First off this motel has been renamed to the Good Sprint Motel. The staff and the front office personnel were very nice and accommodating. The rooms are not 4-star rooms but they are certainly better than a Motel 6 or something like that. The bed was pretty comfy and while it was hard to move around the bed at times the room was plenty spacious enough. The room was pretty clean honestly and did not have any bad smells. It does look like they are continuing to make some improvements to the property but this is definitely a place worth checking out as its clean, good staff and reasonably priced. read more

What a great find! I live in town and needed an affordable option due to a repair issue in my rental. I called on a whim after the chains in town had no vacancy or just sent me on an endless robot dial phone tree. A kind woman picked up the phone and took great care of me. Room is perfect-clean, simple but modern. Everything you need at a very modest rate compared to most things in Napa. If you're not looking for your stay to be an experience and just need an affordable, clean, safe, quiet spot to rest and relax, this is it! read more

This place deserves 0 stars! I got this place through a discount website, and the photos and price on the website were decent, so I booked, but once I arrived, the place was a dump!!! Also, the rooms had a strong paint smell, as someone had just painted them. See attached photo. There was no way I could stay here, and I requested a refund. The owners refused and still charged my credit card even though I did not stay there. The lady at the front desk is horrible; she has very poor customer service !!!! This place is fantastic! Recently totally upgraded, we walked into a clean room without yucky old carpet but designer wood vinyl flooring, and all the bathroom and beds and decor updated. Colors of light grey, cream, and white. Got in to our room right on time. The owner and his wife, Raju and Darcy, very nice people. Best part...the bottom of the bed under the mattress lights up through motion detector so you can see your way into the bathroom in the middle of the night...then shuts off. I came here to check in, after I had made a reservation and paid for a two night stay. Once I got to the motels office (witch looks like a third world country gas station in the ghetto) I pick up the phone and I let the receptionist I have a confirmation for a 2night stay I didn't even finish my sentence and she said "go somewhere else" hmmmm "we are closed" T then I said "but......" she interrupted and asked if I had $300cash. I said "I have no cash I paid for room already" and she said "we are closed" she hung up I tried calling again I must of done that 2 more times and gave up.. all this is going on 20minutes till the new year! Absolutely disgusting. It's not what it looks like don't waist your time booking here they will rip you off and charge you different prices. Told us the room was over $400 for the night and then when we stepped away from the counter the next guy in line was told $200 for I'm not kidding you THE SAME ROOM! The girl working the desk said keep in mind this is Napa. Also the ac unit made noice, water pressure was the most comical thing I've ever seen, and the lovely homeless encampment right out the window was a lovely view. They were banging and building crap out there and when we brought it up to the lady she said yeah the city knows there's nothing we can do. Honestly I wish I could give this place negative stars We stayed at this hotel last night and the room itself (first impression ) looked fine. However when we woke up this morning we saw that the sheets had blood stains I was so shocked as we just spent the whole night in dirty sheets. My husband went to let the front receptionist know she didn't believe him and after some discussion she agreed to come and look at it her self. When she came and looked she made the situation worse by claiming it was our blood when we told her NO it wasn't from us she proceeded to clean the blood with a wet towel then claimed that because the blood wasn't coming off it was fresh blood from last night at this point we realized it wasn't worth arguing with an imbecile and we left. I was hesitant at first due to the negative reviews. Our room was "upgraded" and on the first floor but at the end of the row (112). It was nice and quiet EXCEPT for the giant dinosaur (at least it sounded like one) that stayed above us. Every morning at 5am we were awaken by the tyrannosaurus that slept above us. I'm not sure if it's because the floors were thin or if it's because he/she was really a dinosaur, but only in the morning was it extremely noticeable. The check in and check out services were pleasant and the service were top notch. Pool looked small but clean and enjoyable. Misleading adverts. Rude receptionist! Omg this place looks NOTHING like the way it is advertised. Tiny window to check in and had to yell since the receptionist couldn't hear us and neither could we hear him. And since we weren't happy with the 'cold' environment of the inn he asked us to cancel the reservation. We still went ahead and waited for him to check us in and then when we asked if we can have room key he said we canceled reservation- woh! Not a cheap place at all but I'm SO glad we quickly made reservation at a wonderful hotel nearby for just a few dollars more. A young family came by and asked if there was a room and he said no. I had the good fortune of a long term stay at The Chablis Inn in Napa!! First and foremost is that the family who run The Chablis Inn are absolutely amazing. They care about their customers, go out of their way to be accommodating, and keeping the Inn clean. The room is very comfortable with all the essentials, TV, refrigerator and microwave. The woman, who sets up the rooms goes out of her way to be obliging. She is a treasure for sure, and speaks better English then I do Spanish. The location of the Inn provides for easy walkable access to food and Starbucks! The Inn is just a few blocks from the main HWY 29, making it so easy to get to all of Napa and surrounding towns. I recommend The Chablis Inn because it's affordable, the location is convenient, and all the people involved with running it are top notch. read more

