I've been here a few times and every dining experience has been consistently excellent! I notice this restaurant always offers some type of deal depending on the day of the week. This evening I took advantage of the 50% off enchiladas (Wednesdays), and I really enjoyed the food and service. Our waiter Augustin was very quick and attentive. The vaulted ceilings and upbeat Latin music additionally made for a pleasant night out. read more

First time coming to the Tustin location was excited to see how it compares to the Brea location! Came around for happy hour was seated very fast with attentive members of the team but they are really strict on being seated in the high top tables or bar for happy hour only con, whereas Brea happily accommodates that situation. Food: We love the Nachos, they're not your average chips, cheese and a few pieces of chicken on a plate. It's about 8-10 chips with enough cheese and meat of your choice on top, and still gives you a filling feeling. Tacos for happy hour are around 4.5$ pretty good choices & flavors to them. Carnitas comes with pineapple with on them very good addition flavor is great! Drinks: They're drinks are still great at this location bartenders are very nice as well, ordered a few margaritas that were great. read more

I really like this place, it is big, the service is fast and nice, drinks were delicious and food is really good, we order the tacos we tried them all and their flavor is really good but my favorite was the quesadilla with vegetables inside, OMG that was delicious. I saw the restaurant many times when I passed by, but it didn't trigger me to try. I thought it might be one of those bar food places where food is usually ordinary. Since it has very good reviews, I finally decided to give it a try. It didn't disappoint me, I asked myself why I didn't try it earlier. The sitting was good, not too loud, and I can have a good conversation with my daughter. The food was amazing. I tried everything as recommended by the service staff, they were all great! Third time coming back to cha chas, and my opinion is still unchanged. I am surprised with how this restaurant is rated so highly with how inconsistent the food is. We came into the restaurant for appetizers and drinks and was seated very quickly. I really love the service here, our server Yun in particular. I wish I could rate it higher, but the food truly is hit or miss. At the price point, you can get a lot of other Mexican food that tastes better. The chips and salsa that they give you for free is delicious as well as the many drinks, like my favorite, the Mexican lemonade. However, some appetizers and entrees are made poorly. The calamari breading is falling off, the tacos are cold, or there being half an unmashed avocado in the guacamole. Sure some of their dishes are delicious but with so much irregularity it makes this place three stars. read more

Redemption! After Krystal reached out to me in regard to the review I left about our dinner during OC Restaurant Week, she was so nice to send us a VIP card in order to come back and enjoy a hopefully better experience. And so it happened.... Kim was our hostess, was 100% on point, punctual and helpful. Our chilaquiles and enchiladas orders came promptly, were delicious and the two classic margaritas completed our meal. Omar came by to talk to us as well and actually followed us on our way out to hand me the leftover box that I forgot to take. Service to the highest level. We were seated next to the kitchen entrance which actually gave us the opportunity to connect with the staff. Awesome! The restaurant is still a fantastic hangout but it's advisable to not go too late to enjoy great service and not to have to wait long for your orders. 10/10. read more

I have been to Cha Cha's about 5 times. Ambiance is really nice and some days they have music. Food price point is decent and their drink selection is good. I went with a Mezcal Mule (not pictured) and the tacos for my meal. I went back and forth considering an app but the 13 dollar price point for the clams it made me want to try it. I enjoyed it but wish it had bread accompanying it versus the tortilla. The clam base was delicious. The kids meal were really moderately priced and both my picky eaters enjoyed it. Even my pickiest eater asked if we could return. Service was great and very attentive. The manager stopped by and asked how was service which we shared was great. read more

This is our second time here. And it was amazing both times. Our server was Miguel. He is so friendly and attentive. The food is fresh Service is quick, in the ambience is great, with a combination of indoor that opens to the outdoor. Highly recommend! First time here we have the carne Asada and enchilada combo, both were so good. This time we had the braised short ribs, which were a bit spicy and the roasted chicken which was 10/10, the side of veggies almost topped the chicken that's how tasty they were. read more

