Super fun experience. It was the first time any of us had done an escape room so staff was super nice and helpful. We did a live escape room (Temple) and also a VR one (Dragons). The hardest part is having to wear the VR gear along with your mask, but can't help. It just gets hot. Parking is street metered parking but there's lots of it. Since it was the weekend and night, we were able to park right in front of the building. Overall loved it. read more

We did the live Temple escape room. I've done probably upwards of 20 escape rooms and this is one of my favorites ever. It's such a cool experience - the puzzles are next level and it really feels like you're stepping into an Indiana Jones or The Mummy adventure. Parts of the room felt downright magical, and the whole group really enjoyed it. I felt like the price was truly worth it for the quality of the room and the enjoyment we got out of solving the puzzles. There were also a variety of different puzzles, so it felt like everyone in our group got a moment to shine. Overall, a great experience. We're hoping to come back soon to try one of the VR rooms, but this live room is well worth it. Can't recommend enough, and wish they had another live room because the quality was just so epic. read more

I didn't know what to expect when going to this escape room and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The first escape room I did was the live escape room and it was me and one other person and it was so much fun, The puzzles were difficult but not enough to not be able to solve. The guy who helped us was very nice and the place was very well put together. Even the room where you enter the front desk is very nice and clean and overall well put together. I have now been back twice to do the VR versions of their escape rooms and even those experiences have been great. I have to admit it does not compare to the live escape room but nevertheless it is a ton of fun I highly recommend Chambers escape to anyone looking for something fun and interesting to do a definite 10 out of 10. They even have an incentive for completing and doing all four escape rooms which I think is a very cool concept and it is why I keep going back until I complete all four which will enter you into a masters escape room that you can only do if you complete all the rest. After you complete each escape room they give you a badge and a picture as well. read more

The experience was so immersive. We did both the Temple and the VR astronauts and they were really cool and well thought. The Temple was hands down the best 3rd generation escape room I have ever been to as far as prop design, decoration, fluidity and most importantly the puzzles. The astronaut VR was my first ever VR escape room and it was really well made. The games didn't feel like games. They really served the story well and the gear was really high quality. So it is definitely worth the price for the experience. How it works, you strap on the cool gear and get transported to a faraway land. It is more immersive than any other room that I've done. Having never tried before our family bored from the rain chose to go and found it to be a lot of fun for a family of four and will return! It's truly something unique to do on an evening out and a great option to dinner and a Movie. I visited Chambers Escape Games incognito once and the next day I visited again and used my actual name. I wanted to give an honest impression without receiving special treatment because I wrote an unfavorable review. The owner is passionate about his business almost to the point of obsession. I mean this in the best way possible. It is honestly inspiring to see such dedication. What impressed me most was the fact that his employees were equally as enthusiastic. I can't overstate how terrific they were. They seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. Best service I have received from any Escape Room I've tried. The escape room itself-we did the "Temple"-was the best one I've experienced. I've been to escape rooms in SF, San Diego and LA. I was initially unsure about the VR games they offer but it was fantastic. I tried the Dragon themed one. How exciting! I am excited to try out the other rooms and I can't wait to try their new room which from my understanding is a quite a ways off from being finished. Not sure how I feel about this place. I came with a group of 7 and I called ahead to make a reservation. I looked up this place and it had excellent reviews because it's VR (virtual reality) however when we arrived there was no one at the front desk for 5 minutes and we arrived early at 1:20 for our 1:30 reservation. We found out when she arrived that we wouldn't be doing virtual reality since there's too many people and it can only be for up to 4 people: online it didn't mention that and the temple room was meant for up to 8 people. When I called I wasn't informed it wouldn't be virtual reality with 8 people. I wish I would've known because I may have chosen a different place. There's only one escape room for a big group and other rooms are game rooms which can accommodate up to 4 people and are VR. Disappointed because I really wanted the VR experience. The escape room was fun, not sure if it was too easy cause the clues were pretty straight forward but the end was tricky. Finished in 40 mins with one clue! You can park in the meters on the street right in front for free or depending what time you go. read more

My friend and I decided to take the kids while they had a deal of every third player was free, and we had a blast. We did the live one as we had a party of 6. The kids were initially disappointed it wasn't the VR, but in the end the two 11 year old boys determined it was the best one they have ever done because it was more immersive and they felt like Indiana Jones. Tyler was working that day and he was great and very patient with our 4 elementary aged kids who were bouncing off the walls. Such an amazing adventure! My family and I went for my mom's birthday. From the moment we stepped in the building there was a mysteriously inviting atmosphere set. THE BEST ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE ON THE ISLAND HANDS DOWN. We've done our fair share of escape rooms but this one was more of a sensory and theatrical experience that made the challenge SO SO SO FUN! I recommend checking groupon for offers for VR and live escape rooms - they will soon be opening a second live escape room. Our host was very friendly and helped us along when we seemed to be stuck. The challenges were slightly easier than the traditionally combination lock codes where you search for a series of numbers - but I didn't mind it! Overall our hearts were racing and adrenaline was pumping as we solved the riddles and escaped the Temple with lots of time to spare! read more

My boyfriend heard about escape rooms from the radio and made a booking for the same day. Making a booking online was super quick and easy. Parking is unfortunately only street parking. Upon arrival, we were greeted/welcomed immediately. The people ahead of us still had a few min left and Keith was really nice about letting us know he was going to go ahead and set the room up for us. He was our game operator for the night, he was super nice and funny! The virtual reality experience was amazing, would definitely recommend. We also had the add on of the mental asylum, we paid the $10 extra to be able to see what we looked like which was hilarious. I have always wanted to do an escape room. My husband surprised me with the best "non-traditional" Valentine's Day outing. The location of Chambers is easy to find downtown and if you arrive after 630pm, there's free street parking! Keith was the best host!!! He explained everything in detail and was patient with us being first timers. He was so helpful too. I was getting a bit frustrated but after a few helpful hints, it made us think outside the box. I was hesitant at first since the last time I went to the Waikiki lock room, I felt boxed in and overly stimulated by all that was going on. This time was completely different, the live "Egypt Tower" challenge was exceptionally well done. Our 10 and 12 year old teamed well together and stayed motivated throughout the whole hour! Can you believe it, the kids didn't miss their electronics at all, they were in the game instead of gaming on their devices (yahoo)! We asked for clues from Emma, our guide who was in the space with us. She stepped in with the right nudges/clues but allowed us to figure things out too. We, as a group, came here for my birthday. Emma greeted us nicely. She took us to the front desk and explained briefly what we got ourselves into. She clearly explained each scenario and told us what each entails. We took the pharaoh escape room as it was our first time. Something easy, yet, challenging - lots of brain work. During the game there were a lot of thinking, screaming, and definitely fun. (Keep in mind though - THIS IS A GROUP ACTIVITY.) We nearly escape the room with 60 seconds to spare. (Remember to use your clues wisely.) All in all this escape room is AWESOME! I totally recommend this CHAMBERS ESCAPE GAME.