Stayed here three times because of the rates. A little better than motel 6 - not by much. This place could be a lot better if the owners put any money in repairs. Over the course of the three stays, I noticed things like a rotten balcony on top of stairs above the office. My last two visits was was pleasured with the beehive room - a beehive right in front of the door, not too bad if you can run fast. While I was in my room, I started to notice all the things in disrepair; rotten cabinet under frig, shower valve broken, binds in pieces. This is a classic case of a slumlord just not caring at all about living conditions. I will not be coming back! read more

Don't be fooled by the name. Don't be fooled by the owners pictures that portray cleanliness, romance, and modern features. Don't be fooled by Travelocity reviews that are mostly inaccurate. And don't be fooled by reviews of college age kids who are probably too drunk from their wine tasting adventures to hear and see straight. Not cute and quaint as you'd expect from the word "Inn". Looks like a converted motel. This place is located near the freeway and next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic from the room. The spa/ pool area backs up to the busy road. It is also closed at 8pm, not that I would want to use it after seeing the room. The room was outdated and the bathroom was REALLY GROSS, with cracked floor tiles and missing grout. (FYI, grout is easy to fix. I tiled and grouted our laundry room and kitchen backsplash and it looks amazing. Easy for hotel to fix this sort of thing) The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was tossing and turning for hours; I slept worse than I do with 3 kids at home (super disappointing for an anniversary weekend away with no kids). When we woke up in the morning we found two BUGS!! (COCKROACHES perhaps??) in the bathroom near the sink area. We were so disgusted. $140/night for WHAT???!!!! Maybe we would have been better off staying at the Motel 6 next door??? Which I'd NEVER do, btw. When my husband complained, the manager said "you don't know if they are cockroaches". My husband didn't even say cockroach! He said bugs. Ummmm, why did she?! Look at the picture and Google cockroach and decide for yourself people. I think we know why she used the word. She said they have an exterminator come once a month. Well, that ain't cutting it. She wouldn't refund ANY of our money!!! Hello manager, when you read this review and see my pictures, maybe you will then refund our money?? You can tell they have tried to update but no. Carpet is dirty and dingy. Chunks and paint missing from walls. Worst stay in a hotel that I've ever had in my life. They have a bee infestation and bug problems. I was out in a room where I came out and there was a wasp nest. They knew about it and didn't even as if I was allergic or even given a heads up. When they moved me rooms the next room had a bug problem. Dead flies all over and a bug crawling across the bed. When I brought the bug and let them know I was met with attitude from some younger girl tell me there is no one above her for me to talk to and refused to give me the number for management. I wasn't giving the attendant attitude at all when this girl decided to jump in with attitude. Then was told all they can do is refund me but I would have to leave. Worst hotel ever. read more

