I love that there are two options in Wake Forest for boba close by. This location in particular is easier to get to vs the other boba shop. Though parking is pretty similar, it's easier to get in and out of. Cha House, honestly, is my second choice to the other boba place. But it is a solid choice for when my favorite is hard to get in or out of or like the other day, a bus full of school kids went in before us and it was an immediate "nope." I've been here quite a few times. The Thai tea is great and I really like the Hong Kong black tea. Everything we've ordered is delicious. I haven't ordered food here but I'm not opposed to it, it's just I've already eaten by the time I go. The staff are always friendly but service can be slow sometimes. It's always busy when we go in, so I understand. There's plenty of seating and it's very bright and welcoming inside. Though I think having two boba shops within (literally) one mile apart is excessive, it's great for a boba obsessive person like me to have options!

The cashier had great customer service and the presentation was nice, but the food was not up there. The chicken just felt chewy. I would come again for the boba, but not the food.

Tried Cha House today (via Door Dash). Everything was packaged well and included chop sticks. Pretty good, chicken was cooked well and the coating was good. Broccoli was fresh and there was plenty of rice. The bbq sauce was good. The fries were good but I think they'd be better as a dine-in option. They were a bit steamed and limp from the drive. The drink was very good! I think next time I'll dine in and try another drink (they all look so good!).

Yay another boba tea place, this time in Wake Forest! Cha House is located in the plaza at the intersection of Forestville Rd and Rogers Branch Rd. Seems like a typical boba place but with food options! The menu sounded delicious but we just finished lunch so we ordered boba and a lemon brookie. Both were delicious. Cha House has similar prices and customization options as other local tea shops. Pick your tea/base, ice level, sweetness level, and toppings. The menu is posted on three adjacent screens by the cashier. Regular black milk tea and taro are consistent go-to options. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this boba shop to others!

I went for dinner on a Saturday and it was packed so expect a slight wait at peak hours. Parking can also be tight as it is located downtown. We were seated quickly and our food came out FAST! Great service. My friend and I shared the Scallion Pancake, Bang Bang Shrimp, Dry-Sautéed Green Beans, and Spicy Crispy Fish. We definitely got one too many dishes, but I am glad we got to try them. The Scallion Pancake was solid. It had the right amount of thinness and flakiness. I would love to taste more scallion next time, though. I think that the sauce that it came with was a bit sweet and I would rather a more savory or saltier sauce to pair with the pancake. The Bang Bang Shrimp was under the appetizer category but it looked like an entree. Lots of small shrimp in a creamy, sweet, and spicy chili sauce. I loved it! The Dry-Sauteed Green Beans were probably my least favorite dish. I wish it had a taste (or more of a taste) of soy sauce or garlic, but it was still decent. The Crispy Spicy Fish is definitely one of the most popular dishes here and it lived it up to the hype! Not sure what seasonings were on the fish, but it tasted a bit salty, spicy, and savory. The fish also tasted fresh to me. We also received complimentary rice, which was needed with our savory dishes! I would definitely come back here in the future! There are so many options for food on their menu and almost everything was a hit. Plus, service was fantastic. I recommend going with a large group to do family style and really try a lot of the menu items.

I like how people talk about decent Chinese food like they talk about bees -- "where did they all…read morego?" If I am anywhere near Cary I will go to this place for the Sichuan dishes. Often times I find that the little red pepper on many Chinese menus mean nothing. Here, they mean "this is going to be really spicy!" I have been told that you ask for something that isn't on the menu, they can often gladly make it for you. So... yeah. TBH -- the more American-Chinese dishes aren't anything special. I had someone's General Tsao and it was way spicier than most (which was great) but really, really, goopy and sugary (which wasn't.) All in all, if you're adventurous, and you're tired of the same old American-Chinese I would give this place a run and I would actually avoid those items on the menu should you dine here.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! They do indeed offer suggestions to make you the best coffee. I have the 5 spice brown sugar on an Americano. I let them know I typically drink dark roast black. They let me try the pour over (not dark enough) and that settled it. My friend had a latte. The decoration on top didn't come out to the barista's liking so he made a new one even tho my friend didn't care. That is commitment to the art of coffee! I had the baguette sandwich and my friend the congee. Both were yummy. Already planning dinner there. So good!

I came to celebrate a birthday with a friend - we were intending to have lunch - but came to late and missed it. So, we decided on having something to drink and a treat. The location is easy to find and parking wasn't bad. We came on the weekend, so not sure what it might be on the weekdays. The decor is so welcoming and warm. We enjoyed the peach cobbler muffin and a coffee cake muffin. Warm and perfectly prepared :) The coffee was very tasty however my friend didn't care for the guava drink. Overall, a good time and looking forward to returning to try their hot food.
