It was my first time trying this spot and I must say it was pretty good. The servers were nice. The reviews did mention how dark it was inside and I would have to agree. Although it was a little darker than most restaurants I was still able to enjoy and see my food. Just use flash if you're taking any photos! Started off with the Thai Tea and wow it was 10/10. It was my first time having Thai tea and I absolutely loved it. I even ordered one to go! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and medium heat. Just a heads up if you don't like spicy I would not recommend medium. It was pretty hot even though I am a spicy kinda gal. Probably why their name is spice it up -- they did not hold back. We came here for a post college graduation celebration on Saturday. There were 14 of us. They were very accommodating, considering that I made the reservation the day before. When we arrived, our tables were set up and we sat down. The restaurant looked clean and there were a few patrons eating and some picking up food to go. Let me start off with saying that the food was really good. It was fresh and seasoned just right. We ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, a couple of different curries, and sweet and sour fish. In regard to the service, it looked like there were only 2 employees working that day, the cook and an employee who was the cashier/server/table busser. This employee was friendly and did the best she could, but it was a lot for her to perform all of these roles. Our food was brought out in waves, a few dishes at a time. She hardly came over to check on us or refill our waters unless I asked. We ordered more food and it was a while before more food came out. When we were finished, the cook came out and introduced himself. He told us he was the only cook. This probably explained why our food didn't come out all together and why it took so long. I suppose that on a typical Saturday afternoon, one cook would have been enough. I would like to think that if I made the reservation sooner, they could have planned for enough help. Overall, our group experience was not the greatest. The food was certainly good. The service could use a lot of improvement. I'm sure if you don't go with a group, you'd be fine. read more

10/10 I'm so happy we found this gem!!! We came here for an early Saturday dinner and sat ourselves. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We tried the garlic ribs appetizer, red curry Lao noodle soup with chicken, and pad see ew with chicken and tofu. The ribs were super sticky and flavorful, the portion size was appetizer appropriate. The red curry noodle soup was my favorite! It was so creamy and the noodles weren't soggy. We even took the last bits of soup home with us . The pad see ew was also amazing but on the sweeter side. Went on a Monday afternoon for an early dinner. We were seated right away. My Grandma had a wheelchair and she was able to eat and reach the table so that was good. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Our server was very attentive and kind. Her service was amazing. We had a variety of dishes. My favorite is the Pad Thai. It's very flavorful and saucy. I give it a 10/10. The fried fish was delicious too. The grilled chicken was tasty as well with the sauce. The meal total was almost $150 because we also got desserts and drinks. Their Laab is really good. Probably one of my favorites that you can get in the stockton/lodi area. Their fried fish is also a favorite of mine. Have only ever gotten take out from here, but always friendly staff when I go to pick up my order. Be careful with the spice level though, the first time I order spicy I definitely got that and more haha. Now I order a more mild/medium and if I want to make it slightly spicy, I'll add some laab namtok seasoning I get from the store. Compliments it nicely. read more

We decided to order and share the Fresh Shrimp Roll, Chicken Pad Sa-Ew, Lao Sausage, Lao Noodle Soup, and Mango Sticky Rice. All of the food dishes were truly palatable and flavorful! The fresh roll was great, especially dipped into the peanut sauce. The pad se-ew noodles and veggies were on point. I loved the lemongrass flavor in the sausage. The noodle soup was tasty. I had my first dine in experience here yesterday but I have frequented this restaurant for take out ! It is my go to restaurant for Thai food . I really love their pad kee mao and sticky rice . You can specifiy how spicy you would like it but if you get it the most spicy - beware - it is very hot ! I get mild and ask for chili on the side. I also like their mango sticky rice .' Stopped by here for a quick bite after a long road trip, and I'm glad I did! This place does both Thai and Laotian food, which is an interesting mix, but I think the two cuisines really enhanced each other. We ordered the Tom Kha, the Basil chicken with a side of rice, and Nam Khao, a Laotian dish made of heavily seasoned pork, crispy rice, herbs, all wrapped in a lettuce wrap. The Tom Kha was extra flavorful due to a dash of curry on top, but the Basil Chicken was just sort of "meh", which kind of falls in line with most Basil Chicken that I've had. The Nam Khao was definitely the standout dish, which was delicious both in taste and in texture. I wish we did have a little bit of dipping sauce but overall it was excellent. For sometime my husband and I have wanted to try this place. Man I wish I would have gone sooner! We absolutely loved it. And yes I get the dishes aren't any ruing we have heard of or seen but by far it's been the place with the best flavors! We went on Labor Day so we expected it would be fairly empty but I have no doubt on most days it's filled with people. The waitress was attentive and helpful and answered some of the questions that I had in regards to ordering.. The place is spacious and clean, and I loved the background music. I'm never a fan of TVs and restaurants, but I did appreciate that the TV was muted, leaving great background music to set the mood. We did take dessert home and it was delishhhh as well!