I went here on taco Tuesday and it was packed! They have happy hour at their bar and the high top community tables. There are great food and drink discounts during happy hour. But the best deal is for taco Tuesday that runs all night on Tuesdays. You can get three tacos and rice and beans for nine dollars! I got two chicken tacos and one steak taco. The chicken tacos were better but everything was great and Such a good price! We had great service as well. The only downfall, is parking. This restaurant shares parking with a few restaurants, and it can be really hard to find parking around, happy hour. But everything else was great and I will definitely be back. read more

We made a reservation about an hour beforehand on a Saturday evening. I was so impressed reservations were still available! We were sat on the patio and had a wonderful breeze coming in. No drinks for our group, but their complimentary chips and salsa was to die for! Chips nice and warm and salsa not too spicy. While we were waiting for our food to come out, our server Miguel came and apologized for the wait -- offering us a caesar salad on the house. It was such a nice gesture; we hadn't even felt like we had been waiting too long. As it turns out, our food came out at the same exact time as the salad but Miguel still put it on the house. Their rice and beans were perfectly seasoned. Each entree was cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was scrumptious! We can't wait to come back! read more

I came here on 3/30 with my mom and we had the best server and staff! FOOD was amazing! Drinks were good. I had to return with my hubby, so we went last Saturday. DISAPPOINTED and that is why I am giving a 3 star. The bartenders were talking to each other about another co worker (poorly talking). Were upset we asked about some of the food in the menu. We sat at the bar. Not sure if I will be back. I am all about customer service. If I do, I will def not be sitting at the bar but at a table like my first visit. Went to an early dinner at Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen in Irvine and ordered steak tacos, enchiladas, chips and salsa. There was ample seating inside and parking was not a problem on the evening we dined at the restaurant. The atmosphere was casual and fun although it became much noisier as more people came into the restaurant. The front staff hostess was fantastic and seated us quickly. Our waitstaff service was excellent, from start to finish. The steak tacos came in corn tortillas, with roasted salsa rice and red sauce. The steak in the tacos was seasoned well and pretty spicy with the red sauce on top. The cheese enchiladas with several cheeses, including Oaxaca cheese, were accompanied by tomatillo sauce and more Latin style rice. The chips were typical crispy chips with several choices of salsa. I thought the food was excellent. read more

We came here on a Sunday. They had special brunch for 29 per person (you ll get one starter and a signature dish). The service here was excellent. Everyone was so nice and friendly. They also had kods menu which was perfect for family. For appetizer I highly recommend the crisp shrimp and calamari. It was really good with the sauce. My husband got "fresh catch of the day" which was the halibut and it was great. I got the three tacos (short rib, shrimp and carnitas). They also have a large selection of drinks as well. Came here on a Friday night with reservations for a birthday dinner. It was busy and I overheard the wait time without a res being long so making one for the weekends seems like a good move. The hostess was accommodating on seating, and our server Carlos was amazing! We told him it was our first time there and he made excellent recommendations, and was very attentive. I got the three enchilada combo and my husband got the carnitas, I also ordered the sangria which was soo good! Carlos brought us all the salsas for our chips, when we asked him if they had spicy salsa, including the habanero which was soo good! Honestly I didn't expect much spice from salsa from here but the spiciest one did have some heat and the others had good flavor. It was OK. We got short rib capas and lunch menu 3 tacos. Not recommend the short rib capas. It was so salty. The tortilla layered with the sauce which make tortilla too soft amd falls apart. Texture was off. Not recommend the mushroom tacos. No flavor at for the mushrooms tacos. However, chicken tacos was good. Everyone in our party likes the chicken tacos. Mango lemonade was also good. Highly recommend. Skip hibiscus lemonade. They made lemonade with syrup flavor, hibiscus was not good. read more

The tacos came with rice and beans and the ingredients were very high-quality. I was so impressed and I was not even hungry. Only a 3/5 stars for service because the server was a little pushy. I had just come from a dinner and did not want to order food -- I was joining a larger group that was eating and ordering drinks. He told me that if I was sitting at a table in his section that I had to order minimum 3 tacos. I get it but at a 20 person table that was all ordering food and drinks, I think we brought in a lot of business. The place was very busy and popular and now I know why. My son and I meet here every so often, we both get the steak fajitas. It's solid Mexican comfort food. The chips and salsa are good, I prefer the green sauce. Free refills on the Diet Pepsi, the few times I have had a margarita they have been solid too. Outdoor seating when it's nice but you are facing the Tustin Marketplace parking lot and Irvine Blvd. Service is usually friendly and efficient. A solid place in Irvine/Tustin. Solid and no surprises. Recommended :-) read more

