With all the new climate controlled storage places in the area now, there is more competition so you think priicing would stabilize, right? Heck no... they went up 15% ! I would most definately shop around before making your choice to store here. They are using their location and the new residences building in their back yard to their leverage.. The last place I had was purchased by Cube Smart, they are just as bad and provide a 10 page contract covering them from any liability for your loss if one occurs. Take your money you would spend and build a nice storage building at your home... Over a year it will cost the same then you pay nothing. Buy a high efficency thru the wall 110 A/C unit, insulate your walls and reflect your roof and you will still pay less long term. "purge and choose"

I called the number and was told they open at 11 and they were likely late so for me to wait. I waited over 30 minutes and never got a call nor did they open. I finally got a call and they as told they aren't open on Sunday and the website should have been updated. I told her it wasn't and apparently their call center didn't know of the cha he either. Apologized and stated I could go tomorrow. I scheduled it when I did both times because it was available and met my time frames. I told them o would be looking elsewhere and I don't think they even cared.

I have rented several times from several different storage places in and and around San Antonio and schertz for the past 10 years and the prices here at Gruene are way better than the others and I had even called around the Gruene, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake areas asking about prices and these guys were much cheaper. However don't let the low prices fool you, the facilities here are clean and neat and all look new with cameras and exits appropriately places. They have discounts on their website and even though I didn't know this, the owner made sure to tell me about them and offered them to me. The receptionists even asked if I had a big moving truck and needed more room to turn around and if I did she was going to pick a storage room where I had plenty of room to turn around. Besides all of this one of my favorite things that was supplied is a dumpster for customers to use! This should be a normal thing for all storage facilities but I assure you it is not!! Only thing I would recommend but I don't know of any facilities who do it, is to have a donation area setup for stuff that is too good to go into the dumpster. Anyway, I love this place and highly recommend them!

The Village subdivision boat ramp aka Canyon Lake Boat Ramp #1…read more When I moved to The Village in 1976, this was a private boat ramp for our subdivision, as most were in those days. We had to have a special sticker on the windshield of all our vehicles issued by our HOA to be able to launch and park there (as well as the subdivision pool up the hill). A few years later, the boat ramps were taken over by the government and opened to the public. Read the Signs: Dock is for loading and unloading only No Fishing No Swimming No Camping No Picnicking No Loitering Do not park a vehicle without trailer in trailer parking! Park your car on top of the hill in the flat area of dirt Use common sense Know your boat etiquette Know your no wake zones Practice your trailer skills BEFORE you taking your boat out in public! This is a tough ramp to navigate with steep incline. Have good tires on your vehicle... when pavement is wet on that steep incline, you will need traction as tires will spin as you are making your way up the hill. We have new tires on our truck, our tires spin. Pull into the loading parking area, quickly put all your stuff in your boat before launch, back into water when it's your turn, then park in trailer parking. Pull out your boat quickly, unload quickly, leave the area quickly. Open Water Scuba classes are also held here. Underwater you will find a platform, cars, etc. Watch for their flags on the water, stay far away. Yelp map shows the boat ramp as "Skyline Park". This is incorrect. This is NOT a park. There are no areas to play, to swim, or to picnic. Pros: Boat dock Cons: Steep incline, limited parking *Note* Comal County Sheriffs & Texas Parks W&G like to use this ramp.

Lots of places to hang out around the banks. Again not allowed. But if you have some sea-doos for a quick launch your all good.
