I live super close to Brindleys, and I love supporting local! I have a professional model solid…read moresilver flute that I wanted to get overhauled, as it hasn't been played in several years. Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

Bruce suggested that he could simply replace the "nut" which elevates the strings above the frets. Well, bingo he was right. Saved me some serious $. He and his team were a huge help when I was buying an additional guitar and amp setup. Brindleys is an honest to goodness music store! Thanks guys. - Mickey Keyes

I'm always able to step inside and rattle off some beats on a drum set and since they are all musicians, no one ever cares. So as a drummer, Its always been the drum section for me but today I came in because I want to start learning something new. Injuries to parts of my arms make it difficult to play guitar but since I've always loved piano, I decided that's what I would try. I first looked on line and found some used equipement but decided to stop in and see what Guitar Center had. Shayne was the first person I spoke to. He gave me a lot of great advice and really tried to educate me on the equipement I was looking at. He gave me all the pros and cons of each piece, he didn't try to over sell me, and he even told me how I COULD save some money finding something used on line or even on their web site. The thing I liked the most is how Shayne actually explained the pros and cons of buying used and gave me the perfect amount of information to make a very educated decision on what I ended up buying AFTER I was invited to take a day or two to do some research on my own before making any kind of purchase. I did buy new, and I did buy it from Guitar Center, and it was because of the service I received from Shayne during my two visits with him. The shop is one of my favorite places to shop but it was Shayne that captured the 5th star!

I had to take it back when I changed the strings putting everything back the same way only to have the buzzing come back. second problem was the volume on the pick up was very low so I took it back. I was told by the tech that he couldn't do anything with it and doubt if the company would send a replace part. the guitar was manufactured in France so I guess he just didn't want to be bothered. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent the part with detailed instructions how to remove the old one and replace i. I did it myself taking about 30 minutes. i own a few guitars amp and other equipment i purchased from Guitar Center but never again. I had a pleasant experience years ago when I had a pickup installed on my Martin Guitar but that was a totally different luther. Had the Luther I felt with the last time been like the first young man I would have kept my business at The Guitar Center.

My daughter absolutely loves class and it is a highlight of our week every week. It has been so great meeting other families with similar aged kiddos and enjoying the curated themes and lessons! The teachers are absolutely phenomenal with all the children and definitely bring you into the musicology family and love and celebrate your little one along side you. I have a very small "village" and am so grateful to have my musicology community supporting my parenthood journey! I've learned so much about children, music, and parenting in my weekly classes. With a medically complex child it has been hard finding places I feel safe bringing my daughter to. Musicology is one of the few places I feel completely confident bringing my kiddo. Their sick policy leaves no room for interpretation and we really appreciate the ease of scheduling and flexibility of makeup classes-- encouraging all the families to keep each other safe! Thanks for doing what you do! So excited to keep continuing on at Musicology until my daughter ages out.

I finally started feeling comfortable coming when they offered mask option classes. They also limit about 7-8 a parent w/kid. My daughter is quiet shy so I like that she can sit with me and the teachers are all so nice with her. Over the last few months she has definitely gotten more comfortable and enjoys going to class. They really do a great job making the environment fun for both parents and kids. They do incorporate a little of sign language and teach kids more than just music. Also, for a stay at home mom like me it's nice to meet other moms (sometimes dads) and their kiddos. Def recommend Musicology. I believe they have a one class trial too.
