Cajun boil is my teenage son's favorite restaurant! I must explain why. We have tried a variety of seafood boils over the last few years and Cajun Boil at the Broward mall has the best sauce. It's creamy, thicker than other boils, and packed with flavor. Now that we've had this, we can't go back to a boil with a watery texture. We also know that when we come to Cajun Boil, we are going to get our food in 5-10 minutes from ordering. It's amazing. They also use these large pans that keep the seafood hot throughout the entire duration of your meal. I was surprised that even to the end, our seafood were hot. Prices are high but what seafood spot isn't? We average $50/person here but the crawfish and crab legs are worth it! Highly recommend. read more

Great Place! I went in just because I was craving a good boil! It had other great reviews. So I gave it a try. I didn't know it had an all you can eat option and it was the way to go, call ahead and check the terms and times before you go to make sure it's within your time. They have plenty of options in the all you can eat menu. Two price options one including Crab and one including just the all you can eat options. The place is cute. Good music and was easy to find. When I learned of this place, I wanted to dine in for the AYCE but had to settle for take out solo dinner. I got the combo 3 with ultimate sauce, spicy, with potatoes and broccoli. The boil was double bagged and placed a nice reusable bag. Included bibs, gloves, forks, wetnaps, napkins. It was way more expensive than I've ever considered paying for seafood boil. The portion size and quality was definitely above par. I was so hungry that I thinking I could eat it all in one sitting but I ended up with some leftover. The boil is by weight. For my order, I counted just over 24 clams, 12 mussels, 12 shrimp before I started to lose track. The crab legs were very meaty and quite satisfying. Would order again or try AYCE! read more

This Cajun Boil is located at the mall with independent entrance. I didn't know they became a chain until I looked online for the Flagler location to show someone, which was the one I'd go to. When I found out there was one at Plantation, I was so excited! The Plantation location is just as awesome, it's much bigger, has a lot of seating, and great service. The food is amazing. I love the shrimp (both head on and without heads), clams, crabs, and blue crab fried rice. I like the lemon pepper sauce. I will always be a fan of this restaurant chain! read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Cajun Boil. I ordered two #3 Combination Meals for takeout, spending over $170 including the tip. When placing my order, I specifically requested that one meal be not spicy for the kids, the other be medium spicy, and I also asked for extra sauce. When I got home and opened the bags, both meals were prepared with the same spice level, making the "no spicy" meal too spicy for the kids to eat. To make matters worse, the extra sauce I ordered was missing as well. I immediately called the restaurant to explain the situation. Instead of offering to correct the order or provide a reasonable solution, I was offered a free dessert. I live in Parkland, and it's about a 90-minute round trip to the restaurant. Expecting me to drive all the way back for a dessert after they made multiple mistakes is simply unreasonable. Mistakes happen, but what separates a good restaurant from a bad one is how they handle them. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. After spending over $170, I expected much better. read more

