Normally this place is a hit, But today was a miss. The salmon fried rice was lacking a bit of flavor. The potatoes in the saltado were extremely salty. They did seem a bit short staffed on this random Thursday so I'll chalk it up to that . I still love this place just an off day but the drinks were still delicious.

Ceviche Point, where have you been all my life?? We went on a Friday for lunch. It was sooo good. We started with yummy Peruvian beer and fried yucca fries. Lunch entrées were perfect. Don't forget to ask for their delicious green sauce that has a nice kick to it. Just order more beer if it's too spicy for you, lol. Service was fantastic, parking right in the front, and prices are reasonable. $85 for all. Can't wait to go back. Go check them out!!

I adore Peruvian food and my favorite restaurant shut down recently (probably because of a lack of business due to COVID-19). We decided to try Ceviche Point because it is in one of our favorite plazas (with Doris's Market and New York Market--a great Asian grocery store). The eatery is small and not at all luxurious. It seats about 16-20 at basic tables. You scan a QR code for the menu, or the waiter will bring a handheld device for you to view what is available. There was no ceviche appetizer, so we ordered a fish ceviche meal and shared it as an appetizer. While my husband liked it, I thought the chunks could have been thinner because the fish was not melting in my mouth, and I found myself doing a lot of chewing (or spitting out chunks I could not chew). He had the lomo saltado; I had the pollo saltado. I wanted tacu tacu but it was not available on the menu and the server offered to make it. I was a bit leery, so turned down his offer. I did not want the french fries and my server offered yuca fries instead. Great. Thanks! My chicken was a bit tough. Tasted like white meat that had been a tad overcooked. But my husband's beef melted in my mouth. (I am not a red meat lover, but next time, I plan to order the beef.) The meals were a tad too salty (too much soy sauce) and I mentioned that to our server, who seemed to welcome the critique. The place seems to be a mom and pop shop with only about three people working there. I even saw our server go out and come back with what looked liked groceries or meat in a few plastic bags. It was $66, including tax and tip, for dinner for two. (We did have the ceviche dinner, which was not huge, as an appetizer. So, in essence, we had three entrees.) Service was super friendly and attentive. And it is one of the reasons I gave the review four stars (really wanted to give it 3.5 stars but there are no half stars), and part of the reason we will try this place again.

Stop by for lunch and was surprised We ordered the lunch special lomo saltado and it was pretty good size and flavor. Surprised me that it came with enpugh meat qs other Peruvian restaurants use more onions and tomatoes yo makenit seem like it iw enough food. The fish ceviche was bigger thqn mostbplaces and had great flavor. Service was ok nothing to brag about, but it wasn't terrible. The place is small om the inside. They have a lot of parking spots as they are located inside a plaza with other restaurants and businesses.

A good Peruvian spot to go to. I'm Peruvian and I can say that although they are not the best, their dishes are satisfactory to get a good grade from me. I am also a good eater and get peeved when I'm served mini gourmet sized portions and pay entree price but leave hungry. This was not the case here. They serve pretty good portions to make the cost of their plates ~$20 average worth it. The lomo saltado is made with filet mignon! Not all Peruvian restaurants serve such good meat in their Lomos so that's a big plus. It is my favorite dish here. Their fish ceviche has good taste and good amount of fish pieces. The chupe de camarón is a seafood based soup with shrimp and was agreeable with a good portion too. I've never seen the place too busy and agree that it's typically on the quiet emptier side. There's a nice patio area in the back if you want to enjoy good weather. Service has always been friendly and nice. Jonathan was our server tonight and he was great and even brought out some good sauce suggestion. Overall satisfied with the visit! PS Bring fuzzy socks if you get cold easily, their AC is on blast!

This is truly a hidden gem of a Peruvian restaurant. Everything was tasty and made fresh. Plenty of parking and pleasant servers.

Nice location but not my place to go for Peruvian food. Dishes were not bad in taste but there are better places you can go. Chaufa plates and ceviche were good, the lomo saltado was not up to par. The menu is extremely limited, not sure if it's because of covid but wish to see more dining options. Wish the appetizer was better served in appearance but portion was good considering its an appetizer.

Hubby came here once and liked the ceviche he had, so we were back. I had Tallarin Saltado De Mariscos. It's mixed seafood sauteed in a wok with onions, tomatoes, chopped cilantro and spaghetti in a reduction of soy sauce and white wine. The mixed seafood had 4 middle size of shrimps, many small piece of squids, I asked to swap out mussel with shrimp or squid. The flavor was too salty to me, too much soy sauce. Hubby liked his dish, Pasta Macho Con Camarones. It's shrimps and spaghetti in a Peruvian creamy sauce made with roasted peppers, aji amarillo and parmesan cheese. I tried a bite, tasted good. It's very creamy, I don't like creamy food, so one bite was okay to me. Lots more shrimps than my dish! Service was okay. They have outdoor seating area in the end of the restaurant, has a bar as well. Liked the clean and neat deco. They used paper made straw, good! We don't speak Spanish. Besides the names of the dishes are in Spanish, the descriptions are in English, very thoughtful, so we knew what we order. Would come back to try other dishes.

