This is based on takeout*** Great vibe inside. Love the decor. Lobster ceviche is really good. Huge chunks in there and the flavor is great. The tortillas are really hard, difficult to eat and not very good though :( Ahi tuna was seared (not raw like I asked for) and the tortilla was burnt. Half wasn't edible... Coconut rice is sublime. Id go again but make different choices.

Ceviche's is every bit as charming and the food equally as delicious as when we first visited five years ago. Tonight we had the yucca frites and coconut shrimp tapas. My husband ordered arroz con pollo, and I had the frijoles y arroz. The portion was very generous - I have rice and beans for lunch tomorrow. We ordered the Spanish beignets to go, and they were fantastic. They come with berry compote. The service was wonderful, but it was very busy on a Thursday night! The bar stayed busy throughout our entire dinner.

Blackened scallops and pork belly with asparagus and cilantro mashed potatoes. Side of curry aioli.

Amazing spot! Would 100% add to the list of "must visit" places near Wilmington. Small place with a great ambience and very friendly service. HUGE shout out to the bartender Natalie who is so friendly and pleasant to talk to. She was amazing! We ordered the sangria and watermelon mojito to start- both fantastic and the mojito wasn't too sweet. We then ordered the niña ceviche and blackened scallops with pork belly dish. The real star was the scallops and pork belly dish. Amazing combination of flavors and each part of the dish was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone coming to the area.

Wow! What a great experience. I recommend getting reservations for dinner. I also recommend going with friends who like to share so that you can try EVERYTHING! Our table of four got apps and meals and shared it all. I'm not even a huge seafood lover and it was all so delicious.

This was our first time at Ceviche's. We joined some friends who have been here before. We started with drinks and the ceviche sampler - SO GOOD! I've never had ceviche before and was slightly hesitant (not a fan of fishy tasting things) and this was DELISH! I loved every bite including the scallops - which I don't normally like. I then had the coconut shrimp and beef empanadas. Both were excellent! Hubs had the special (pork belly & scallops) which was also just perfect! Service was prompt and allowed us time to chat with friends, and yet continued to check back in along the way. We will be back for sure! Also - the parking lot is small, so carpool when you can. They have great seating inside and out but reservations are suggested. The restaurant is just beautiful inside and out and everyone was so kind.

This is a family favorite for us. We came here all of the time before having our daughter, and we still love coming and bringing her. The food is so fresh and the flavors are incredible. The service team is knowledgeable and friendly. Whether you are snuggled up at the fun bar or seated out in the gorgeous dining room, it's a fun place to eat and hang out. Favorite drink: the pain killer Our Go-to food order: the jerk shrimp skewers and whatever the fish special is for the day and share!

Really beautiful restaurant that's close to Wrightsville Beach. They have a bar section and a dining section. We ate in the dining section. We got the guacamole trio. I thoroughly loved the butternut squash version. The others were good as well but lacked a little seasoning. I ordered the salsa as well and that added the extra seasoning I was looking for when I combined them. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. The chicken and rice was very well seasoned but the slaw just tasted like raw cabbage. I mixed it with the guacamole and salsa which made for a great dressing. My husband ordered a chicken empanada and brussel sprouts. He said both were really good. The staff were nice and the courses were spaced out well. We would highly recommend

Came here for the first time and had such a lovely experience. The restaurant is so unique and nice! The outdoor and indoor design is great, the service is amazing and so kind, and the food is even better! Started off with the Salsa Fresca and chips, which was SO good! Then for my entree, I got the Ropa Vieja, which was 10/10! The portion sizes were great and I even had some leftovers for later. Highly recommend this spot and will absolutely return back soon!

Reservations recommended this place gets packed, but definitely still has wait to be seating by the bar or at the bar and outside. The place is a small house with lots of hidden table areas to seat. We tried the ceviche sampler, empanadas with goat cheese, coconut shrimp, sancocho and all the desserts. I recommend sticking the original ceviche the others just not my pállate since I don't enjoy sweet with my citrus. The empanadas were good and the sancocho soup was good.

"Good Mexican with a twist near downtown Wilmington"…read more Came here on a Wednesday night for dinner at 6pm and were seated immediately despite it being a group of 5. The place was not very large but relatively full, so be wary of coming later unless you're OK waiting. The restaurant had a bit of a rustic look but clean & well maintained, and nice local art posted on the walls. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and a lot of the food was sourced locally. We started with a sweet potato- goat cheese "guacamole" appetizer. I split the Jefe's Arroz Con Pollo and the Carne Con Ancho with my son. My girlfriend got the vegan rellenos. Food came out in maybe 20 minutes. The ACP was very good but unusual. It came with a thigh and leg of chicken on top, and a big mix of flavors of food underneath-- coconut rice, black beans, pineapple salsa. Curiously no cheese. Very different from any ACP I've ever had. Overall, it was fine-- honestly, my son and I both felt it was too many flavors that overwhelmed each other. In contrast, the Carne Con Ancho was spectacular. The steak bits were cooked rare to perfection and absolutely melt in your mouth. The flavors of the arepa below it as well as the horseradish and other components blended beautifully and made for a wonderful dish. My girlfriend said the rellenos were nicely fried and the sweet potato puree was excellent-- a very hearty dish without feeling heavy. And we all also really liked the guacamole appetizer-- unusual yet delicious flavor (and no avocado). Price was fair-- this was definitely upscale, so not "cheap", but fair for what we got. Overall, I'd happily come back, and definitely would want that Carne Con Ancho again. I recommend.

We were greeted quickly upon arriving into Liliana's Colombian Restaurant and Bakery by an older gentleman, you could tell he has pride in this restaurant the way he spoke and helped with everything. The food, we order tostones for an appetizer. They were crispy, light, and simple. Could've used a bit of salt personally but the garlic sauce they came with really made up for it. So good! The steak had a ton of flavor, and the yellow rice was solid, though my family actually liked the white rice better overall. We ordered a mix of plates with yellow rice and fries, others with white rice and tostones. I went with the arroz con pollo (classic choice), and my youngest had the chicken nuggets and fries. Only downside: my meal came out about 10 minutes after everyone else's, which was a little frustrating but not warrant for complaints. Our waiter was really sweet, a tad slow checking in sometimes, but he was super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. He even got honey on the side for my kiddos nuggets. Odd request but it's a thing. A big surprise but we got a free choice of a pastry at the end, which was really nice. My kids picked flan and said it was light, firm, but still creamy. Not too mushy. In the end the vibe is very family friendly. They play Latin music in the background, but it's quiet and chill, easy to drown out and still enjoy. I would love to see this place flourish, I know they deserve it, there's a lot of love put into this place. If we're ever in town again, we'll be back.

Everything here is PACKED with flavor. We tried a little bit of everything -- empanadas, fried yucca, chicken, soup -- and there wasn't a single miss. Every table inside was completely full, so we sat outside on a beautiful day -- and even with how busy they were, the service was FAST. Our hostess was fantastic the entire time, super attentive and on top of everything. You'd never guess how packed they were based on how smoothly everything ran. The fried yucca was perfectly crispy, the empanadas were loaded and flavorful, and the chicken and soup tied everything together. Honestly, one of those meals where you keep saying "yo this is GOOD" after every bite.
