Literally one of my favorites now. Queen is a phenomenal bartender. The lemon pepper wings were crunchy, but didn't have enough lemon pepper seasoning on it to my taste. Other than that, everything that I tried here has been amazing. I ordered the Garcia sausage over some Gouda grits. À la carte and I was not disappointed. The fruity pebble waffle is so crunchy sweet and yummy Do not miss the shrimp and grits and the salmon bites are a must try. The music selection is great and it's low enough to where you still could have a conversation. A few areas so you can take photos and Martin playing in the background. What more do you need. Shout out to the chef. They are doing great things over there.

Very dope spot. It's located in a plaza off Oakland just a few blocks from university. The outside of the building does not justice to what lies inside. It's decorated so vibrant, RnB music was playing. Music was a bit loud but after a while you get used to it. We had reservations for 12:00 pm and were greeted and seated immediately. Chris was our assigned server and she was wonderful. She gave us time to go over the menu. She was so knowledgeable and even advised on my selection for my wings. We started off with the $35 pitcher of strawberry mimosa. The drinks were hitting the right balance. We ordered biscuits- these were huge, warm and buttery. Very flaky! I then ordered the Krispy wings with the cheesecake French toast! This was like nothing I've ever had! The hot honey paired well with the wings. The Caribbean oxtail was falling off the bone- well seasoned and braised. The grits were creamy. I can't wait to go back to this spot!

Cute place, service ehhh maybe they need to hire more servers, there's no wine selection , food was pretty well seasoned and the mango pincher was good.

If you're looking for a place to have brunch tasty g spot is the place to be. The ambiance is nice and they have a DJ who plays r and b music while you dine. I went for a birthday brunch and they allowed us to decorate the tables. It was a large party but our server was great her name was Mari. Our food came out in a timely manner. I had the salmon and grits, it was so good i forgot to take a picture ! The oxtail and grits was another favorite but the table. Overall the experience was great, the owner was present and came by our table. She was also very nice and inviting and welcomed us back. I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu.

The food was overall good -- the wings and shrimp & grits were both delicious and flavorful. The seafood balls, though, were a bit overdone and lacked that fresh seafood pop I was hoping for. Service was friendly, and our waitress had a great attitude even though the wait was long -- nearly an hour just for drinks. The interior decor could use a little work, but it looks like they may have just opened this location, so I'm giving them some grace there. Once they iron out the timing and add a little more polish to the atmosphere, this spot has real potential!

Tasty G is definitely worth a visit! The food was absolutely delicious -- full of flavor and perfectly cooked. By far one of the best restaurants to go to in Lauderhill. Not only that but some of the best chicken wings ive had in a long time. The atmosphere was lively, and the music really set the tone for a fun, relaxed vibe. I actually went for a friend's birthday and they surprised her with a song and some cake. We all loved that! Definitely a place for a nice photo op as they have a designated area for you and your group to take pictures. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, but once the food arrived, it was worth the wait. Overall, a great spot for good eats and good vibes.

My sister and I went out for brunch. It was nice inside and I can see that this is a family business. Service was very good and the food was so flavorful and I could not stop eating. I had the French toast and it was delicious. The wings were nice and crispy and the French toast was soft and I love the cheesecake filling. My sister had red velvet waffles with wings and those red velvet waffles were to die for. Overall, I would definitely go back again.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but our experience was disappointing. Our visit was not a positive one. The service was slow and unorganized, the waitress seemed uninterested in helping us. The food was just average, yet priced as if it were a fine dining experience. For what we paid, the quality simply wasn't there. Overall, we didn't feelit was worth the money, and we won't be returning. The inside is cute, but the music was a bit loud for breakfast. We never got our coffee just excuses.

This place is such a hidden gem--I'm torn between wanting to tell everyone about it and wanting to keep it all to myself! Don't let the lack of trendy decor (no grass walls here!) fool you--the food is absolutely amazing. I've slowly worked my way through the menu, and believe it or not, everything has been delicious. If I had to recommend just one item, it would hands-down be the strawberry cheesecake French toast--unreal! And you can't go wrong with any of their lemonades. The service is consistently excellent. It's a small spot, so bring your patience, but trust me--it's worth every minute of the wait. You won't be disappointed.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful - decorated very nice. We ordered the fried catfish, grits and eggs. The food was really good. It was seasoned well and it was hot. Service wasn't bad but the waitress could've been more engaging and welcoming. Overall 4.5.

Hidden gem that you may miss driving by but once you're inside, it's like you're transported to a pretty forest garden. Very Instagramable decor and they have spots set up just for good photos. The staff is friendly and the food is good looking too. There's a full bar and a lot of good drink creations. They don't serve coffee though. Lemonade and juices are available. I tried the fried chicken and French toast. It was delicious. The chicken wings were lightly breaded, fried very crispy and seasoned well. Comes with 5 pieces plus 4 wonderfully battered pieces of bread. Everything was fresh and came out piping hot. The grits were buttery and smooth. My friend's omelet was a huge portion and the seasoned potatoes were amazing. Now I know why they're famous. Prices are a bit on the higher end but the quality is good. Will be back to try more.

