Love this salon! Kim Gozon has been my stylist for a decade now and I trust her with my hair implicitly! She always delivers on the look I'm going for and my hair is healthier than ever. Quick to respond, simple scheduling, and a true professional/artist with her craft! The salon itself is so cute too! Great vibe/ambiance, always clean, and everyone is always so welcoming. It's located in a shopping plaza so parking has never been an issue for me. I have been going through some serious personal issues and I really needed help fixing my terribly matted hair. I found Lexi back in April of this year and I have to say, I'm so happy I did! When I came to Lexi I was at a really bad place with my hair. It was dry, damaged and I hated the color/cut. I have my hair done on a regular basis (every 6 weeks) and had been with my previous stylist for several years, but hadn't left the salon happy in quite some time. I needed a change. Lexi is very easy to talk to. She suggested some hair products for me to try and I have been using them ever since. Thanks to Lexi my hair is finally soft, healthy and I love the color/cut again. Update: Called in for an appointment for my mom with Jordan and my mom looks amazing! My mom felt confident and LOVES her hair. This is literally your one stop beauty salon! Before I met Mallory, I almost never go to the same salon twice to get my brows done. I've always walked out of the salon feeling unsatisfied and often with two different eyebrows. That was until I met the brow lady of my dreams Mallory. She is freaking amazing and a miracle worker! My brows went from being a hot mess to like "daaammmn. who dat" Kind of like Princess Mia's transformation from Princess Diaries dammn. I've stayed with her ever since she did her magic to my eyebrows. She's super knowledgeable and walks you through to what she's doing. She answers any concerns or questions you may have. I've done many services with her from lash lifts to eyelash extensions. She's done an amazing job with my eyelash extensions that I often get complimented how pretty my lashes are. P.S Her facials have done wonders for​ my mom's melasma. She's in her mid 50's now, but after getting her facial from Mallory she looks like she's in her late 30's. I'm kind of scared that she'll soon have a line of men wanting to take her out on dates! I'm so glad that I found Chair! In the past, I've been to different salons and hair stylists but I never felt happy with the end result or they would pressure me into buying products I didn't need. In 2017, I stumbled across Jordan's and Korri's Instagram accounts and loved the tones, colors and hair cuts. I reached out to Jordan for a balayage and she did such a great job. I would get so many compliments. Even from random strangers asking me for Jordan's Instagram page. The balayage lasted for a year. Looking perfect without fading. In August 2018, since it was a year since I did my hair with Jordan I decided to book my appointment with Korri because I also loved how she colored hair. This time we went more brown than blonde for the upcoming fall. Korri is literally amazing! I love the beautiful tone and color. It looks very natural, but glowing. I'm obsessed. I've also received many compliments on my hair. Three friends have even taken pictures to share with their hair stylists. cHAIR is a beautiful salon! This review is specifically for Kim Gozon (@styled_by_kim on ig - gooo follow to see her work!). Kim, in my opinion, is the best hair stylist in the game, especially in her understanding of color theory and placement. I've been a loyal client for many years and have followed her wherever she went. I am very particular with anything related to beauty, so I am so glad I have found Kim who I trust 100% to help me achieve my desired look BUT also make recommendations on what would work or look best. With our current reality - I feel like I have to separate this review based on Pre-COVID and current COVID times. As a germ freak, I can appreciate that cHAIR has always been a clean salon and all of the stylists seem to take pride in their workspace. I've never had any issues finding parking and I've always been taken in on time for my appointment and refreshments were such a nice and welcoming touch! They also feature local small businesses (jewelry) at the front desk, which I love to see businesses support each other this way. It's a testament to the owner who is open to use her space as a way to help other women owned businesses showcase their products that they otherwise might not have as much visibility/foot traffic. I like that so much. After SIP was lifted and salons were able to reopen, Kim was able to squeeze me in. During the entire SIP, I appreciate how communicative she was and keeping her clients up to date on reopening and then also the new safety guidelines. During my appointment, I felt 100% comfortable as the salon chairs were spaced out and there was never more than a few people in the salon at a time. Kim sanitized everything before I came in AND during. I especially liked the fact that she had accidentally dropped a hair brush and immediately tossed it aside into her need to sanitize box. It was intuitive and I sooo appreciate her level of thoroughness and cleanliness given these unprecedented times. It's honestly those little actions that really show her commitment to her client's safety (and also her own). Now onto the hair - there aren't enough adjectives I could use to describe how much talent she has. Kim is also honest and will let me know if I'm reaching too much with what I want with my hair. She truly cares about her clients and I feel so fortunate to have found someone who always has my best hair interests in mind. Kim has pretty much taken me from black to blonde, from long hair to short hair, while still maintaining the integrity of my hair. I've loved every single hair color, style, and cut she's given me. I come to Chair Salon to see Mallory for my eyebrows. I have been Mallory's client since she was @ the Benefit counter in Macy's years ago. Since then, I've followed her. Lol. She got my thin non existing eyebrows to beautifully shaped. I get compliments on them often. ;) Mallory is the eyebrow queen! Today, I had Andrena do my hair again.
