My boyfriend and I recently moved to the neighborhood and came in hoping for a relaxing pedicure experience, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. Both technicians left midway through my services to help other clients, leaving me waiting and unfinished. I requested a simple clean up and buff with no polish, but my nails were left rough and scratched instead of smooth. The massage that was supposed to be included was completely skipped, and when I mentioned it, I was told it had already been done, which it hadn't. My boyfriend received a full massage during his pedicure while I received none. He was also left sitting in used spa water long after his service was over. Overall, we left feeling worse than when we arrived and won't be returning! Really bummed as I was hoping this could become my go to spot! read more

I had my daughter enrolled in School of rock but I soon realized they weren't teaching her how to read music or music, she was just learning to play the same 5 songs for their performance. I had to find a different school that can actually teach her music and how to read it and that's when we found Bravo. I love the fact that they too have performances for the kiddos to sho off their learned skills. Mrs. Lee is amazing! She's taught my daughter so much in such little time! She has an amazing way of connecting with my daughter to make it fun for her. My daughter also takes drum lessons and is so happy with her classes there. I highly recommend this school to any parent or student who is passionate about music and actually learning it. read more

Stopped in on a whim and they took me right in on a Thursday! Ryan gave me a spa mani and pedi which rocked because it wasn't too insane or loud and a very friendly environment. Ryan has a rad tattoo which meant "calm" which was true to his nature! I will definitely come back as this was truly a treat for me! Cash price $45. And Credit card was $50. Came in on a very busy Saturday around 11:30am and they graciously took me in without an appointment. I sat for a while picking colors and by the time someone was able to start working on my nails it was about 12pm. By 12:30pm I was already out the door with a fresh gel manicure that came out super cute and exactly as I wanted! The lady doing my nails said they do tend to get very busy on weekends and she recommends coming early in the morning if possible. They're one of the few salons open before 9am so if you're looking to walk-in, would def recommend going when they open! read more

The service was great, they were all very nice, it's a very small salon but seemed busy. I got a dip nail manicure and a pedicure, the pedicure was fine but she cut my toenails too short and rounded and resulted in an ingrown nail. The manicure was fine, there wasn't much other than the dip/polish, no work on my cuticles or anything that are usually included when getting a manicure. That being said, the nails look fine, but the pedicurist could have been better trained and the manicure could have some more benefit to it for the price. I paid $100 plus $20 tip, so definitely not cheap. Update: Nails started lifting after only a week and a half due to the lack of prep, i've been super careful but unfortunately the nail tech did not do a thorough job. Usually when i get nails they don't start lifting until 2-3 weeks at the earliest, will not be coming back here unfortunately. read more

After a negative experience at Lux, we decided to venture away from the main downtown area. Angels was still close to the main area, but far enough so that street parking was plentiful, and I'm so glad we found them. It was a busy weekend and we called for a same day appointment, and they were kind enough to make room for us. The front of the shop looked pretty standard, but they had a back room that looks like it's used for overflow. In the back, the massage chairs looked old and worn. We were a bit apprehensive at first about what we had gotten into, but that quickly dissipated as they proceeded to give us the best pedicure we've had in a while. I got a regular pedi, and my friend got a gel French pedi. It looked flawless, and she even said it was the best lines that she's ever gotten with a French pedi. Made a reservation not get a pedicure but ended up with a gel manicure instead! I got a single colored (white) gel mani for $35 (plus tip), which I thought Was reasonable in price. They set up shop outdoors in the courtyard. I felt pretty safe getting my nails done w my friends. :) I actually preferred getting my nails done here as opposed to State Street or other busier spaces since you're away from foot traffic and crowds of people. Worst Gel manicure I've ever had. Came in last Saturday to get a gel mani pedi before a trip to Jamaica as my usual place was booked. Service wasnt great, the guy BARELY did my cuticles and calluses (rough feet in less than a day) but worst of all here I am in Jamaica only 5 days later and 4 of my nails have completely peeled off already. I've been getting gels for years and never had a set fall apart so fast. Usually at least 2 weeks before you see wear. Now I'm stuck in Jamaica and can't get them fixed. Really really disappointed that they didn't last longer than 5 days. Would never come here again. read more
