I just left Ten Bears where I was there for about one hour with 2 girlfriends. The owner, William,…read morewas already visibly intoxicated (with 2 glasses of wine for himself nearby, a red and a white). Pretty quickly over the following 60 minutes he became verbally aggressive, psychologically abusive, and patronizing to myself and my girlfriends. I have NEVER in my life had this experience, and I have traveled all over the US and the world, interacting with thousands of people from countless cultures. William literally flipped a switch and began telling us "I have kicked people out of here before who were above you, and you are here" indicating with his hands that we were below whomever he had an experience with in the past. He also told one of my girlfriends that she doesn't know wine and that she is a "condescending bitch", because she was engaged in a conversation with him about his wines. I invited William to sit at our table with us early on (which he did) and when he switched to the drunk monster that he truly is, I saw it in his eyes. It is VERY obvious that this individual has LOTS of issues he needs to work through and is currently using alcohol as a coping mechanism, while also verbally assaulting his female customers. Unfortunately, we were the only 3 people in the tasting room and had we had a male with us, we surely would not have had the same experience. I immediately began to shut down (trauma response) and tears began streaming down my face. Normally with this type of male (gaslighting, condescending, and toxic to the nth degree), I would have been overly confrontational but the things he said and the look in his eyes, I knew that it was in my best physical health to not fully engage. I looked at him right before we left and said "I want you to know that this feeling, the tears I can't control, are real and you alone caused this". He then made fun of me for my tears and told us to leave as we were trying to pay. We obviously left and were and still are in complete shock. This individual needs to not only seek mental and substance use help but also should not be running a winery. Do NOT go to Ten Bears, especially if you are alone, are a group of women, and/or care about the safety of women. Ladies, go to Sweetheart Winery in Loveland, never had an issue there.

Just got out of dinner here, I'm confused at to how this place has 3.8 stars…read more Just a fair warning, I don't drink. The drink menu here is 6 pages long compared to the 3 page food menu. Maybe the draw here is the drinks, I wouldn't know. We started off with the pepper jack cheese curds, which were actually pretty tasty, but it's hard to mess up cheese curds so not too many kudos there. Our entrees were extremely disappointing. The burger we got was dry, and looked like it had been nuked in a microwave. Frankly, Freddys burgers look more appetizing than the one we received. The sweet potato fries looked freshly unfrozen and sad. I got the crispy Mac and cheese with the brisket option. Brisket was fatty and dry, and the Mac and cheese was such a small portion, the 9 pieces of brisket they gave me made my plate look small. For Mac and cheese, it was alright. I've made better with $12 at home, but the brisket was extremely disappointing for the markup they charged. I almost forgot to mention, there was only about 12-13 people here, with 1/4 of those being individuals sitting at the bar. It took us close to 40 minutes to get our food! Absolute insanity since there was almost nobody here. Better yet, the food arrived lukewarm! Service was fine. Ambience was nice, the actual building itself was nice to sit in, but the food was so sad and overpriced, I'll probably never set foot in here again. I can get better Mac and cheese in the Walmart fresh food section and a better burger at Freddy's 10 minutes down the road.

Great selection and variety. It feels a little upscale here so doesn't always feel as comfy for a casual lunch with kids. I got a chicken ceasar salad and it was okay, nothing special. We loved the cheese curds and the kids meal options were good. We had a fantastic server, Miko/Mico. So helpful with the kids, was patient and checked in often. Love that. I'll always give them a chance as it's been around in town for decades now.

Much better coffee available around town. Espresso martini: 5/5 very dark. Great place to work with colleagues or alone. People seem to like to meet up here and talk vs work though. The electrical outlets are SPARSE. More about community than an extended office.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

The server came around and gave us freshly grated parm and freshly cracked pepper omfggggg!!!! The bolognese was good but the ravioli blew it out of the water it was sooo cheesy and the vodka sauce was unreal. The tiramisu was delicious. It wasn't a lot of chocolate and coffee mostly the cream which was light and airy and perfectly sweet. And it came w a cute flower garnish!

Starting off with the good - the service was good. The manager had a lot of positive personality. In general, the service staff is trying their best and there's no negative attitude. Great ! The ambiance was nice. Business appropriate , date appropriate. Nice night out level. However, the food. The most important part of dinner. Sadly, it was a bit disappointing. - meatballs: tasted processed. Not made from scratch. It may be the blend or the seasoning or both, but this was not something worth ordering at all. 3 small meatballs. A bit on the dry side. - the mushroom appetizer. Hardly any mushrooms on the middle of the fried outside. Really it was a shell of fried outside breading and very little of what resembled the taste or texture of mushrooms. Pass on this. -fungi pasta - this wasn't bad, but not a standout. 3 stars. Probably the best thing I ordered. - short beef ravioli - I'm not trying to be critical or harsh but this tasted like something I can buy as a microwaveable meal at Trader Joe's. Huge disappointment. If I needed a nice place to discuss business , I may go in to get drinks and light food. But if you're a foodie , or remotely emphasize food as an important part of a meal, I would probably pass, at least for now.
