    Champion Pool was assigned to repair our pool pump by Choice Home Warranty on August 29, 2024. They later inspected the pump, determined it needed a new pump. For the next 3 weeks they did not show up for three confirmed appointments wasting 24 hours of my time. After 4 weeks without a pump they would not answer the phone, return texts or VM's. Then on 9/26/24 Champion Pool Service texted and said they were arriving on a day they knew we were out of town. Arriving home I found they had replaced the pump with a USED Pump that was seized and unusable. It would not turn. They reset my Aqualink system out of "service mode", back to normal so the seized motor would attempt to run for 8 hours a day. Using Electricity and creating a possible fire hazard. This company should not be allowed to operate in TEXAS. They committed FRAUD, created a safety hazard, and should loose their license immediately.

    POOL SERVICE TECH LIED TO MY WARRANTY COMPANY - I was having problems with my pool heater not working. The warranty company sent out a tech from Champion Pool Service. He told me that my pool was not sending enough water to the pool heater for it to work properly. He told me to buy new filters and it should work. I bought the filters and the heater still did not work. So I tried and tried to get a hold of Champion Pools. I left several recorded messages (They don't talk directly to their home warranty customers. They send them to voicemail.) I then called the warrant company and they told me that they received a report from Champion Pools saying that the heater had prior damage from rodents and they denied my coverage. The pool service tech said NOTHING about any damage. In fact, he said he did NOT find any damage and that it was the pool filters causing the problem. Basically, the tech filed a report that lied about the problem so that my claim would be denied. He sent photos to the warranty company that showed NO DAMAGE. So I paid $85 to have a Champion Pool Service Tech come to my home to lie the warranty company so that my claim would be denied. I've attached the exact same photos that were sent to the warranty company. There is no damage in these photos.

    This SHOULD BE ZERO STARS They have been non-responsive after many phone calls from me and the warranty company. Now been over 6 weeks and my pool is a filthy green. I reached out to JEN and she has not returned a single phone call. My warranty company has reached out to them as well and No response to them. The part has been delivered and is available, but they choose to not even return a phone call. I am not certain why a company would not even return a call. Their service person assigned to me has texted me three times and he says he has not gotten a response so there is nothing he can do to help me. My pool may now need to be drained AND REFILLED IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE CLEAN AGAIN, I have left over 10 messages and still nothing, I also emailed the service manager and VP of company NICK, and still no response.

    6/19/23 my pool is still not in swimming condition. Excuses every time and they never show when they say they are. How this company can stay in business is beyond me!

    If I could give this place 0 stars I would. 1) the technician (Trevor) came buy, didn't look at anything and said he back. He was supposed to come back came back the next day. 2) Then (jen) never passed on a message to Trevor that my gate was unlocked, so Trevor checked the gate before the message was passed so he left, didn't ring the bell or anything. 3) Now (Nick) the Service manager won't send anyone out because of my previous review. So try not to use this company at all. I also contacted the bbb.

Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

Something that sets Cerulean apart is that they are honest and truly look out for their customers. When it comes to maintaining the equipment they remind us so we don't forget. Also, and really important to me, they truly work in our best interest with repairs and replacements of the pool equipment. They've saved us a bunch of money in helping us get all the useful life out of the equipment. Their communication is also excellent. We have two dogs. I asked that they text before they come so I can ensure the dogs are inside. They always text 30 minutes prior to arrival. Additionally, when holidays are coming up, they adjust their schedule to ensure all their clients get serviced. Sam always sends a message to let us know they'll come on a different day due to the holiday. I cannot say enough about the level of service Josh, Sam and the whole team provide. There are always repairs that go unanswered however they continuously send techs who are unable to complete their job bc the repair still hasn't been done. This is a MANAGEMENT problem! not a tech problem but he money farms his costumers despite the lack of service actually being conducted.

    We were given a timeline of a month or two on completing our pool on December 2021. That included…read morecoping, tile and plaster. Tile was pre-paid, coping was selected and contract was signed. There were some issues with setting and managing expectations up front but in the end, we are happy with the final product. It is 4/28/22 and pool coping, tile and plaster are complete. We had a 4 month wait and it took 1 month to get the job done. There were a few unexpected expenses during the project but that is to be expected for a project like this. By the time the project was complete we ended up paying roughly 20% more than the quoted amount. Also, we had to choose different coping as the one we originally chose was no longer available due to supply chain issues. There are a lot of shortages going on right now. Workers and supplies. This is not a fault of Blue Escapes, these are just the times now and unfortunately, we along with Blue Escapes were caught in it. This along with price hikes on everything (plaster, tile, etc.) which we weren't charged extra for. Blue Escapes uses quality workers. Watching them lay the tile and take their time with each tile they laid just solidified why it takes a while to complete these remodels. The owner is an honest man who is a wealth of knowledge. Bob (the owner) came out to ensure each step was completed to his satisfaction.
