Cute deli in laramie wyoming. Was clean and bright. Service was very friendly. Menu is labeled for gluten free and vegetarian. Was able to turn a salad vegan by pulling off the chicken and subbing avocado. Was pretty tasty. Price was average. Would come back if I were in laramie area. Came here to eat while in the Laramie area service was good and staff was super friendly. Although I would like to say I found a bug in my salad and my salad tasted of fish although that is not what I ordered. The place was a bit packed but it was no problem to me as it was during the lunch rush. The place had a slight smell to it but overall bright and pleasant. The Manager made it right by comping our meal but quality & taste was never present & typically can't be fixed in a franchise. Service was cheerful & pleasant. Had boring Italian sandwich that had wilted lettuce & minimal flavor. Also "nachos". Lumpy lukewarm queso, jarred jalapeños & brittle chips $8.99!! Profit margin 1000%!! Manager challenged us asking what establishment serves nachos with onions, tomatoes, beans, shred cheese etc as he's only known nachos as chips & cheese. Duh!! But he made it right... no need to return however if I'm always wondering what I'm getting. read more

I was happy with my service until I had to wait to get a box. The gentleman was taking an order so I was ok waiting. My problem was that there were 4 other people that could have asked what I needed. If they could not take an order had I had one that would have been fine. i was first in line when a door dasher went past me and got waited on right away. That is to me poor service. This was my first visit and I actually grabbed a lunch to go for someone else. I liked the menu, atmosphere and was impressed that the owner thanked me for coming in when I left. So, after dropping of the food, went right back for us. The food was fresh, and very tasty. Large portions and a great value. There was even a young last that came by as we eating and refilled our drinks!! I had the New York sandwich and a French dip potato. Recommend and we will go back. read more

We have now had three separate order issues. The mistakes were pretty bad (missing half of an order, wrong order). We have had issues with pick up orders and door dash orders. Be sure to order for pick up and verify your order. I do not recommend a third party delivery service from this location. The issues were because of McAlisters and not the delivery service. We will not be returning to this location. We should have learned our lesson the first two times they botched our order. read more

I've been to the restaurant a few times, but most recently I've been ordering online for delivery. This is one of the best places in Laramie for selection, service and value. I have always gotten a good meal from these folks, and am impressed by their selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well. I called ahead with our order to pick up while passing through Laramie. Went in and stood at the To Go counter for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Finally someone walked by and said he'd find someone to help us. Our food sat ready the whole time in front of us. When I was in college, this was one of a couple stops I'd regularly make with my buddies. The smothered nachos was the plate of choice back then. I remember never being able to finish the whole thing, but it was delicious. Also, bread bowls with chili or broccoli cheese soup were favorites. However, now that I'm done with school and have moved away, I rarely get to enjoy this McAlisters. That being said, the staff is still just as friendly and helpful. And, I've moved on to ordering the French Dip on a regular basis. I definitely am a fan of the sandwich and they always do it right. I think I will have to broaden my horizons after seeing what my brother and his wife ordered this last Saturday before the football game. The food is always good, maybe not great, but worth what you pay for. The drinks are always refilled quickly. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Anyone who says otherwise is just looking to pick a fight or is cranky. read more

That said, they have a wide selection of sandwiches, with a few good vegetarian options. The ingredients, from my experience, are all fresh, and the finished product fairly tasty. The service was fast, courteous and professional. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not encounter any rude employees. All in all, its a fairly inexpensive place for a quick meal, that is closer to a Panera than to a McDrizzles. One warning - as of the time of this review, McAlisters is running a "kids eat free" promotion on Tuesday nights. In and of itself, this is not so bad, especially if you have a kid and want it to eat for free. However, while there were plenty of cute kids with happy moms and dads enjoying the promotion, there were also a few "free range children" present, with a few parents who feel that it is OK to eat a meal in a restaurant while their child is sitting in a dirty diaper; which, you know, kinda kills the ambiance. And while this is by no means the fault of McAlisters, you may consider a different spot to grab a quick dinner on a Tuesday... read more