Came here on Cinco De Mayo just before 7, 5-10 min wait for two but bar area offered tons of seating. Some not even at the bar. Alls I'm trying to say is we got fed. Chips and guacamole were fresh, warm crispy chips with chunks of avocado in the limey guac. Cheese enchiladas came with some zesty Mexican rice. Texture profile- incredibly soft and mushy. Yummy beans. I don't know what it is about my ordering process.. but there is something to be said about a restaurant when the worst thing on the menu is still the best thing compared to anywhere else.. or maybe I'm just finding reasons to write a review; whatever the case, stay away from their sopés. The mushrooms and guac on top were *chef's kiss* yummy, but the fried masa base tasted and inhaled like it'd been sitting at the back of the freezer for some time, the perfect gastronomy infusion of classic freezer burn. A hockey puck slathered in delicious tower of sauce. It was inedible. I finished what i could but still managed to spoil the palette enough that it's seared into memory. The service was great. Everything else was speedy and it seems no matter where you sit there's great people watching. Definitely worth another try!! read more

This location doesn't taste the same as the brea location which was a bit of a disappointment even though it's ran by the same owner. My bf and I got the carne asada which was bland. I should have gotten the tacos instead or the enchiladas cuz it seemed more appetizing than what we were eating. Service was super slow and our food took forever to come out. Wasn't sure if they were short staffed in the kitchen but I think my bf and I will be sticking to the brea location from now on read more

I don't even know where to start. My family and I had a HORRIBLE experience here last night. It is still unbelievable to us how the owner here is running his business and relying on the so called "manager", who doesn't have a grain of manner, etiquette, or knowledge of how to be a proper restaurant manager. What happened during our dinner was shocking and I am still trembling with rage. I wanted to write a review so the owner can try to fix this issue before anyone else has any negative encounters with this manager (we didn't get his name but he is tall, has a big potbelly, hairy man with brown hair and beard). My parents took me and my friend to the restaurant around 10pm. They were going to treat me and my friend to dinner. Long story short, right after my parents ordered their food & drinks, my dad noticed he lost his wallet (which had a large amount of cash and many important credit cards) and so my parents panicked and left to go to our store to look for it. Around 10:45, our server asked if we needed a to-go box, so I decided to ask if we could pay for the bill with a manual card entry with my mom's credit card info so we can go help my dad look for his wallet. If they said they couldn't do that, then I was just going to call and let my parents know to come back & pay for the bill, or find some other way to pay. But then, the manager came being INCREDIBLY rude. The first thing he said was "so you guys going to pay now?" We were surprised by his attitude and so we tried to explain the situation. However, he kept interrupting us saying, "If you don't have money why did you come eat here?" and being extremely pushy saying "you know there's a bank across the street right?" We were shocked as there were still at least 5 parties left in the restaurant, and he could've been more polite and let us wait until our parents came back. But he was acting as if they were going to close the restaurant that second and we needed to pay NOW. My friend was so pissed she just decided to pay for it with her card, even though my parents were the one that was supposed to buy her dinner. After we paid for the bill, I called my parents and let them know what happened and the manager's rude behavior towards us. My parents were shocked & came back in within 10 minutes. When my dad came back & confronted him, the first thing the manager said was "I don't want to hear this. I am going to call security to escort you out. You paid for your bill & you don't have any reason to still be here." And later even said "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE." This pushed my entire family and I over the edge. The security came, and even the security acknowledged there's nothing he can do as we already paid for our bill and still had our drinks left. My dad was pointing his finger at the manager, asking why he's being such an asshole towards us, and the manager LITERALLY said that that was ASSAULT (wow, didn't know pointing a finger at someone was assault) and was going to call the cops. We said GO AHEAD. So the manager called the cops, the whole time sneering & mocking us while grinning with one of the servers working there (the server was a scrawny guy with slicked back black hair and dark circles under his eyes.) The cops came, and we told them the situation and the cops told us we can file a complaint with corporate and leave a review on Yelp, so that's what we are doing. (Thank you so much!! ) The cops even told us "I completely understand how you guys feel, if someone did that to my kids, I'd be just as upset." The manager outright lied and said he "never said those things" even though my friend and I CLEARLY heard him say it. At one point, my mom was using the restroom and the server with the dark eye bags told me to "get your mom out of there." I said, "she's peeing right now, she's just using the restroom. What, do you want me to break down the stall and force her out?" and he said "YES EXACTLY. GET HER OUT OF THERE." There is SO MUCH MORE to what happened last night, but I wanted to keep this review concise. I am still in complete shock as to what happened and the AUDACITY of the manager and that server to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS like that. We are going to find out the manager and that server's name and file an official complaint. We're going to do everything we can from filing a complaint to corporate to letting everyone we know not to visit this establishment. read more