Amazing stay! I was a little nervous after reading previous bad reviews. But I can happily say no bugs! And I'm totally stoked I followed through and chose this place. I was here for a business conference at the Marriott and I honestly feel a little guilty I got such a good rate when most people at the conference paid hundreds of dollars more each night. And this hotel is easily in walking distance to the Marriott. Very friendly customer service. The rooms were very clean, new carpet, nice kitchenette, immaculate modern bathrooms. And they're painting the outside exterior. Maybe they took the appropriate steps to respond to the previous complaints? Also they actually provided the best soap I've ever had in hotel even pretty nice hotels. ;-) My only complaint would be that there is a little too much light from the outside coming in through the windows at the curtains don't block out at night if you want to sleep in. But I used the extra blanket as a valance over the blinds and that did the trick pretty easily. read more

First off, DON'T EXPECT this to be a 4-star hotel, BUT I'm giving this place 4 reasonable stars for these reasons: 1) Called last minute, and got a deal for $79 one night. $139 Saturday. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but Larry helped us with our midnight check-in. He was upbeat and welcoming. 2) I thought it was going to be an old/sleezy room, but it was actually pretty decent. Clean, with a wide King sized bed, probably was an Eastern King. The bathroom was unexpectedly new and renovated. A small fridge and wi-fi. Oh, and it was also renovate with the sexy crown mouldings, lol. Only thing I didn't like was the old crappy coffee maker. 3) It's pet friendly. My dog was happy to be there. 4) Larry, the front desk/maintenance guy. Our window was broke, and he fixed it. So, in summary, just like the previous reviews: It's not next to downtown Napa (couple of miles away), but you can walk across the street to the market AND the Squeeze Inn Hamburgers (see my review). It's not a bed and breakfast, and not a Ritz. It's just a decent average converted pet friendly motel with helpful service and a Triple-A discount. read more

Well, first clue was when we drove in and there were no cars, just one truck taking up two spaces. We checked in after a rough day at the hospital with my brother having surgery. Hot tub is broken. Ok, well not that big a deal. Went to get ice. It didn't come out. Ice machine is broken. Ok so we took it the bucket with us to Round Table and got ice there. Came back and got settled in for the night and no WiFi. Called the front desk. WiFi is broken. That's was it. We packed up and moved next door to Motel 6. Walls are thin and construction workers outside smoking but they had working WiFi, microwave and refrigerator. No a/c. Now we know why we were the only patrons. I rarely give one star but this took the cake! We just got a notice that we cancelled for free so they must have refunded our $. So I changed my one star to three stars. read more

Alright so this is probably one of my least favorite hotels I have stayed at. The boyfriend booked a hot air balloon ride and planned on being broke with the other activities we would do over the New Year weekend, so I didn't mind staying at a lower end hotel...actually I think it could be classified as a motel. Upon arriving, we were NOT warmly greeted by the guy working the front desk. We asked him what fun events/activities would be available to do for New Year, but all he could do was tell us he didn't know and point to the variety of brochures and vouchers behind us. Um okay...how is this helpful to out of towners? Anyways I didn't mind too much staying here because most of the time we weren't at the motel. However, the room was inconsistent temperature wise. We never felt comfortable. It was either too hot or too cold and we tried to adjust the heater/cooler, but it was to no avail. I was really disappointed by how impersonal the guy at front was. I was looking forward to hearing about the best Napa secrets and what not. However, this motel is great price-wise. Considering how expensive Napa is, I would probably stay here again for financial convenience. *Note: Like the other reviews mentioned, you hear everything- people walking by, talking, people next to the room, maids cleaning. We paid for 2 nights , but the hotel insisted to say we did pay only for 1 night , we showed the bank statement and also called the bank to confirmed our payment but the hotel insisted in charged us again ! They didn't allowed us inside our room , even though my elderly parents weren't feeling so good. The stablishment is not on good conditions too. Heavy mantainece early in the morning. You will wake up with a very loud noise banging in you ears. The pool and jacuzzi doesn't work , also the freege in the room. A true nightmare, with a very poor costumer service , and also a ripe off. I also work in hospitality and understand that some situations can be challenging, but to lock us out of our room , with no access to our personal belongings, with no clear communication, even dispait the fact that we showed all the proff that the bill was payed . And forced us to payed again is outrageous. Does not recommend this stablishment with no one. Would give 0 stars if was possible ! read more