This was a pleasant surprise tucked into the back of Broward Mall. Prices run the gamut of pretty expensive (lobster/dungeness crab) to quite manageable (crawfish, shrimp, clams, mussels.) Several wing options available, Crab cream cheese puffs not extraordinary, but not bad. Crab fried rice, garlic or shrimp pasta. We started our meal with the mozzarella sticks and fried crab cheese rolls. Both were crispy and creamy and served quickly. The chicken garlic noodles were delicious. It was kid friendly while being flavorful enough that my husband and I enjoyed it as well. The crawfish etouffee had all the wonderful Cajun flavors. It was spicy and rich and bountiful. They have drinks with alcohol but they're wine slushies, which was part of the reason why I opted against getting a drink. The food came out quickly and was thee perfect size. I chose the ultimate sauce and I got my spice level as mild but it def had a little heat to it. In MD when you get a seafood boil, potatoes, corn and sausages come standard. Here you pay to have those as add ons - other adds on included hard boiled eggs , noodles, rice and some other items. The flavor was immaculate and the price is worth it. A friend had the seafood gumbo. It tasted really good. I was slightly confused there wasn't any okra in it. I'm not used to that. I had the lemon pepper wings and the crawfish étouffee. Once again the taste and portion size was great but it was very thick. I'm used to a more gravy texture. The wings were outstanding. Go ahead and try those. My other friend had a boil. Huge. Maybe overpriced but everything was good except the crawfish. It was slightly overcooked. Nice, small quiet place despite its mall location. Hello maybe you have been wondering about whether this can be your new Cajun joint for all things seafood and spicy. I believe it can be! Won't lie. The service can improve a bit. Sometimes over the phone orders have been challenging and sit ins the staff can be a bit unaware. Has not discouraged me to come back cause that kind of service feels kinda standard relative to most South Florida restaurants. The food does have me coming back tho, it's not particularly special but hits all the Cajun satisfaction I look for. A good variety menu and they do 10% off for lunch! My friend and I checked out Cajun boil today. I have seen it several times when I have come to this mmall. We wanted to try something different and this fit the bill. The restaurant was not too crowded when we got here. Later on, the customers were piling in. Our server was very kind. I ordered the shrimp poboy which is humongous. I gave a portion to my friend and we both enjoyed it. It comes with pickles on it and that is not listed on the menu. The pickles had a great flavor. I also ordered fries and they arrived a few minutes before my po boy. They were piping hot. I had been concerned that they might cool off too much before my sandwich arrived. But luckily they were still very hot when my sandwich arrived. We started off with an order of handmade crab cheese balls. I think that is what they are called. They are basically flat crab rangoons. The ladies said they homemade. These were pretty good. These also arrived piping hot. In fact, all of the food did. The crab rangoons are not the best I've ever had but they were still good. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp noodle dish. I tried some and thought it was very good. That was saying something because I don't usually care for garlic. There are 8 large shrimp in this dish. Some of them are at the bottom so you cannot see them all. My friend enjoyed her meal but said that she wished there were more noodles. It did seem a bit small. I also ordered a can of Coke and she got Sprite We both said that these drinks tasted better than usual for some reason. They only offer them in cans. The food came out pretty fast, but you can tell that this food is not pre-made or anything like that. I will definitely come back here and will order my shrimp poboy and fries again. The best thing I could say about this restaurant is that it was very clean. I ordered a chicken over noodles sauce. The boiled chicken had absolutely no taste four or five pieces in there you could barely see between the noodles and the thick sauce . This is a local fave of mine. I need to go back and take more pictures. The food is sooo good, some of the best crab boil sauce/seasoning I've had yet, definitely in the area. I haven't dined in yet, only taken food to-go, but it's so delicious and I kick myself for not being able to always finish it. I usually order the lemon pepper wings, seafood boil w/ crab and head-off shrimp, with corn, sausage and potatoes. I grab a side of garlic bread sometimes, or I buy my own naan and dip it in the sauce. The staff has gotten much better. In the beginning the attitude was a bit off from some employees, but the owner (I think) is the one who mostly takes the orders now. She's really sweet and always a warm spirit. The place is never packed, but they keep making these little upgrades like this fancy tote bag in my picture, so I KNOW they make money bc this bag looks expensive lol. Stumbled upon this place because we were really craving some crawfish knowing it is not in season. And our craving was satisfied. We were shocked to find this place in the mall but very convenient and easy to find. But be sure to get messy. It's very nice and clean. Smaller than expected but they accommodated to our family of 10 very fast. No wait- always the best esp when we had a flight to catch right after. As for the food, I love that they offer combos so you can get a bit of everything and they had half orders too. The food came out steaming hot and fast- LOVED it! And how they place it in the tin instead of the bags- every better. This helped the messiness and keep the seafood stay warm with the sauce. As for the sauce, we tried the lemon pepper and the ultimate sauce and they are both pretty good- not as oily as other places. The spice level though is not very spicy- we got the fire and if it had more spice it would of been amazing. We also started off with the wings, and that had too much batter for our taste. Now the service- wasn't the best, our main server has no customer service or people skill. The other server was more helpful and nice. They had crab crackers but no forks and we had to ask for these. Located inside Broward Mall - Plantation, this is a great place to stop after shopping. We ordered a pound of headless shrimp and a pound of the green lipped mussels. Both the shrimp and muscles were huge! They have many types of seasonings for your boil but we went with Cajun mild. We absolutely loved it. Our waitress was the sweetest and she got bonus points for assuming my daughter was my sister. The decor isn't out of this world but it is a cute spot, with music playing.