We had reserved an indoor table due to the absence of online alternatives. However, upon arrival, we were dismayed by the unbearable indoor noise caused by loud music and echoing. The restaurant was crowded, with clattering utensils and shouting children. Consequently, we requested an outdoor table. The hostess, resembling a stern teacher, responded, 'You initially reserved indoors and now seek an outdoor spot. Unfortunately, we don't currently have an available table for you. The wait time will be about 5-10 minutes.' Notably, several outdoor tables remained empty, and two-thirds of indoor tables were vacant. I'm inclined to deduct one star for the inflexible demeanor. The waiter was friendly and polite. Despite some errors, the service was acceptable. --- Ceviche Sampler $16 - Includes shrimp ceviche & ahi aguachile: The shrimp ceviche's bold flavor and freshness stood out, while the ahi was tiny. Pickled carrots accompanied the ceviche instead of traditional accompaniments like nachos or lettuce, with the flavor being too intense to consume alone. --- Cha Cha's Margarita; $15 each: It resembled expensive cough syrup. --- Crispy Calamari + Shrimp $16 - Served with calabasitas, serrano chili, and lime-cilantro aioli: Unexpectedly, fried lemon slices with seeds were served. Out of curiosity, I took a nip. Curiosity does kill the cat. It's horrible. Their taste was unpleasant due to a mixture of acidity and bitterness. Most of the dish comprised fried vegetables, 3 shrimps, and 6 squid pieces (including 4 heads). While the shrimp was well-fried, the rest seemed like kitchen scraps. The watery sauce lacked flavor and fragrance. The dish should be renamed "Kitchen Scraps Tempura with Shrimp and Squid Heads." --- Carne Asada $32 - Marinated Skirt Steak with roasted potatoes, achiote onions, poblano peppers, and fresh chimichurri: The skirt steak was cooked well but lacked flavor. Although lightly salted chimichurri was present, the dish required more seasoning. The roasted potatoes were bitter and dry, with grilled cactus and cheese sharing the same fate. Surprisingly, even the margarita glass had more salt than the steak. The manager attributed this to the marination process but couldn't explain the lack of salt on the other components. What's your secret for marinating the meat? Alkaline water ? To enhance the flavor, I requested extra chimichurri and salt. The restaurant charging $3 for extra chimichurri seemed unjust, akin to a tourist trap. They tacked on an extra 3 dollars to the cocktails, as if we were diving into jumbo-sized drinks. But when we pointed out that we hadn't ordered the supersized margaritas, they unveiled their grand revelation: It's 3 dollars for the chimichurri sauce that was supposed to grace my steak. Despite my food lacking taste and salt, I wasn't seeking a redo--just an effort to rectify their mistake. Their response to charge for the correction was disappointing. After some discussion with the manager, they agreed to waive the extra chimichurri charge. This conversation shouldn't have been necessary. --- Churros: Small and chunky, with an unidentified object on the whipped cream--possibly a lavender or rosemary leaf. Mediocre overall. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere contrasts with the disappointing food quality, service mistakes, and questionable charges. Perhaps inflation has fueled greed in some eateries. Seafood plates are more vegetable-heavy than seafood-rich, and the margarita has more flavor than the skirt steak. The latter lacks sauce, while the aioli is diluted, and the poblano peppers emit an unpleasant odor. Initially, I tried visiting Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen in Brea, but the lack of parking led me to their Irvine location instead. What a fortunate turn of events! The Irvine location offered ample parking, making my arrival stress-free. From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the host, who seated me immediately. I was thrilled to learn about Chef Joe's Weekend Special--a three-course meal for an incredible $29, a steal in California! I opted for the seafood campechana cocktail, grilled steak enchilada, and arroz con leche, and added Manila clams as an extra dish. The service was exceptional. My server, Carlos, was professional, patient, and incredibly attentive, elevating my solo dining experience. Manager Isabel also checked in, ensuring everything was to my satisfaction. Their genuine care stood out, especially compared to some Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited worldwide, where service often fell short. We went our first time Friday 02/28/2025, arriving during happy hour (although we didn't know it was happy hour at the time). We were seated by an employee. It was not crowded. I ordered 2 margaritas for me and husband. I noted that they were kind of pricey. They arrived promptly, were small, nothing special. We had appetizers and asked for our check, which was around $50., without tip. We tipped $10.00. As we were leaving, my husband asked if they had a happy hour, and we learned we had arrived during the happy hour and were leaving still during happy hour. We had been in it when we ordered! They never told us, nor did they provide us a "happy hour" menu before we ordered from the bar area (which would certainly be in that happy hour area). Upon glancing at the happy hour menu my husband asked for at the end of our visit, my wife saw had we ordered off the happy hour menu our margaritas would have been cheaper! When this was pointed out to the server, she merely told us that it was unfortunate we did not get provided a happy hour menu, but did not