My friend and I attended Bottlerock for the weekend and prior to the festival were looking for a place to stay close by. Even though we're somewhat local coming from the East Bay, we really wanted the full "girl's weekend" experience by staying right in Napa and being able to travel to the venue easily. Unfortunately, we were having such a hard time finding a place not already sold out that was still within the city and affordable. However, about a week before, my friend found an awesome deal for the Chablis Inn online and jumped on it right away. For $249/night, we were thrilled to have snagged the last room. That Friday we drove up to Napa in the morning and arrived at the Chablis Inn. We'd hoped that we could check in early but were told by the woman at the front desk they would not let us check in before 3pm. We left for an hour to grab lunch, then came back to get our room keys so we could at least access our room after the festival (and since the front desk closed at 10pm). We walked by our room while it was being cleaned to test out our room keys, only to be told by the housekeeping service that they would be finished in 10 minutes. We were appreciative to have gotten in to our room early and could unpack before heading for Day 1 of the festival. The room was perfect - nothing fancy but had all the amenities we needed. The king bed was super comfortable. There was also a great mini bar area with a mini fridge and microwave, along with a spacious bathroom, TV, and desk area. We had a great time all weekend long at Bottlerock and the Chablis Inn. Just what we needed for an awesome time and it will be a hotel we'll consider if decide to go again next year! read more

The bed is super comfortable very thick and warm blankets. The bathroom was very nice with good quality hand and body soaps, also a high set showerhead. Comes with a microwave and a desk and kitchenette area. It was a little pricey I would maybe price it at 100 bucks a night. The only downside is that it's not a very pretty neighborhood so to speak and there is definitely trafficking happening at the hotel next-door which we could see our back window of our room. read more

I booked this through Hotels.com and chose the pay when I arrive option. Today I get a decline notification from my credit card of an unauthorized attempted transaction. It seems the hotel attempted to charge me for the room even though Hotels.com said I didn't have to pay until I arrive. I called the Chablis Inn and spoke to the manager, "Raju" -unknown spelling, and he informed me that it was their practice to do so and they didn't have to honor what Hotels.com posted. I then called Hotels.com and spoke to "Ron" who stated that the hotels are starting to do that. I informed him I believed it was fraud and theft as well as false advertising since Hotel.com did not post this. I asked for the legal department and or human resources and was informed they do not take calls. Severely disappointed in both. My friend and I stayed here for Bottlerock weekend and found it fulfilled our needs perfectly. The bed was super comfy which was much needed after a full weekend of rocking! They had a cute little wet bar too, perfect for a little pre-game. The hotel is a block away from the Vine (Napa's shuttle) so that made getting to a from the festival super easy. It is a pretty tiny hotel so they were only open till 10PM but they were able to give us our key before we left for the festival. We ran by and checked to make sure the keys worked to find they were finishing cleaning the room and we were able to get settled at Noon. The room was clean and we never saw any bugs like other reviews have claimed. On the last morning our toilet broke and almost overflowed but they were accommodating about it and we were leaving anyways so it wasn't a big deal. read more

What a huge disappointment after sitting in the ICU waiting room at the hospital all afternoon. The pool was closed and the spa didnt work and we called to ask where the ice machine was and it had broken that morning. So ok we will go across the street and buy ice. then we went to hook up computer and no freaking WIFI or internet. We stayed here last Weds April 18th. It looked good in pictures online. The bathroom had used dental floss in the sink. The shower knob fell off. The sheets were stained. It was late and we just stayed and told the clerk in the morning. He said there is nothing he can say or do, he just works there. It was definitely not a very nice place. read more

The hotel reviews on Booking.com were very misleading. The reviews do not reveal the dates of stay or the star reviews from 5-1. I booked a stay for my daughter and family. I thought the hotel was at a different location but apparently they've changed names. This hotel had transients staying there! The rugs were dirty and odd furniture in the room.
