Taking both kids in for their dental cleanings today. They clean them side by side, which is great. Before they started, I let both hygienists know we would not be using fluoride products. One hygienist looked at the other and said, "Then I'm not sure what the point of you being here today is." Excuse me... the point is to have my children's teeth professionally cleaned. My parenting decisions and the research I've done are not up for ridicule or debate. Whether you agree with my choices or not, professionalism should still come first. I just had the MOST AWFUL experience. This is the dentist that I went to when I was a child and now I've chosen to have my daughter go there. Not only have they had to reschedule FOUR TIMES due to an error ON THIER END, all the front desk staff and the manager I spoke to were rude and dismissive when I was explaining that I may not be able to get out of work for a forth time to go to a new appointment. I'm currently on the search for a new dentist and I would suggest people avoid this place. It no longer has the same loving and respectful place it was when I was young. read more

My 7 year old has been a patient for a few years now. Today, he needed to have two baby teeth removed to make room for the adult teeth that are coming in. My child received the same high quality care that we are accustomed to. He was comfortable the entire time and didn't even know that he had two teeth removed until I told him after the procedure. Dental care is excellent. Staff is courteous and prompt. Communication is great between physicians and parents. What bothers me past 4-5 years with bringing my children here are staff's nails. I directly talked to front office about it, but long fake nails are still allowed. The staff here used their fake long nails and tapped on a syringe that has sedation for my daughter to take. They are also touching all their equipments in the sterile/aseptic tray before placing gloves on. So gross! read more

I've brought both my kids here. My daughter who is two has been here twice and is very timid and scared, but they do a good job at allowing her to do things at her pace and interact with her with toys and prizes. Dr Scrosby is quick and efficient & the dental hygienist, especially Donna, are just wonderful. As far as COVID goes, they do great at providing hand sanitizer and they have these air filtration systems in every room. We love the chandler pediatric dental. They are extremely professional and patient with the kids. We plan on using them till our daughter is old enough to go to our dentist. ***The only thing I don't like is all the kids are in the same room getting their teeth cleaned. Now that I'm 22 years old, I can look back and remember that Dr. B, along with the dental assistants, always made me feel safe and happy while at the dentist! Dr Tucker & Selina we're so gentle with our 11 month old. Totally understanding of our questions and helped us prepare for our next few visits. Office staff is super kind and helpful. They have TVs in the rooms hanging from the ceiling to keep kids entertained, a fish tank and a fun bubble wall. Perfect for any age. What was so cute is they have a zero cavity wall that all the names go on each month. Just a fantastic office for really little ones. read more

I took my daughter in for a scheduled filling on two teeth and sealants on 4 teeth (only a recommendation by the dentist and it was covered under insurance). The sealants were done first, then the numbing shots for the 2 fillings...not even 10 minutes after the dentist started working on the fillings he got up and said he didn't feel comfortable doing the fillings while my daughter wasn't under? His helper packed up immediately and he said he wanted to reschedule us. We walked to the front (confused?) and was handed a bill for $130 for the "numbing shots" and an invoice for 2 SEPARATE $450 appts to complete the fillings. Are you kidding me? read more

The staff here are amazing at what they do. I have been going here since I was about 5 or 6 and I have never had a bad experience. They are very attentive with everyone which my mom and I are very pleased with. I've seen both Dr. Tucker and Dr. Scoresby and they're are both great! We've been coming to this practice for about three years now and have been happy every time. Both of my children have autism, my daughter is severe. The team goes out of their way to be understanding when it comes to her. She can sometimes get frightened when she doesn't understand what's going on. At one point, she ended up having to have some extensive dental work and they were fantastic through the whole process. I really just love this place and recommend either dentist. Oh and billing is perfect. I know how important that can be. Never once had an issue and our insurance is always troublesome. Just a great place all around. read more

This is more of a "heads up" to current and future patients of the practice. Overall our past experience has been great. Staff is friendly, doctors are great with the kids and my son felt comfortable there. My issue I had this morning was that upon arrival I was told that since I didnt callback to confirm my appt that I made for my son 6 months ago that they put someone else in our place and they were "too busy" to squeeze me in. Mind you its the 2nd day of school and I pulled my son out of 1st grade for the appt. Now you might say its my fault for not confirming the appt but the way i see it is I made the appt and if they were going to cancel they should have told me they would be cancelling if I did not call them back. I assumed the call was just a courtesy reminder ( as many doctors offices do) and at no time in the messages did they say that it would be cancelled if I did not call to confirm. I even received a text message 2 hrs prior to the appt that stated " your dental appointment is today at 8:30am. We are looking forward to seeing you soon" I know these text messages are automatically generated but it would have been nice to at least get one that said my appt was cancelled due to failure to confirm. My point is this, we had an appt that I scheduled and was agreed upon by myself and the office staff. We showed up for our scheduled appointment day and time and was told that they put someone else in our place because we did not callback to confirm the appt. My questions is what is the purpose of the appt? For any of you that know Sienfeld, I felt like Jerry when he had the car reservation and showed up and they tell him they have his reservation but they dont have a car for him. So to summarize make sure you call the office back to confirm your appointment with them or else you wont have one when you show up for it. read more

