today was different, and so thrilled with our decision to eat here. 10/10

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
