We really loved it here. There was a concert and we arrived with plenty of time to have a relaxing meal. There were people giving the hostess a hard time because she wasn't seating people nonstop. The manager and hostess were very polite and thanked us for being patient. Our waitress was very busy but got our drinks pretty quickly. We ordered and appetizer and dinner. The fries were crispy and had a good amount of seasoning. My forager flatbread was fantastic and my husband enjoyed his beyond burger. We came to the casino and decided to eat here since the steakhouse was full. It is a ways to get here from the casino, but it was great to be in a quiet environment. Staff was very friendly and nice, food came out pretty fast too. We started with the pretzel, and honestly, this was the best part of the meal. It comes out on its own hanger, so cool. I would come back for this alone. The 4 of us had a hard time eating it all. We loved this! For entrees, I got the mushroom flatbread, and that was pretty good. Not too heavy and had good flavor. Others got the Mac and cheese, burger, and some sandwich. Everyone thought the meals were not bad, had good flavor. And very filling! Overall, if you find yourself here and don't want to eat at the steakhouse, this is a fine substitute for that. Come and enjoy the quiet restaurant without the sound of slot machine outside. We were staying at Mystic for a concert and decided to go to the Meadows for a bite to eat before the show. When we arrived it was not very busy and were seated promptly. We ordered a couple of beverages appetizer of Shrimp ceviche and split a Reuben with fries . The ceviche was very disappointing it was basically salsa with some whole precooked shrimp and the style of service was also not good see the photo. We have dined here a a few times and each time we have enjoyed the food, experience and service. We especially like the walleye sandwich - it has always been very well prepared with excellent sides. Additionally, their menu prices are very reasonable. All in - we would definitely recommend this restaurant whether as a 19th hole get together or a break from the slots. read more

Fries under a heat lamp too long, server argued that our fries were correct even though we knew they weren't, then forgot to bring out the mayo we requested after agreeing to just eat the wrong ones. Seriously, the service here is what's truly lacking. The wait staff is, on a word - indifferent. We've been here many times and it's pretty consistent. You don't feel welcome here, and your presence feels like a burden on their time. ...which is odd, because the service industry is pretty reliant on tips. If you MUST eat here, get a slot dog. Went there for dinner and drinks, and loved both their food and cocktails! The service seemed little slow, but the waitresses were friendly and nice. It was little crowded for a Monday night, but we got a nice view table by the window. I would definitely recommend to check this place out. read more

Do not dine here. You have been warned. The value you get for your $ is below poor. If you have read my other reviews, you know that I do not exaggerate anything. I don't like to comment about service as that can vary per your choice. I've never had such awful service. It looks like others have as well. This establishment needs a major overhaul. But I will never know if it gets that because they burned my bridge. Dry burgers and sandwiches, slow refills on non alcoholic drinks. The fish and chips were hot and seemed fresh, but the chicken in the salad was very chewy...almost like it had been heated in the microwave, had been heated several times, or really overcooked. I've eaten here several times. Each time, service has been below questionable (for instance, server didn't ask whether I wanted a bowl of soup, or a cup, and just brought out a cup). Slow service, bad food. We Ordered the chili con queso Nachos for an appetizer. What a joke! There were literally 12 tortilla chips on a plate with about a tablespoon of chili on top. We sent it back. I really wish I would have taken a picture. The server stated that many customers have complained about the small size of the nachos. Horrible experience both times. I went to the Meadows Bar and Grill approximately one year ago and the server spilled a Bloody Mary all over me, I was covered in Bloody Mary from head to toe, imagine the sight of having to walk through the entire casino to get to the front door, apologies were offered but no compensation. Fast forward to last night, I decided to give them one more shot and go there for St. Patrick's Day. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, we were seated promptly and drinks arrived shortly thereafter. From there the service went down hill, it appeared that there was only 2 servers working and ours elected to focus on the large group of men ordering drinks and appetizers. We had ordered our food at least 15 minutes before the men at the other table, yet they received their food well in advance of our meal delivery. The table directly next to us waited for over 30 minutes to receive their bill and then had to wait at least another 20 minutes when they told the server she had given them the incorrect bill. Based on this I decided to ask for the bill when our food was brought out. Now on to the food, ordered the special of Corned Beef and Cabbage, horrible does not begin to describe it. I asked what the price of soda was, because it is free in the casino, his response "it's not free, your going to cheap I see". Like for real?!? It was just a question! He also passed judgment for my boyfriend and I sharing an entree and appetizer. We share because my boyfriend cannot eat very much because he had at loss surgery. I love this place. To start, the ambiance and decor are great. Vaulted wood ceilings, big stone fireplace, plants, and a classy golf club feel. It has beautiful views of the golf course during the day and is a cozy spot on a cold night. The food is delicious and the menu is classic. All the burgers are great, the nachos are superb, and the french fries are perfectly crispy and crunchy. I have never had a meal here I didn't like. The staff are friendly and helpful. We bring our 1 year old here often and they always welcome a baby with open arms and go above and beyond - hands down my favorite place to eat in Prior Lake. read more