offer to fix the problem. Appalling? Yes! Would we return? Not a chance. A poor way to do business. We feel ripped off, and we will not be returning. The appetizers were okay as was the service, but not enough to offset being overcharged. When we told the seating person on the way out, she merely said something to the effect that maybe the server did not know to give us a "happy hour" menu, but did not offer to fix the problem. I used to be a regular at Cha Cha and was good, but my last visit was a complete disaster. From the moment we walked in, the place seemed off. The first red flag was the horrible smell coming from the kitchen--it was like a mix of garbage and spoiled food. We tried to ignore it, thinking maybe it was just a one-time issue, but unfortunately, the food confirmed our worst fears. The dishes were not only poorly prepared but also had an unpleasant, off-putting taste that was impossible to ignore. It was clear the quality had drastically dropped. What made matters even worse was the attitude of the manager. She was beyond rude, acting like we were the inconvenience just for asking about the food or for a simple drink request. We asked for Diet Coke, and they couldn't even provide that! How can a restaurant not have basic options like that? The whole experience felt like they couldn't care less about their customers or the food they serve. The staff seemed untrained and disengaged, and the atmosphere was tense--definitely not the welcoming vibe it used to have. To top it all off, when we mentioned the issues to the manager, he brushed us off and didn't even offer an apology. I don't know what happened to this place, but it's clear that the standards have plummeted. I can't recommend Cha Cha anymore. The fawning four star and five star reviews and the four and a half star average rating enticed me to give this place a try. I found the food and the service it to be just "OK" and nothing special, hence the three stars. Read on. Cha Cha's is located in The Marketplace on Jamboree boulevard that straddles Tustin Ranch and Irvine. Cha Cha's occupies a space that used to be an IHOP. Both indoor, outdoor patio, and outdoor "COVID tent" seating are offered. I'll let my photos speak to whether the place is "stylish" or not. It being Taco Tuesday, I got three tacos: one spare rib, one shrimp, and one carnitas. They look pretty good in my pic, right? I found them to be just OK. The carnitas was dried out and my least favorite of the three. The big glob of goat cheese kinda spoiled the spare rib taco. The shrimp taco was the best of the three but it was nothing to write home about. Thankfully, the tacos are half off on Tuesdays as of this writing. The tacos are served with rice and black beans. Like the tacos, the rice and the beans were were just OK. The highlight of the meal just might have been the Pacifico on draft or maybe the chips and salsa. The service was just OK, too. The staff I encountered sat me and delivered the meal fine, but the service felt perfunctory. I don't need my ass kissed, but it couldn't hurt to be at least a little bit friendly. Would I return? We recently visited Cha Cha's Kitchen for a birthday brunch, and while the food was fantastic, the service was a bit of a letdown. Our reservation was for 10, but unfortunately, two people couldn't make it. When the server found out, she started roughly moving the extra seats around us while we were already seated, telling us to grab our things. She didn't offer any help or explanation--just shoved over the cups and utensils onto the empty seats, making the whole situation feel rushed and awkward. From the start, her tone and attitude were off-putting, which immediately created a negative vibe for our group. When the drinks arrived, there was a mix-up with my order. I had asked for lemonade, but was brought tea instead. When I pointed out the mistake, she snapped back, "No, that's what you ordered, and that's why I asked you." Her dismissive attitude made it feel like we were a bother rather than customers, which really didn't sit well with the group. At that point, we decided to ask for a different server, and what a difference that made. Our new server was a breath of fresh air--polite, friendly, and patient. He took the time to walk us through the menu and made great recommendations. His positive attitude and professionalism completely turned the experience around. I recently visited Cha Cha's with my girl for a date night and I was impressed by the owner's personal touch as he came to each table to check on his guests. He was very friendly and genuine. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food quality and staff service. The red habanero salsa had a great flavor but lacked the extra kick I was hoping for. The seating is first come first served and the place can get pretty busy, but luckily we were able to find a spot. The patio and interior both had a great atmosphere with fun music and a nice crowd. I would definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather is good, which is usually the case in SoCal. I ordered the three taco dish. The wild mushroom tacos were my favorite, they were big and flavorful, but not too spicy for me. The guacamole was also delicious and I would eat the wild mushroom tacos all by themselves. However, I found the prices a bit high and some of the dishes, like the rice, were just okay. Cha Cha's has a high-end restaurant vibe that you would expect to find at The Spectrum. It's a great addition to the restaurant selection in the Market Place, but I hope they can improve the food quality and staff service to match the owner's personal touch. read more