This place is fantastic!! My son was having some teething/ gum issues, so bad he had to be sent home from daycare. I was able to make an appointment in the same day. The receptionist was super helpful, even making calls herself to double check some insurance things. Everyone was very welcoming when we got there. We got in and out very quickly. The dentist (I can't remember for sure but I think it was dr tucker?) was very friendly and patient going through all my concerns. We even got a follow up card mailed to us with some stickers and well wishes for my son!! (Who at 1 year old had no clue what was going on but definitely meant a lot to mom :-) would definitely recommend this team!! read more

My kids aren't afraid to go to the dentist even when it involves more than a cleaning. Dr. and staff are absolutely wonderful. They get you in quick if you have any problems. My daughter had been going to Chandler Pediatrics Dental for a couple of years. This last visit our insurance changed and when my daughter arrived to appointment, no one had bothers to verify insurance. I had spoken to someone a week before appointment to give them new insurance information. Rene assured me they had verified our benefits and we were covered for visit. A month later I received a bill, we were responsible for FULL AMOUNT BILLED even after insurance paid dentist almost $200 for cleaning procedure. Don't take their word when they advise all insurance matters are verified, contact your insurance, verify how much you will need to pay before you are seen by doctor. We will not go back to this dentist, they were not honest with us, they should of canceled appointment like I suggested on phone until they could talk to insurance. read more

I was nervous to bring my son (4 y.o) to the dentist because he hadn't been since he was 2, but everyone was so nice and patient with him (front desk, hygienist, and dentist). They took their time with him and didn't do anything he wasn't comfortable with. It was a very good experience and I'm glad we found this office! Dr. Scoresby and his staff are all very wonderful! They make going to the Dentist fun for my kids. My daughter is not a fan of having work done and I dread it when she gets a cavity. Well, use to. Now that we found Chandler Pediatric Dental we are excited to get treatment done! It all begins with the assistants who make my daughter feel at ease in the chair before Dr. Scoresby comes in. The one with the curly long hair. I do not know her name although she is very sweet and informative. We drive quite a ways just to come see Dr. Scoresby. He is very gentle with his hands and my kids say they don't feel a thing. He is really concerned about their dental health and I love how he is patient and understanding to my kids even when he is busy. He listens to what they are saying. Overall a really nice guy with a great honest heart. I will continue to recommend this office to my friends and family. read more

I scheduled a consultation to have my son scheduled for dental work that he needed done. I liked the office and the dentist. My son's next appointment was a month out and I was calling to get some information. I had questions about payment and advised I may not be able to pay the full amount on the day of service. The staff member I spoke with Renee, told me the best thing to do was reschedule. I agreed. The appointment was set out for a few weeks. She gave me incorrect information about my insurance coverage and left me with more questions than answers. I asked to speak with the dentist directly, she stated she would have the dentist call me. I work normal business hours and I am not able to answer my phone at work. So I wasn't able to answer when the dentist called me. I hadn't sent in my son's physical which was needed for the procedure, so I was calling to get the email address to send it in, this was 4 days before the procedure was to take place. At that time Renee advised me she had canceled my appointment and given it to someone else. I was very upset at this point. Renee literally argued with me for about 5 minutes and was VERY unprofessional. I had questions that were never answered about my insurance that, Renee stated she hadn't received a response from my insurance yet. She spoke over me and was saying rude things to me that should never be said to a paying customer. I asked to speak with someone else in the office more than 20 times. She was refusing to let me speak with anyone else and questioning why I wanted to speak with someone else. Obviously, I was calling to get my son's appointment figured out not be attached because I hadn't sent the physical in yet. Finally she put me on the phone with Meredith. She let me know that my appointment would not be set without receiving my child's physical. A week later, I sent my son's paperwork in and called to make an appointment. I asked to speak with Meredith to avoid speaking to Renee and avoid any further confrontation. Meredith informed me that the dentist mailed a letter to me that was basically refusing service to me. Stating that his staff members need to be respected so I should seek care elsewhere. It is disgusting that the dentist is protecting his staff and how they treat his customers instead of providing customer service. I have never dealt with such horrible service from an entire office. I am amazed at how I was treated here and will definitely take my service to an office that cares about their customers. It is very clear that this establishment doesn't! read more
