Mom and I were in town visiting family. My cousin suggested we meet up at Chachis for a good meal. She was right! The food was delicious and the servings were plentiful! I had tacos with beans and rice. Mom had enchiladas and my cousins had fajitas. Everything was delicious. My cousin and I had monster margaritas. I thought I was going to be twisted after drinking it, but it obviously had little alcohol. Neither of us felt the effects. Oh well. I had the cucumber monster margarita and it was tasty, but... don't think there was any alcohol in there! There was 6 of us. Last week my wife and I went with a group of friends for an early dinner to Chachi's. We have been to their other location in Doña Ana so we were happy with the restaurant choice by our friends. Let's start with the food, every item that was ordered during my visit was absolutely delicious and served in pretty large portions. The Chile con Carne burrito plate smothered in green chile sauce is more than enough for two people and it's full of flavor, they don't go easy on the meat, cheese or sauce. The fajitas were also cooked perfectly and they were tender and flavorful. My husband got the combination plate and was satisfied with all the items he chose, and specially the chile relleno, you get to pick three items. The salsas they bring out are very good too, especially the green one. The Monster Margaritas are humongous and come in a variety of flavors, super refreshing and not packed with sugar. I recommend both the Cucumber Margarita, so refreshing and the Mango Margarita, slightly sweet and full of flavor. They do serve beer as well and they have Happy Hour Specials. The service was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our food came out fairly quickly although the restaurant was packed. It's a popular place with the locals and for a good reason. The ambiance is lively and bright. The prices are $10 and up. It's not cheap, but it's worth a visit. read more

If you're looking for great Mexican food, this is the spot. My measuring stick is carne asada. If it's good, there's a high likelihood the rest of the menu is delicious. This is my 2nd visit and was not disappointed either time. The service has been fantastic in both the locations I've visited. During the pandemic I became addicted to ChaChi's with their drive thru menu! ChaChi's has fabulously flavored salsa and food that is on point. I always order the chicken flauta plate with chips and queso and my eating companion loves the burrito supreme with asada meat and smothered in red. Watch out because some burritos are just burritos and not a plate so if you are wanting rice and beans ask for the plate. As a side note I have eaten ChaChi's at least a dozen times and most of the time the order is perfection but sometimes it is not - so always make sure to check your order before you leave. Also, I just found out meals no longer come with complementary chips and salsa it cost $2 for a 4oz and chips (still worth it)! I highly recommend ChaChi's!!! I will be back!!! read more

Go to where the locals go. Everyone from Cruces knows Chachis is legit. Let's get to the good stuff, here's what I had today: Combo Plate with cheese enchilada and beef Torta. The enchilada was cheesy and yummy. I got green chile which wasn't overpowering with heat but still spicy. The Torta was absolutely delicious. The tortilla they use is fresh and has amazing flavor. The meat and potatoes inside the Torta was seasoned perfectly. Chile con carne burrito: Meat and potato burrito smothered with chile and cheese. What more do you need? Margarita- holy smoke this is huge! I expected a regular size but hey, gotta do what I gotta do. Service- spot on and very attentive. Great job! I'll be coming back for more! read more

The service was okay but I was not a fan of the food. I ordered a combination plate w/red and green and chilli they serve is a water downed sauce and I would say it's some of the worst that I've had. The service and atmosphere were great! But the food on the other hand was not the best. I got an enchilada plate "Christmas style" and it was not good the tortilla was not good neither. The drinks were warm not cold. The only good thing was the salsa but even then the chips were stale! I would not recommend coming here. read more

I'm not a grilled onion fan but they were fabulous! My husband ordered two charred toreados (jalapeños) and they were the best I've ever seen and he's ever tasted. They were seared with some seasoning and just wonderful. My sil got the green chicken burritos and my daughter got the Al pastor tacos. Absolutely fantastic! Put your sites here. I tried them for Taco Tuesday a month or so back and they are amazing! Good variety of different meats or fish and most can be served on a crisp shell which I appreciate. The service staff are all friendly and happy to suggest different things to try. Latte restaurant is always busy, the staff takes time to quickly buss tables and keep things clean and neat. I decided to take my sister out for an early dinner. We went in and were greeted with a bubbly hostess who sat us and asked what we wanted to drink and we both got some sweet tea. The place is quaint with murals painted on the walls. My sister ordered the two shrimp taco plate and I ordered the chicken flauta plate. After having some chips and hot salsa, we ate and enjoyed our meal. They were both quite tasty. My sister was overwhelmed with her meal. She couldn't stop talking about it and said it was the most authentic she's had in such a long time and gave it a 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend anyone that comes around Las Cruces NM. give this place a go. We'll definitely be back. I need to try these awesome margaritas I've heard so much about as well. This is my friends favorite place for Mexican food. It's located near the university, the portions are large and it's super tasty. I got the torta with brisket and fries which I liked. My friend says their chicken tacos are the best, that's what she always gets. And my other friend went for the three item combo plate which she loved. I would definitely go back. Coming from CA, we have been on the lookout for some good Mexican cuisine that is quick and easy. We found Chachi's express for the nights we don't feel like having a sit down dinner but still want food that isn't the normal "fast food chain" type and still leaves us content. Service was great as they were patient with us making our decisions from the well-rounded menu that catered to all different diets and palettes. For all the food we ordered (family of 5), the wait time through the drive-thru was about 10 minutes and all items were accounted for, presented well even in the to-go boxes which can get messy especially when working within a certain time frame, and bagged well for our drive home. We are excited to try the sit-down restaurant soon. read more

Found this place and fellow elite members rated it high so we came here with confidence and we were not disappointed. They have $2.00 Tecate beer and the chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. We ordered a Chile relleno and beef flautas dinner and we shared it. The Chile relleno was good, but was brought to me warm and not hot. Really good food and the convenience of a drive thru. The gorditas are huge and the masa they use has a ton of flavor. I always get an extra 8 ounce of green salsa because it's some of the best. You really can't go wrong here. The one in Dona Ana is every bit as good and has a seating area to dine and drink a giant margarita while you eat. Chachi's has become one my favorite places for that excellent Mesilla Valley style food. I'm getting hungry thinking about it. read more