Once again, I found myself back at Cha Cha's, this time with my son and his girlfriend. Let me tell you, they were blown away! We kicked things off with some crispy calamari and garlic fries, and beef nachos. Oh so good!! For our main course, we went for the beef fajitas. The meat was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I washed it all down with a refreshing Cha Cha grapefruit margarita, while the kids sipped on a watermelon margarita that were equally delicious. But no night at Cha Cha's is complete without dessert! We had to have the flan. It was smooth, creamy, and the perfect way to end the meal. Our server, Jack, deserves a huge shoutout. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were old friends. He even gave us a little sample of their famous cilantro sauce, which is seriously next-level good. By the end of the night, we felt like we'd been transported to a tropical paradise, thanks to the amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Today marked my second visit to Cha Cha Kitchen, and I must say, it was a delightful experience, especially considering the significantly reduced crowd and improved seating options compared to my previous visit. Initially, my friends and I had planned to head to BJ's next door, but we decided to give Cha Cha Kitchen a try, and I'm so glad we did. While Taco Rosa nearby has always been a favorite, Cha Cha Kitchen has now firmly claimed the title of my new go-to Mexican restaurant. The ambiance of Cha Cha Kitchen is simply captivating. The inviting seating, both indoors and outdoors, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. My daughter suggested Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen at the Tustin Market Place, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The resturant has a warm and open ambiance, with vibrant yellow bar stools adding a pop of color to the place. The bar's design is sleek and stylish, and the patio a fantasitc addition for outdoor dining. Our server, Paige, was wonderful - warm, welcoming, and very friendly. She helped us select our dishes and ensured our drinks and food arrived promptly, with timely refills. The food was outstanding. I tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp, each perfectly prepared with unique spices and garnished with salsa and shaved raddish. Black beans and Spanish rice were on the side and have to say the Spanish rice some of the best I've ever had. Overall, the experience was amazing. I've traveled the world and consider myself quite a "foodie." How refreshing to move back to Orange County and find this gem!! Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen Irvine is my new favorite go-to. I came here with my 14 year old daughter and the manager, Steve immediately made us feel welcomed. Steve made the most delicious recommendations....everything from the guacamole, carne asada, pan-seared halibut, desserts to beautiful cocktails were a treat for the senses. Not only was Cha Cha's presentation and service impeccable, Steve and his staff are attentive, friendly, while maintaining on point as professionals. I've been back several times now, always greeted with a smile, Taco Tuesday is a must, but better yet live music nights!! We really need to be able to put zero stars. Went here last night because I was given a gift card and now I think they gave it to me because they knew this place was horrid. The food was absolutely horrific, it looked and tasted like airport/hospital food. Nothing had seasoning, the beans were tasted like they were canned and the salsa was flavorless, don't even get me started on the chewy/dry/weird texture rice. My margarita was disgusting, pure sugary juice. Our waiter was terrible, he was rude, he threw our bill on the table, we still can't figure out why, lol. We didn't have any type of bad exchange so we didn't get where the attitude was coming from. We left an almost full margarita, one tequila shot