We received a very fair quote and we were already comfortable with Matt's confidence so we went ahead. We thought we would have to wait a lot longer than we actually did for the install. On the day of the install, Alan and Jeff rolled in and slapped it all together. They are really nice and are responsive but the quality of the product looks cheap. It looks like something I could have bought from Home Depot. In addition, the measurements were off and I had a gap on each side. They put a strip to cover the gap but it doesn't even match and looks tacky and doesn't look custom. We bought a new house and decided to hire all the work to local businesses and not big business. Jeff is awesome!! He was actually a referral from my realtor. I would not have been able to text the owner with random questions at the factory closet company around the corner. With Jeff you can! I genuinely felt like he cared and takes a lot of pride. Jeff has so much energy you wonder what kind of vitamins he's taking...and you want some. He is hopping around like a rabbit measuring things and spouting off madness about closets and the next thing you know, he has taken all your pencil sketches and turned them into something functional, offering advice along the way for what works and what is a horrible idea that only seemed good because you saw it on Pinterest (I know you've been there). The design studio was helpful too, just to touch and see a few things and get ideas. Nothing fancy but his price is a hellofalot better than those big-corporate guys with the fancy design centers, too. That said, post install our experience went way down. We had quality issues with the install and took several trips and several weeks to address. And yet again another drawer isn't working properly. Another call to them. More wasted time. I really wanted to keep having the great experience we started with. But left with a bittersweet taste. The bottom line is this is the age old lesson: If you want to pay less, you will get less quality so be prepared to fight for what you asked for and eventually you will get it but it will be a pain in the ass. We bought a new house and hired CHA to built our closet cabinets. Designs were finalized July16,2021. and deposit of $2900 was taken. We were suppose to get our closets in 6 weeks. We now stand at 9 weeks with nothing in hand. I understand the delay is services pandemic has caused. But the problem with these people is that they will not communicate delays , they will not answer your calls, your texts, your emails, absolutely NOTHING. The office manager who came to measure for what I wanted did not take in the scope of the unique setting/orientation of my closets. He over-promised and estimated charges for work that could not be done. The installation was unusable and had to be redesigned. The second attempt was poorly measured and had to be redone. The office manager originally told me to go to Walmart to design my closet. I should have listened to him. read more

I would not recommend this company. They were a subcontractor to put in kitchen cabinets into my custom guest house. Not only did they design it incorrectly, microwave install we found that the cabinet door not opening, which then they had to redo the cabinet. They also blew out the back of the cabinets when they put in the handles for the doors, found out later they used a dull bit. After complaint they came back to add countersunk washer, but still did not completely fix the damage. In addition, but they blame the plumber, they drilled a hole into my kitchen water line, by drilling at an angle to bypass the steel plate in wall which caused more issues and delays in completing my project. They did not notify the builder or me that this happened, so water sprayed overnight. . Don't let them wear earbuds or listen to music while they are working. As I was cleaning after the project completed, I noticed the interior walls of the cabinet and where the holes are to size your shelves were not aligned on the sides. Very tacky. There are extra and missing holes. The product itself is extremely poor quality and the strips they use don't match in paint color. Very disappointed in quality of product, in install, and unprofessional behavior of one of the individuals with this company. This company is used by builders, including the builder we chose, so if you are working with other companies to build a guest house, a tiny home, or kitchen or closet remodel confirm in advance who your cabinet folks are ahead of time and do your research. I was referred to one company to pick out my cabinet style and colors, but then the actual company was someone different. I did not catch that. The actual piece of work is ok; but it's the customer service I'm unhappy with. At the end of August we asked for a barn door for our master bathroom. We were quoted 3 weeks; we kept having to follow up; it was every excuse. The doors on back order; then there is an issue with the hanging equipment; but the company never made first contact. We would think " where ours door???" Reach out and then possibly the next day get a reply. 7 weeks after initially paying for the first half of the door; they finally deliver it. The door is ok; not exactly what I wanted but they never send a sketch or anything. They just take what you asked for and run with it. But that leaves a lot up to interpretation. When delivered there are no handles inside the door to open or close it; I asked to have some so it could close and open without fingerprints on the door. The company said they would order it. The other half of the door was paid for at this time. Well here we are 7 weeks after delivery and still no door handles. It's like they got their money and they don't care. We have even texted multiple times and called and heard nothing. Make things worse we paid almost 2K for this door. Pretty sure we would have been better going to Home Depot and hiring a handyman to install it. read more

We have used CHA for several years as we trusted the old owners, however, recently we had our first experience with the customer service under the new management. My wife and I were very specific in what we were looking for in our laundry room cabinets and signed off on the drawings they sent over. When the work was completed and we paid, we found that a few key areas were not addressed and when we asked CHA about this they said they built the cabinets to the drawing specifications and if we want them to adjust things to what we wanted and told them we wanted, it would cost us additional money. It seems like this company is only looking out for a fast payday and not worried about customer service and long term customers. We will not be using this company again! read more

My opinion is that overall their work wasn't that great and was overpriced. My guess is maybe their workmanship has gone downhill since Jeff sold the company. Recently had my master bedroom closet organized by this company. There are many competetors out there, but this company seemed small, yet committed to quality and friendliness. First there was an appointment for a walk through and initial quote. The guy knew exactly what I would want based on the types of clothes I had in my closet. About a week later they came to install. The pieces were generally already put together and required them minor assembly inside. I think the photo on yelp may actually be my closet. I have a girlfriend who opted to go the Ikea route, but she spent hours assembling her system and still, it doesn't fit with her preexisting bars and spacing. My new closet is bottom to floor, there is still empty space I can fill because of the system they've installed. I'm very happy with my service from this company and would recommend them. read more

I am extremely satisfied with the service that I received from this company. I had three new closet systems installed in my house. First: Efficiency. When I first began this process, I had several companies come to my home and bid. Many of the companies required a significant portion of time to complete the bid (some required 4 hours) and some even would design on site, which would take an additional couple of hours. What I liked about this company is how efficient the whole process was. Jeff came to my house, measured all the closets, and provided me with a design via email. He did not waste my time. Second: No hassle. After I received all the bids, I needed time to determine which design fit my preference. I informed all of the companies that I would contact them by a certain date. So pleased with my beautiful closet. Jeff put up with me needing to be in on every aspect of the design, and incorporating many of my own ideas with a smile! Jeff had great ideas and we worked to solve my problem utilizing a weird space so well. The work was done quickly and it is two years later, and not a SINGLE complaint. No sharp edges like my last closet, no separating of any laminate (is that the correct choice of word?)...sincerely, nothing has shown the slightest wear or aging in a well used closet space.
