    Thai Tea

Stopped by with family after dinner Saturday night. There were quite a few of us and only two people working, but we got our rolled ice cream as quickly as we ordered them. One of our kids dropped his the minute he got it and they happily made him another one. They were patient and kind despite us being a bit rowdy. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town! The only disappointing thing was that they no longer serve bubble waffles, I was looking forward to that!

Thankful for late night sweet treats on a Sunday! Champloo at Towers delivers delicious rolled ice cream treats and REALLY good boba tea. We frequent Vivi Bubble Tea in NYC and Champloo's boba is right up there with Vivi. We were lucky enough to get the chance to have pumpkin spice ice cream with whipped cream, cinnamon and caramel in this rainy and cold Sunday. Perfect way to end the night. We will definitely be back!

I came in again and one of the employees behind the counter isn't wearing a mask?? He is a dark-haired tan boy for reference. Then, an entire family without masks came in WHILE there was an elderly couple in here. I am so confused as to what this business is trying to do. Please get new management.

Peach cobbler and chocolate rocky road for the win tonight! Family friendly, great music and an overall good place to enjoy some ice cream.

I remember the first time I had a drink with Boba. It was a unique experience in and of itself. And…read moreso when I found out that this Panda Boba had just opened its door in a very desired location in Vinton, Virginia, I had to be the first one to go explore and see what it was all about. Located across the street from Pollard 107 South Restaurant, in the Town of Vinton, Panda Boba is housed in a modern, small open space area furnish with simple yet elegant and comfortable furniture. The owners are a couple Vietnamese immigrants who were very welcoming and hospitable when I entered the restaurant for the first time. The menu included a great variety of flavored Bubble Teas and Smoothies with the option of including two types of bobas: the traditional ones which are chewy, small tapioca pearls that are commonly added to bubble tea drinks. Bobas are made from tapioca starch extracted from the cassava root, giving them a distinctive chewy texture when you bite into them. And another type that are filled with flavored juices inside so when you bite into them these flavors are released. The wife and one of the owners of the business was the one I first met when I arrived to this unique business. She greeted me warmly from behind the counter with a big smile. There was a small menu on the counter and a large, lit version hanging from the wall behind the counter. I ordered a Mango Smoothie with the Bobas that had the Mango flavored juice inside. She immediately went to work making my Mango Smoothie with bobas. As she was doing so, her husband, the co-owner, and son arrived. It brought back some happy memories because when I was growing up my father also opened a cafeteria business in San Juan, Puerto Rico, that ended up being very successful and made it possible for me going to the college of my choice. As I sat down drinking my Smoothie through a wide straw that allowed the bobas to slip up, a couple came in and made an order as well. They also seemed happy to have this new business here. I highly recommend that those reading this review go and try it out. You'll discover a refreshing drink with bobas that will give it a special texture never to be forgotten.

Pleased to find a boba shop in Roanoke, I certainly wanted it to succeed. The hours are a bit odd,…read morebut there was some notable quality of ingredients. However, ordering a fruit-flavored tea with one topping set me back over $10 with tip. Unless tea is being brought from the Strait of Hormuz, this seems unrealistic to me. I've had a lot of better bubble teas for a better value, but of course these were in bigger cities. Maybe it's just too tough to bring a quality product to Roanoke. I hope the area can support a place like this, but I'm a little skeptical unfortunately.

So naturally when I heard about this casual spot in the Valley View Mall serving these and other Signature Drinks and Akai Bowls I immediately planed a trip to the Mall to try it out. This very unique establishment located in the Food Court of the Valley View Mall in a location behind a large window counter near the Barnes and Nobles Bookstore and Food Court tables and chairs, is one of the businesses in the Mall that is continously full with people of all ages: families, friends, and others, wanting to enjoy some quality time together, enjoying a special treat and drink. When I arrived at the place I examined the menu located above the wall in bright menu displays. A young lady employee greeted me with a smile and took my order. I ordered an Iced Thai Bubble Tea with Boba and some Ohio Crepes with Peanut Butter, Nutella, Banana, and Crushed Cookies. Both items were very fresh and delicious. As I enjoyed eating and savoring the Crepes at one of the tables in the Food Court area of the Mall, I observed many other people passing by this business and ordering especially Smoothies and Specialty Drinks. I highly recommend this place whenever you want to enjoy a special Crepes treat and freshen up with a cool glass of a Smoothie or Specialty Drink.