Hello All My Foodies & Yelpers! Where to start? Guess I'm gonna have to say right here! We are trying to find some great Peruvian food, this Hass to be one of the gems within sunrise! Tonight I had the pleasure of eating at ceviche point. When I go to a new restaurant and eat Peruvian food, so I always get the same thing. What caught my eye is how simple that the menu is. You get straight down to the point. I got the appetizer ceviche tiger fish! Can I say amazing. You'll see the photo in my review! The flavor and ceviche was totally on point. It was just like going to Peru and eating ceviche! The next thing I got was Sopa Pescado! Yet again, to my surprise, the fish and the fish broth with lobster infused flavor was totally out of this world! And the soup flavor was never lost. With every bite, there was something tasteful. I also like that they gave you a little portion of jasmine rice that you could dip a little of your broth on it. I will totally be back to add more to my yelp review, but to note this Hass to be the most cleanest and very customer oriented location. The service is phenomenal, and it is quite relaxing and not noisy within place. The lighting in the restaurant and the way it is set up is perfect for a first date. Thank you all over at ceviche point. Big shout out to Luis!!! He kept my food rolling and always was willing to answer my question if need be! The cook team did a amazing job also and made the food amazing! Now give the a try! Yelp it and Google review it! Share your travels here and photos!!!! Yelper Mr.B

There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

As odd as it is to go during the day and have brunch, I would say it is the move. You pull into a plaza where everything else is closed except for this business and say hi to the security guard stationed at the entrance of the place---at 11 AM---to walk into a lounge beautifully decorated with green walls, floral accents and a disco ball. It is clear that the majority of patrons come much later in the day, like after 9 PM, to get bottle service listening to a DJ or any other performer. This would explain why the air conditioning was cranked so high, to accommodate the bodies and electricity that would pack the place much later. Our server didn't crack a smile but immediately brought us water after we asked and rounded back twice to take our order. Like I said, going during the day when there are only about 5 other parties dining seems to be the move for prompt service and food preparation. The dishes came out super hot and fresh. The Creole Seafood Omelette ($26) was chock full of well seasoned shrimp and lobster and cheese, with a creamy roux on the side that was good to occasionally dip a bite into but wasn't necessary all the time. The potatoes that came on the side were just the right amount of crispy while leaving some heartiness to them. The Fried Chicken and Waffles ($26) included flavorful fried chicken with breading that didn't quit when you tore it or cut into it. The cool part of this dish is the choice you have of the waffle it comes with. The Cookies and Cream Waffles should be your go-to. They were topped with the chocolate cookie sandwich crumbles and a great homemade vanilla icing. For a Lauderhill establishment in an area where you really don't know of anything else happening, this place is worth a venture out for your brunch. I'd go back to try the other items and drinks!

Course one - Crab and avocado salad paired with Sparkling Cucumber Martini. The salad was a creamy mixture of avocado, lump crab, mango, and diced bell peppers on a bed of fresh spinach. Crispy tortilla chips was added for crunch. The martini was nice and light with a sparkling crisp taste. Course two - Scallop and shrimp scampi pasta paired with Lychee Martini. This was a very good dish. Nicely cooked shrimp and scallops tossed with all dente linguine in a light butter white wine sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the lychee martini which was sweet and absolutely delicious. Course three - Mediterranean salmon paired with Island Breeze Martini. This was a filling dish. The salmon was nicely grilled and topped with sautéed spinach, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, and pickled onions; served with Jasmine rice and grilled asparagus. The martini was well-balanced with the vodka and various fruit juices (mango, passion fruit, and pineapple) without being overly sweet. Course four - Mixed berry mousse cake paired with Strawberry Rose Sidecar Martini. Moist, decadent cake layered with berry puree and coconut anglaise. In my opinion, the martini was too strong for a light dessert. It would have been best paired with a surf & turf dish. The whole event was well put together by the pleasant staff who made sure each transition between the courses ran smoothly and the removal of the empty dishes and glasses, as well as refilling the water glass was done in a timely manner. I look forward to attending another event soon.

It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! This establishment has been Tamied™.

I would definitely recommend the poyoroki or the Lomo Saltado! Friendly waiter and staff, they told us about some fun events they have on weekends. Nice drink menu too with lots of options

From the start, we were promptly seated, and our waiter Mason was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable ordering. Having been to the North Lauderdale location before, we wanted to see how the Davie spot compared and it delivered. My sister had no idea what to expect, but she absolutely loved it. The fried shrimp came out crispy, flavorful, and not greasy, and the sweet potato fries with cinnamon butter were such a pleasant surprise. We also tried the crawfish, shrimp, and sausage in the Mr. & Mrs. Crab special sauce packed with flavor and consistent with what I've experienced at their other locations. Portions are generous, the vibe is relaxed, and my sister is already talking about her next seafood boil. There was one small hiccup we ordered extra corn and didn't receive it with the initial meal -- but the team was very apologetic, I wasn't charged, and it all worked out. The Davie location sits in a plaza, so parking is easy. The space feels open and spacious, and they even have an area planned for karaoke and private events. Overall, a fun, flavorful experience that I'd definitely recommend. Where food meets adventure, see you back at the table! IG: @shallonztable Review #1 - 2026