I went to Tasty G's for the first time for a birthday brunch with some friends. The overall vibe was cool. I loved the music they were playing and it was chill and lowkey vibe. Other than waiting a bit too long for my paradise punch, it tasted delicious so the wait was worth it. I had the fried catfish with grits and it was delicious. It was Very flavorful and a good portion of food. I also liked how they had different backdrops for photo ops. Me and my sistas had a great time and I plan to return

I attended The Tasty G spot with a large group of my friends for brunch which can be a challenge for some establishments but the Tasty G Spot welcomed us with grace and flexibility which I appreciated! Every dish was phenomenal. I ordered the Seafood duo with fried catfish, blackened shrimp and grits. every single bit was succulent and delicious. I also ordered on the banana foster french toast on the side which wasn't too overwhelming with drizzle or toppings it was literally perfect. To top it off I enjoyed the paradise punch that tastes similar to strawberry Henessy. We also ordered the sliders, the chicken wings and strawberry cheesecake french toast. theOMG everything was so good my tatste buds are literally going through withdrawl as I type! Do yourself a favor and check this spot out ASAP!

There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

The lobster bisque had a flavorful, well-seasoned broth, though it was a little light and I would have loved some chunks of lobster to add texture. Ordering is straightforward: select your sauce/seasoning, spice level, and seafood. I went for the Chef's Pick - Crabfam Classic Seafood Boil, which includes 1/2 pound each of snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, served with two sweet corn cobs and two tender potatoes. I was here at the Plantation location to attend this month's 4-course Martini Madness Dinner. The restaurant was packed for a Thursday evening. Servers greeted those in attendance, offering each person a glass of ice water and complimentary bread as we awaited the first course. Course one - Crab and avocado salad paired with Sparkling Cucumber Martini. The salad was a creamy mixture of avocado, lump crab, mango, and diced bell peppers on a bed of fresh spinach. Crispy tortilla chips was added for crunch. The martini was nice and light with a sparkling crisp taste. Course two - Scallop and shrimp scampi pasta paired with Lychee Martini. This was a very good dish. Nicely cooked shrimp and scallops tossed with all dente linguine in a light butter white wine sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the lychee martini which was sweet and absolutely delicious. Course three - Mediterranean salmon paired with Island Breeze Martini. This was a filling dish. The salmon was nicely grilled and topped with sautéed spinach, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, and pickled onions; served with Jasmine rice and grilled asparagus. The martini was well-balanced with the vodka and various fruit juices (mango, passion fruit, and pineapple) without being overly sweet. Course four - Mixed berry mousse cake paired with Strawberry Rose Sidecar Martini. Moist, decadent cake layered with berry puree and coconut anglaise. In my opinion, the martini was too strong for a light dessert. It would have been best paired with a surf & turf dish. The whole event was well put together by the pleasant staff who made sure each transition between the courses ran smoothly and the removal of the empty dishes and glasses, as well as refilling the water glass was done in a timely manner. I look forward to attending another event soon.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! I would definitely recommend the poyoroki or the Lomo Saltado! Friendly waiter and staff, they told us about some fun events they have on weekends. Nice drink menu too with lots of options

The restaurant seats more than 50. It's sleek with lots of black and red (to match its name). Except for one other table, it was practically empty on a Wednesday evening. Our first waitress was friendly. She brought our beverages and took our orders. After that, we got a different young lady. She also was cordial. (But got a bit testy when I went to find her so we could pay the check and leave.) We got the smothered chicken, smothered pork, fried chicken, three beverages, and two desserts. Let's start with the desserts. The peach cobbler crust was a bit thick and the peaches tasted like they were from a can. The red velvet cake was mediocre. Definitely not specially made. Now the sides. The corn bread was perfect. The red velvet corn bread was a treat. The greens were good. The rice was soaked in gravy. The yams were way too sweet. The entrees were the standout. The chicken only comes in wings. Nevertheless, they were seasoned and fried well, had a light breading, and were meaty. The pork chops were moist and savory. The smothered dishes weren't really smothered and could have used some more gravy, which lacked onions. But that didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying them. Dinner for 3 with 3 beverages, 3 entrees, 2 desserts, tax, and tip was about $110. We hope to return and try the catfish, the turkey, and the liver and onions. P.S. A small group came in while we were eating and one of the diners was vaping. Isn't that illegal in restaurants? I was hoping the management would stop him. But he was there for about the last 15-20 minutes of our meal and continued to vape a few feet away from us.
