Just a little hole in the wall, if you drive too fast you'll miss it. Clean inside, super friendly staff will help you pick item if you are unfamiliar with cuisine. I took the safe bet; Pepper Steak (bell pepper not hot). Huge platter - didn't realize all food is served family style until it was on the table -yikes. Our water was infused with guava; very good. There really are so many great sounding lunch specials, but I just had to try the trout, with a side of sticky rice and it was really excellent. I can't help being concerned though since when I was there for lunch today while in Lodi for an appointment, I was the only one there from noon until almost one. This place is located where "Taste of Thai" used to be, new owners as I was told the former owner retired. After a morning of shopping, I stopped by for a late lunch at 2 pm. I had the place to myself and the place was as neat and clean, as the former restaurant. I was craving a the barbecue my coworkers and I would order, so I decided on the chicken barbecue. Veggies sounded good too so I also ordered the basil eggplant veggie style (no meat). I didn't know they served papaya salad until looking at a poster, so I asked for it to go. Yes, this sounds like a lot of food as my finance reminded me, but I did take a lot home. The eggplant dish was slightly salty, but not swimming in sauce like cheap Chinese food. The barbecue was OK, but the papaya salad was really good. No really fishy like what Green Papaya (check out my other review) makes. This ones topped with chopped peanuts and cherry tomatoes. I was also given complimentary egg rolls, very good but there was something mushy like cabbage (probably freezing the pre made egg rolls did this). Great service and very friendly owner. I have been slacking on doing this... I took my GF to try this place out, well let me tell you. I ordered thai Basil beef and she ordered shrimp pad thai with an appetizer of squid. the squid was fabulous. We got our meals and mine was off the charts Awesome. My GF loved her shrimp pad thai but what hit me the most was I asked for mine to be really hot and I was brought a side dish of different kinds of thai peppers. Holy Moly! They were awesome and very hot. I told the owner the these things were like little terrorist's in your mouth but the flavor of the thai basil beef and these I couldn't get enough. Saturday night, my Wife (not a Thai fan) and my adult son (big Thai fan) went here as our normal Sat night place was not available. This was our first visit. Pros: This place is clean as a whistle Food was excellent* Cons: Food a little pricey (just a little) portions a little small (just a little) waiter spoke little English, so ordering outside the menu impossible* *both of the asterisks relate to my wife's order. She is not a Thai fan (also not a hater) and she ordered something that normally comes with Peanut sauce, but without the sauce.because she dislikes peanuts. At the initial order the waiter got it, and sent the order to the kitchen. The order came and there was literally no sauce. I mean drier than a popcorn fart. So I asked the waiter if there was any kind of sauce we could get on it to make it edible, and he did not understand the question after multiple tries. So we gave up and ate half of it dry, took the remainder home and put some random teriyaki type sauce we had around in order to finish it. I can't hold it against the cook, he put on the plate exactly what was on the ticket. read more

What we got was, steamed rice with sauce on top, steamed noodles with sauce on top and decent rangoons (at best). This place is a crock of shi*%. Do not waste your money here. this place is amazing!! i went here with my dad for lunch a few days ago to try the Pho... was not disappointed!! we were iffy at first because pho is traditionally a Vietnamese food, but we were thoroughly surprised! i got the beef pho and it was delicious! the beef was tender and cooked amazingly and the broth... the broth was just WOW! my dad got the roasted duck pho and O.M.G.!! the duck was so good!! might i also add our server, her name was Pon, was amazing! so much energy and love and happiness resonated off of this lady! she was just a hoot to talk to and be around. prompt, but also kept a personal "we're friends" vibe to her. i love her!!!, the prices are also super amazing! 9.95 for a bowl of Pho... big bowl!!! lots of noodles and toppings! and to top it all off, we got some Thai Milk Tea to go after our meal, me and dad were STUFFED! highly recommend this place!! read more

Really disappointed. My BF said it was one of the best Thai places in town. NOT. We ordered calamari for an appetizer, a soup, cucumber salad, honey duck and two rice sides. After speaking with the waitress on the size of the rice side (she said it was for one person) we ordered two. What comes out as our appetizer? Two huge plates of steaming rice....and that's it. After we finally flag her down we ask for some soy sauce. She brings it. Another 15 minutes later we get the calamari (looked pre frozen), soup and duck. I mean... I have never had Tom Kha soup so flavorless and the duck made me gag. The poor waitress acted like she didn't know much, so if she was new the cook should of realized rice is not an appetizer. I never got my cucumber salad because she never wrote it down! It was not a busy night either...first clue for a Saturday! Watching the people go into the bar next door was amusing. read more

I've ordered delivery every time. Always gets to my house fast. Always good, very consistent. A favorite is the Pad Kee Mao, it's fantastic. The wide noodles and tasty sauce make it hard to share ha. The only thing that makes me sad is that the fresh rolls don't come with peanut sauce, they come with a sweet sauce, and it's 3 dollars to get that yummy peanut sauce added on extra. We have been going to this restaurant for about 5 years maybe every 2-3 weeks. Lately not so much as we moved farther away. When we started going here the food and service was great. They would even deliver to our house. The woman would even remember my order. The last few times the service sucked and the food not so great. Tonight I stoped in and placed a to go order to take home to the family. I ordered three dinners to go. The woman up front told me that two of the items were not on the menu and I had to open a menu and show her that it was. I paid for my food and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I sat down and waited. During this time one table had to walk upfront and ask that someone to come take their order. Another had a issue with the tab. After 25 minutes I asked if the order was ready yet and was told almost. I sat back down. Three times they asked me what my order was and when I answered ran back to the kitchen. I waited one hour and five minutes from the time I ordered until my order was ready. When she brought it out I was asked for payment again and had to argue that I paid already. When I got home the food was really not that good and half of it was cold and dried out, it took me 11 minutes to get home. Sadly They just lost me as a customer and I'll be going elsewhere from now on. I understand that things happen but after so many poor recent visits that's it! read more

This place is awesome. Everything I've had here has been delicious. I've had spring rolls, crab Rangoon, various curries, etc. Still need to try pad Thai but I'll get around to that eventually. Sometimes I'll go here for my just woke up coffee because their Thai coffee is some of the best coffee I've had. Unsure what's in it but it's delicious. I ordered through Grub Hub since I was visiting from out of town and at a hotel far from any good food. I ordered yellow curry and pad thai noodles with two iced teas. They threw in some egg rolls, which was nice. The food was tasty, but I thought I'd get rice with the curry, but I didn't. Also, the ingredients in the curry were not as advertised, but it was still good. The pad thai noodles were tasty. Probably the worst thing was ordering iced tea for $2.50 and getting about 6 ounces of tea for that price. That was pretty lame. read more

We always want our food as spicy as it comes and their food made us sweat (literally!!). We were so impressed with the authentic and clean flavor as well as the service.
