I asked the server if I could substitute a similar tap beer since they were out of everything on special except Blue Moon which I do not care for. The server said she had to ask the manager. Really Champps? Empower your associates to provide customer service. That should have been the first indicator of poor management. I was shocked when the server came back and said the manager said no. Again really??? So it's the customers fault that you are out of the featured beers in your special and. now you won't even substitute another tap beer for your lack of ordering enough product for your special. It's a sports bar, so unless you've just arrived from a foreign country that isn't Canada, you likely know what you're getting into when you go here for dinner or lunch. Food is typical fare of burgers, sandwiches, and such. The salads also looked pretty good, but when it's subfreezing, I'd rather eat something warm. Plenty of parking since it's out in the 'burbs and sort of part of a strip mall. Service was friendly and efficient. We've been here a couple times to watch UFC fights, and have been pleased each and every time. There's more than enough drink and food options to please anyone, and everything is prepared very well. My bourbon sour was poured well, which is nice considering it's a $9 drink. The food is ok for a sports bar and the servers are pretty attentive. I've been here several times and never had a bad experience. Food is nothing too special but consistent and well made - burgers are a good deal, especially when half priced. Friends love their "championship" onion rings. Appetizers are ok too. I've had terrible service here on more than one occasion, but it is usually about average. The food is almost always yummy, which is what keeps me coming back. They almost always have some beer specials in the evening, in addition to their normal happy hour. We have been here 4 times. Each at different times of day. Bar service is impeccable! Always on top of it and are looking out for the customer as far as pointing out happy hour etc. The food has always been good. And drinks and service are above par! Would rate zero stars if I could. I ordered through DoorDash and called in after I placed my order to make a modification to my order as it wouldn't allow me to in the Door Dash app. The lady confirmed they could, and noted on my order. I received the order incorrect so I gave Champps a call and told them the situation, they then placed me on hold, never again to come to the phone. I called back and asked for a manager and heard a snarky response from an employee asking what the issue is, they told me I could come pick up the corrected order myself. I did so, and was greeted rudely at the counter and not once was given an apology for the inconvenience. The whole point of ordering delivery is to not have to go get the food yourself. Just pathetic. A simple note on the food was too hard to comprehend. I even emailed management and it's been 2 weeks with no response. Came here with a friend for lunch on a Sunday morning. There were very few patrons present but many staff members available. We seated ourselves as the hostess did not acknowledge us. We had to ask for a server. When our server brought us our drinks he asked if we were ready to order. We told him that he had already taken our order. The service was slow as posted in some of the other reviews here. The other problem was our server was really pushy about specific menu items, which you could tell she was told to push. She was rushing to take our order and kept asking what we wanted before even looking at the menu. The menu offers a large selection of items including an insert of summer foods. The chicken tacos did not have much flavor, came on the plate with a metal stand to hold each of the tacos out of a large amount of liquid on the plate. The vodka farfalle pasta had a few pieces of chicken but the only flavor came from a few of the sun dried tomatoes on top. Everything was rather expensive for what we got. Family had lunch today at Champs. My wife has a severe gluten reaction. Waitress was smug and disinterested in making sure that food was entered and served correctly. Wife said the food tasted great, but started running for the bathroom about one hour after we ate. Really do not think it is the waitresses fault, but maybe management needs to train their staff in actually giving a shit about what may happen to gluten sensitive customers. I go to this location on occasion because it is conviently located near work, but it is really not that great for happy hour. They never seem to have that many specials. The food is a little pricey, but decent. If it is warm enough to sit outside, I would reccomend the patio. Oh and parking is very limited so you may have to park across the street. read more

Stopped in for lunch while running errands in the area and was very impressed with how friendly the staff is at this location. I sat at a high top in the bar by myself and my server Dan was great. He allowed me to do a lunch portion salad even though the menu said it was only available weekdays. He was also very on top of things and I never sat with dirty dishes on my table - my check was picked up the minute I put my card in the check presenter. A different employee brought out my lunch and was very friendly, and a third server brought me extra dressing when I asked - and everyone was smiling and happy! Unfortunately had a bad experience without even getting into the restaurant. We had a large group, and phoned ahead. We asked what time they would be able to seat us, great, 7:30. We were OK with that...we arrived at the restaurant to find out it would be an additional hour wait. We had 15 hungry children with us that had been waiting. There was even an entire area that was open, but even though the manager stated, "Thursday is a big party night", there were only nine servers and couldn't do anything about it.
