After calling and speaking to the receptionist about needing a stylist that has experience highlighting blonde hair, I was told to schedule an appt. with Jessica. I trusted the receptionist and made the appt. I waited for 30 minutes past my appt. time since Jessica was running late. Jessica was very nice, we talked about what I wanted and she started to foil my hair. All seemed awesome and I felt happy to find a new stylist close to home! She washed my hair and I realized I was running late, so I had her dry my hair but no flat iron or style. Paid and left only to get home and realize that my hair was destroyed!! Cheeta orange and yellow spots all over!! I should go back to get my $ back, but I don't want her to ask to fix. No one there will touch my hair again!!! I now have to find a stylist to fix..so more $$ because corrective color is much more expensive. Will never return!!! read more

Heather has been doing my hair for a quite a few years now. In fact, I followed her from another salon. Because of my greys (thanks mom!), I am in Heather's chair every 4-5 weeks. She is great with color, hi-lights, low-lights and cuts. Heather is up-to-date with new styles and trends, from cut to color, and even formal styling/up-do's. (She did my daughter's hair beautifully for an event.) All this, and she's got an awesome personality so spending time with her is fun!! read more

If you want to sit there for over 4 hours getting your roots touched up and pay top dollar, this is the place for you. Personally, I have better ways to spend my time and money. I went several times and always left feeling tense, it's really a shame because they have the potential to be a nice salon. I gave them 2 stars because they never ruined my hair, that's worth a star. I called looking for an appointment and told the lady who answered the phone it was my 1st visit and what my hair was like and what I was looking to have done. She got me scheduled in with Sara within the week. Super friendly lady and I was impressed. My lingo on what I want isn't the best but she was able to tell with my growth and base color and texture what I needed. We did call my OG in STL to make sure there weren't any areas I wasn't able to describe properly and away we went. My hair is exactly what I wanted. I booked my next appt with her for retouch foils in 4wks before I left. Very happy with the salon, the service, and my decision to give Chace the chance. read more

Chace Salon has been the place I get my hair styled for over a year now, and I could not be happier. I am a very busy person that has a lot of last minute events come up. My hair stylist, Ashliegh (best in the world, btw), is always working her schedule to get me in when I can get in and when I need to get in. Also, I like to keep things new and fresh, and she is always willing to try something new. I'm always pleased with the outcome. Not only is my stylist awesome, but everyone at the salon is so friendly and outgoing. It feels like family when you are in there. Stylist Jason is inconsiderate and unprofessional. No call, no show. He ruined my husband's birthday gift to me by not keeping his appointment and not notifying us of a change. The receptionist asked, "Didn't you get his message?". Jason has yet to contact us about missing his appointment with me on Saturday morning. This place is cute, clean and very reasonably priced! I recently moved from Southern California and desperately needed a new hair/nails/eyebrows person. Hair was the first priority and a family member recommended Chace Salon to me. I went in and Cory helped me out (one of the owners), and scheduled an appointment for the next day. My cut was great; Cory took his time and freshened up my cut and made my long hair look so healthy. He also explained a little bit about their hair "philosophy"; they focus on using products that improve the health of the hair, and I have to admit my hair did have an added bounce when I left! Cory's wife also took the time to chat with me and was very friendly. The cost of the trim was very reasonable and much less expensive than what I am accustomed to paying in SoCal. This salon is friendly (not at all intimidating or snooty as some salons are), in a great location and is very reasonable. I will definitely go back! read more

My biggest let down was the customer service/attitude of the girls. Myself and my mother go together to get our hair done every three months or so and after our stylist of 13years retired we decided to try a salon closer to home. When we walked in for our appointment we had set days earlier they said they only had one girl available and we would have to take turns.. no big deal. After waiting 30 min for our stylist to arrive we watched three other girls sitting in their chairs gossiping about their customers and others walking by without even acknowledging us. We should have just left then and there. When our stylist finally came over we decided I would go first. I wanted my usual a cut and partial highlight, our girl explained she was new and had to go get one of the owners to look at my hair before she started because she "wasn't sure how to go about it" My hair is multiple colors of blond and I have never had issues before but he came over and she explained how she would do it which sounded fine but the owner determined my hair was very damaged and she would have to color some areas and highlight others.. this was the first way they charged me extra for a routine hair style.. so I thought. 5 hours yes 5 hours later I was finished with a mediocre color job that has normally taken less than half. that time. At this point my mother was not even going to bother, all the girl kept telling me was how damaged my hair was over and over and how I really needed to buy their products. I had had enough. I went to pay and the female owner was running the register because her receptionist was out for the day. THE OWNER took 30 min to cash me out because she " never has to do this part" As an owner of a salon you should probably know how to run your own register. She handed me a bag and my receipt after paying over $200 I assumed the bag was take home samples or something. WRONG she had charged and made me purchase a $35 bottle of shampoo. I will NEVER go back here after being made to feel uncomfortable, over charged, and completely unhappy with my hair. Chace salon lost their chance at two regular customers. A few weeks later I also found out my stylist had "moved on to another salon" according to the voicemail they left me. Bravo. read more

If you don't give off a vibe that you're willing to spend extra cash on products/services/extras then you'll definitely see a difference in the service you receive. Very nice salon and clean. I was not happy with the haircut -- I showed a pic of a funky short style, I say she is a good stylist just not right for me and what I wanted. Also I Found a strand 1" longer than the rest which I ended up trimming myself. 3 wks later and I am booking elsewhere. BUT client ahead of me that day did look very good. I went to Sara this week for the first time. I absolutely love her! I had chemical damage from another salon and my hair was all broken off. I was scared to get it colored again, but it looked like crap with my new growth. Sara gave me a fabulous cut and did a superb job with the color! I went here with my daughter and was so disappointed. Our stylist was late, with no apology. She spent the whole time talking to the stylist next to her and I began to wonder if she was paying full attention to our hair. My daughter got highlights and the colour is yellow and just does not look right at all. My hair was very dry and is still in the same condition and doesn't look like it's been cut at all. I normally enjoy going to the hairdressers and feel relaxed afterwards, but I came out feeling disappointed and flat. I called a couple weeks later to make another hair appointment with Chase and was told by him that his time was very valuable and he had no time for me that I had to find another hairdresser. outrageous! I spoke with Melissa and exchanged messages with her to schedule my wedding day hairdo. I text several pictures to which she stated she "loved" and "oh its so cute". Melissa even recommended a "makeup artist who she works wedding events with". two weeks later I met with them and was rushed through my trail. needless, to say it looked far from the chignon pictures I had send her. She later told me she could meet up with me to try again. 4 weeks later I text to schedule another trail and proceeds to tell me "oh hey, glad you text me" that she "doesn't want to inconvenience me but that is not her area of expertise and she could refer me to someone else" continued to state that she "is not a wedding hairstylist and wont be able to give me what I want". I then get a phone call from Kim(the owner) who begins to advocate for Melissa and tells me that someone else can do my hair and recommends her daughter. Kim proceeds to tell me "Melissa actually did you a favor by not doing your wedding hair".......wait...what! I am completely BAFFLED at the LACK of PROFESSIONALISM, INTEGRITY and what appears as DEGRADING of their OWN STAFF. read more

Ask for Julie May Callens. She is great about listening to what you want and then showing how to style it. She is honest when letting you know if your hair will take a color well or not.
