However, another element of our experience set this establishment even higher in our estimation. Following our lunch stop, we were about 3 hours and 150 miles north of Laramie when I discovered I was missing my purse. I remembered I had slung it over the back of my chair at the deli, thinking, "Don't forget this!" and I DID. It had my wallet, driver's license, credit cards, cash and passport inside, and we were on a road trip from CO to WA, where I would be for a month. Couldn't exactly come back to get it too easily. I called, and one of the staff confirmed they had found my purse, and it looked to be intact. Well, long story short, they sent it to my destination in Seattle, Priority Express Mail, and they wouldn't even let me pay for the costly postage, let alone give a gratuity to the person who so kindly took time to box and send it from the post office. I was just floored by this above-and-beyond service -- not to mention the relief I felt, knowing that all my important financial means were in that purse, for nearly a month's worth of traveling. Thank from the bottom of my heart to this wonderful team. I am so incredibly grateful to this kind and caring staff, and I recommend their food very highly, too! Be sure to stop here in Laramie. We will certainly be back!

The server Hailey was just average however when I asked for the steak sandwich mid rare she said no problem. First the menu stated it was 6 oz of steak served open face on sour dough bread literally it came out 3oz of steak cooked beyond well done I feel it was cooked and held in a warmer it was tough and Luke warm. If I could give no star I would. First off, the wait stuff was very inattentive and not friendly. Then our food final came out my burger was soggy on the bottom. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak. DO NOT ORDER THIS. it came out cold as though the didn't cook it and it was tiny, not worth the $10. Always enjoy eating here, very friendly staff with good food. The Sunshine Crunch turkey sandwich is a particular favorite. It sits right across the street from a railroad track which I love because I happen to love watching trains, it's not distracting to the dining experience but does add fun to it. read more

That made it difficult to plan ahead or know what to expect before arriving. The host was initially kind enough to seat us at the bar so we would not be turned away, which we appreciated. We ordered a quick meatball dish to go and were told it would be about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, it ended up taking around 45 minutes. Had we been informed clearly from the beginning that the food would be significantly delayed, and that not having a reservation would place us at the back of the queue, we would have simply gone somewhere else and saved everyone the inconvenience. By the time the food arrived, we were tired and frustrated. During the wait, it was explained to us that because we did not have a reservation, other orders had to be prioritized ahead of ours. While the meal was ultimately provided at no charge, the overall experience was stressful and not ideal for travelers on a tight schedule.
