There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

As odd as it is to go during the day and have brunch, I would say it is the move. You pull into a plaza where everything else is closed except for this business and say hi to the security guard stationed at the entrance of the place---at 11 AM---to walk into a lounge beautifully decorated with green walls, floral accents and a disco ball. It is clear that the majority of patrons come much later in the day, like after 9 PM, to get bottle service listening to a DJ or any other performer. This would explain why the air conditioning was cranked so high, to accommodate the bodies and electricity that would pack the place much later. Our server didn't crack a smile but immediately brought us water after we asked and rounded back twice to take our order. Like I said, going during the day when there are only about 5 other parties dining seems to be the move for prompt service and food preparation. The dishes came out super hot and fresh. The Creole Seafood Omelette ($26) was chock full of well seasoned shrimp and lobster and cheese, with a creamy roux on the side that was good to occasionally dip a bite into but wasn't necessary all the time. The potatoes that came on the side were just the right amount of crispy while leaving some heartiness to them. The Fried Chicken and Waffles ($26) included flavorful fried chicken with breading that didn't quit when you tore it or cut into it. The cool part of this dish is the choice you have of the waffle it comes with. The Cookies and Cream Waffles should be your go-to. They were topped with the chocolate cookie sandwich crumbles and a great homemade vanilla icing. For a Lauderhill establishment in an area where you really don't know of anything else happening, this place is worth a venture out for your brunch. I'd go back to try the other items and drinks!

I worried they wouldn't start preparing our food until I arrived to pay, which would have defeated the purpose of ordering ahead. Thankfully, I trusted the process, and to my surprise, our order was hot, fresh, and ready when I arrived. My seafood boil was perfectly seasoned, incredibly juicy, and absolutely delicious. Tables come ready with disposable paper, bibs, and gloves, making it easy to dive into some messy, delicious seafood. The staff are attentive, service is prompt, and parking is convenient. I started with their mango margarita, a refreshing kickoff to the meal. They also have a full bar if you want something different. For appetizers, I tried the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The crab cakes were my favorite: light, crispy on the outside, packed with fresh crab, and free of heavy flour or doughy textures. Simple and straight-up delicious. The lobster bisque had a flavorful, well-seasoned broth, though it was a little light and I would have loved some chunks of lobster to add texture. Ordering is straightforward: select your sauce/seasoning, spice level, and seafood. I went for the Chef's Pick - Crabfam Classic Seafood Boil, which includes 1/2 pound each of snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, served with two sweet corn cobs and two tender potatoes. I chose the Mr. & Mrs. Crab seasoning, a blend of Cajun spice, lemon pepper, garlic butter, and plain garlic. It had the right kick from the Cajun, the zing of lemon pepper, and just enough garlic to tie it all together. The corn was juicy and sweet, the potatoes tender, and all the flavors balanced beautifully. If you're craving fresh, flavorful seafood in a laid-back setting, Mr. & Mrs. Crab Seafood is definitely worth a visit. Extras: Daily specials, lunch specials, and happy hour deals make it even more inviting. Happy Hour runs Sunday-Thursday, with $2 drafts, $3 house wine, and $4 house cocktails (open-5pm & 8:30pm-close). Lunch specials are Monday-Friday, 12pm-3pm. I was here at the Plantation location to attend this month's 4-course Martini Madness Dinner. The restaurant was packed for a Thursday evening. Servers greeted those in attendance, offering each person a glass of ice water and complimentary bread as we awaited the first course. Course one - Crab and avocado salad paired with Sparkling Cucumber Martini. The salad was a creamy mixture of avocado, lump crab, mango, and diced bell peppers on a bed of fresh spinach. Crispy tortilla chips was added for crunch. The martini was nice and light with a sparkling crisp taste. Course two - Scallop and shrimp scampi pasta paired with Lychee Martini. This was a very good dish. Nicely cooked shrimp and scallops tossed with all dente linguine in a light butter white wine sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed the lychee martini which was sweet and absolutely delicious. Course three - Mediterranean salmon paired with Island Breeze Martini. This was a filling dish. The salmon was nicely grilled and topped with sautéed spinach, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, and pickled onions; served with Jasmine rice and grilled asparagus. The martini was well-balanced with the vodka and various fruit juices (mango, passion fruit, and pineapple) without being overly sweet. Course four - Mixed berry mousse cake paired with Strawberry Rose Sidecar Martini. Moist, decadent cake layered with berry puree and coconut anglaise. In my opinion, the martini was too strong for a light dessert. It would have been best paired with a surf & turf dish. The whole event was well put together by the pleasant staff who made sure each transition between the courses ran smoothly and the removal of the empty dishes and glasses, as well as refilling the water glass was done in a timely manner. I look forward to attending another event soon.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago!