and all of that disgusting food on the table, paid the bill and left. I recently dined at Cha Cha Latin Restaurant with a party of three and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was excellent--fast, attentive, and the staff took the time to explain the menu, which was especially helpful since I wasn't familiar with some of the dishes. The ambiance was fairly quiet and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. We ordered the catch of the day (swordfish), three enchiladas, and three tacos. The enchiladas and tacos were fantastic, receiving high praise from my dining companions. As for the fish dish I ordered, it was just okay--not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, Cha Cha Latin Restaurant delivers solid service and a welcoming atmosphere with mostly great food. Last night I came in and the place was so busy, I was quoted 30min wait but still wasn't texted by then. I came to check at 45 minutes, which my Dad was pretty POed by then and wanted to leave. Something must have happened because when I checked on the status a manager by the name of Dannelle or Michelle was there now and she apologized about the long wait but explained guests were hanging out longer than they predicted. A lot of other customers were crowding around the front also angry. My Dad came in and made a scene I was so embarrassed but she got us a table right away and bought us an appetizer to make up for it. The atmosphere is amazing, and the restaurant's design and decor are so unique and unlike anything I've seen before. Beyond the gorgeous space, the staff went above and beyond to manage my severe pineapple allergy. They took it incredibly seriously, ensuring there was zero pineapple in any of the dishes and absolutely no cross-contamination with my food or my watermelon margarita, making for a completely stress-free celebration. I really love this spot. I get my grapefruit/tequila fix (ChaCha's Marg) and the scratch menu is delightful. I used to go in for the Carne Asada y Chimichurri, but now I opt for appetizers or tapas (only on Thursday) so I can enjoy more margaritas! The calamari is my favorite. Or Shrimp al Ajo if it's Thursday! If I feel extra indulgent I'll get the Queso Fundido y Chorizo (reaaaaal cheese!) and fresh corn tortillas. And the staff is just the coolest. The servers are genuine and I don't feel like I'm taking to a bunch of robots. I like to sit on the patio. The managers seem friendly and the people are enough to keep you there, probably longer than you should. My girlfriends like to go for bottomless mimosas on Sunday's brunch. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, just curt responses that made me feel as though I was bothering him simply by asking about our reservation. We decided to wait until 2:00 p.m. At 2:05, we tried checking in again and were told they would open "in a few minutes." By 2:15, they still had not opened. At that point, we had been waiting 45 minutes past our original reservation time, with no apology, explanation, or apparent sense of urgency, so we finally left. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and unwelcoming. Mistakes and scheduling issues happen, but a simple apology and some basic courtesy would have made a huge difference. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience for showing up for a reservation the restaurant itself had accepted. We ended up going around the corner to Chapter One: The Modern Local, where the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The contrast could not have been greater and after our experience at Lola Gaspar, it was especially refreshing.

It could have used a little more dressing. Also, in the later evening hours, there's a DJ--the light go down, colored lights come on, the music turns up, and the vibes turn a bit club-like. There is plenty of parking in the plaza lot, or there is also an underground parking structure with additional parking.
