Since the beginning it's been only problems. The agent helping got some information and was supposed to call back and never did, another agent was put on to call and doubled the services. They refused to help us cancel the wrong services. Calling them for information is a hustle and keep bringing up different excuses for the changes in rates and every month quote something different without letting us know why. read more

Initially, I had a good experience with this agency. After being with State Farm for over 5 years, with this agency for over a year and a half, and with no tickets/claims/accidents, my rates increased $15 monthly without notice. When I questioned my rate increase, that's when the staff at this agency showed their true colors. I was told the only way to bring my monthly payments down to where they were originally was to raise my deductibles across the board and lower my overall coverage. One representative decided to send me dozens of text messages while I was at work, telling me to to take my money and go find another insurance company and that my leaving wouldn't hurt their business one bit... I did take their advice actually. I transferred my policy to another State Farm agent's office. My new State Farm agent invited me into his office and took an hour out of his day to explain in detail my current coverage. He then showed me what he felt would be best for me versus what worked best for his Christmas bonus, like the Chad Haynes office. Not only did he lower my monthly rate by $7 from what Chad's office had raised it to, he lowered my comprehensive deductible to $100 from $2,000, added renter's insurance as well as Short-term Disability coverage. TALK TO CLAIMS - NOT MY JOB - I bought a new car and Chad's staff was conscientious about getting details on make, model, upgrades, additional options to make sure I was "covered". Of course, the more options, the higher the value and insurance premium. (Understood) So later in the year we were hit (not our fault) and I filed a claim with Chad. Now I realize the car depreciates in a short time, but the payout seemed low. I almost cashed the check but thought I'd check the details of their claim reimbursement. To my astonishment, they paid me for the lowest base model of the car. I called Chad (he was nowhere around), his staff told me "well, sometimes you just have to look out for yourself - YOU need to call State Farm claims". In other words - oops we were caught, my bad, not my job, YOU need to deal with it. read more

Three adjectives (in my opinion) that describe the current Agents that the Haynes Agency employs: 1. Lazy 2. Incompetent 3. Dishonest When I first moved to Keller, I transfered my State Farm policy to Chad Haynes. I met Chad personally, and he seemed like a nice guy. One of his Agents was amazing. Unfortunately, she was moving on to bigger and better things, and that was the end of my good experience with Haynes State Farm. Since my policy was on auto renew, it didn't really seem to matter, until I bought a new car. When I called and spoke to an Agent (will refrain from revealing her name), it was a customer service disaster from the moment she picked up the phone. Here is an example of the incompetence on behalf of this particular Agent, and agency: Agent asks for the VIN on the potential new car. I, gladly provided it to her, and she promised to email me a quote. While still on the phone I also inquired as to why I haven't received my new insurance cards, even though I paid for my new policy. {Long pause / sigh}. Her response: They were mailed to you, I don't know why ya dawnt have em. This game went on for a few days, until I sent Chad Haynes an email. To his credit, he did *her* job, and made sure that I had ID cards with the proper term dates. Problem solved. Momentarily. When the new adjusted policy bill came with the addition of my new car, the quote was way off target. In addition, I still didn' t see a discount in my policy for activating "OnStar." When I emailed this particular Agent to inquire why, I didn't get any response. No return email, no return phone call. Once again, I emailed the owner, Chad Haynes. I didn't get a response from him either, but the Agent did get back with me. She provided an email full of jibberish. Well, no, it was just plain Bullshit, and what I view as lies, because I called her out on the Bullshit quote she provided. I hate shopping around for new insurance, and don't really have the free time, but I wasn't going to willingly give Chad Haynes my hard earned money after dealing with one of his incompetent Agents. The solution. Simple- I called Liberty Mutual on Keller Parkway. The Agent (Kimberly) was GREAT, and they gave me what I view is a better policy, at a few dollars cheaper than what I was paying State Farm. Chad Haynes needs to realize that *his* name is on that building. His employees reflect how people view Chad Haynes. read more

Through house fires, family health problems and car crashes they have gone the extra mile for us every single time and have had an overwhelmingly positive impact on our lives. Terrible. Not honest about rates at all. Rate rose after a bundle ended...which is fine. Then rose again for no reason. I called to get them to the price quoted after the bundle ended, but they wouldn't do it. They offered $10 higher than what was quoted for after the bundle ended. I figure it's easier than switching. The price stayed at the price before I called to get it back to a reasonable range. I call them to inquire, they were extremely rude and would not give me a full credit for the higher price after they said they'd go back to the $10 higher than quoted after the bundle ended. Didn't even care that I was cancelling. read more

My wife, who has been dead for 2 years, continues to receive unsolicited mailings from this office even after I have return mailings mark Deceased and have now called three times. Horrible Customer Service ..... Step 1 contacted them on May 28th and notified selling house on June 28th and policy needed to be cancelled. Step 2 Confirmed renewal was July 7th, called Mortgage company who stated they had already received and processed a bill for processing on 2013-2014 Homeowners. Step 3 As requested contacted State Farm on June 25th confirmed we had a closing date set in Stone and needed to have policy cancel as previously instructed. This gentleman didn't even take my policy number just said ok, looks like you will have a few days refund --- I clarified that our escrow had already paid and we would have 1 Year and a few days refund coming not just a few days......... Step 4 -----State Farm left me a message on July 2nd at 7 pm stating the person handling was leaving for the 4th of July vacation but needed to confirm we closed. Step 5 I contacted them immediately and left a message stating we had closed and requesting confirmation the policy had been cancelled. Step 6 -- After not receiving refund I took the initiative to contact them on July 10th at which time they stated they were waiting on confirmation we closed. I demanded immediate cancellation and written email stating they had cancelled this policy. Received email and was patiently awaiting refund when Step 7 --- I received a call Friday the 26th of July stating the policy had been renewed based on receiving payment from Escrow company. Step 8 We contact them and requested cancellation again and expedition of refund. The lady stated she would call back but didn't. We again took the initiative called back about 4:45. The lady told me it was Regionals fault and she was working on it but couldn't give me an approximation of refund date. I stated I needed an answer by noon today or I was filing a complaint with TDI. The person at Chad Haynes State Farm stated do what you have to do. I complained to the region office and got a call today before noon stating once again they were working on it but it really wasn't there fault because the ESCROW company paid the bill. I informed her we notified them well in advance they would receive that check.......... anyway we are owed $2130 and they still can't tell me when we will get refund read more
