CfA scored a perfect five in all categories for a party w/ 80 guests in our yard. 5 for doing what they said they'd do when they said they'd do it. 5 for suggestions for improvements to plan. 5 for price. 5 for efficiency and flexibility. Michelle, Briana and all their staff were great from the moment I stepped into the store to begin my order to the delivery and after the event. I was surprised to see comments from others about a bad experience, because we have had nothing but excellent service from CFA. They are flexible, helpful and reasonably priced. We have had the nicest delivery guys over the years, and they bust their BUTTS getting all this heavy stuff in and out - all with a smile. Most recently, we had switched some things on the order at the last minute, but the delivery guys had the old order. They were very accommodating, and returned a little later with the extra things we needed. Their equipment is always in good shape. Sure, some of the banquet tables look a little beat up underneath, but once you put the linens on there, you don't see any of the wear and tear anyway, so who cares? My husband and I walked into Chairs for Affairs inquiring about renting a margarita machine for my 60th birthday party. No on came up to help, no one even acknowledged us! Finally when someone did they didn't even come from behind their desk they just pointed out where the machine was. We were shocked. Terri stayed behind her desk didn't even say a word when we made eye contact. How rude! My husband said let's get out of here obviously they don't want to help us, we will take our business elsewhere. We left. We were shocked! Last year my daughter used Chairs for Affairs for their wedding. Everything was beautiful. I would give chair for affairs a 5 out of 5 stars for excellent customer service and prompt response to inquires, making changes, excellent prices, and response to phone calls/ emails. I had zero issues with making changes to my order. The day of the drop off the gentlemen were two hours late and nobody called to notify me, so I waited and eventually contacted the company who informed me the gentlemen were running late. To make up for lost time they had additional staff to help with the setup!!! The guys arrived and were amazing. They apologized for being late and began setting up right away. Tardiness took one star and away and the other star was because they broke two vases. I understand it was a Sunday Pick-up, but I made sure that all the chairs that were rented were already stacked, the tables in one area were broken down and stacked, and the umbrellas were already out of the umbrella holders to help the gentleman coming to pick up. This alone saved them a ton of time. I was disappointed that the only area that was not broken down the night before looked as if wild animals destroyed the area. Now that I think about it I was very disappointed when I saw the area because I was courteous enough to think of the pick-up crew and help with the chairs, tables, and umbrellas, and they just tossed everything of mine on the ground with no consideration given to my personal belongings. The area only had 8-10 tables set up for food, so it was not a large area. I would DEFINATLY rent from chair for affairs again because of excellent customer service. The only thing I would do differently is make sure I am there to monitor the pickup. read more

Chairs for Affairs did a fabulous job with our son's Bar Mitzvah. I was a first timer so I needed a little hand holding. I started with Terri who came and made an onsite consultation and let me bore her with the details of how the party was going to work! I gather she sold the company before our event and I was a little distressed that she hadn't told me but the ladies in the office did a perfect job of calming my nerves and the handover appears to have been seamless. We had a Hollywood themed event and Chairs for Affairs had all the right kit to make it perfect (red carpet, stanchions etc). Tables and chairs went on a tennis court so we had to ensure they all had rubber seals on the table and chair legs to not scratch the court etc...
