I had a very bad fall and can hardly walk. Sadly I had another emergency earlier this year with one of my kids. I had no idea calling to reschedule would end up in the assistant telling me we would no longer be allowed to go there anymore . My kids are going to be so sad. We have been going to A to Z for 6 years. I have 6 children and every single one LOVES this dentist. They are so kind, so great with kids, and so easy to work with. In fact, I went into labor the day of checkups for all my children and they worked with us to make it possible for our nanny to that the kids so they wouldn't miss the appointment. Today my little guy had some tooth pain and they got us in within 2 hours. I'm very thankful for A to Z Pediatric Dentistry. read more

These dentists are amazing! VERY kid friendly and outgoing, they treat your children like their own. I have taken my 6 kids to them for years, since they were toddlers to 18! Even referred them to family and friends who now use go to them. However we have had to make the hard choice not to use them any longer for my 3 younger children, as the staff is not very friendly. This breaks my heart because the dentists themselves are outstanding. But this has happened on more then one occasion and with more then one staff member up front. My kids have been going here for the past few years & even after we moved back to Chandler recently, we still take the extra 30 minute drive to come here. The atmosphere is perfect for kids, when you enter there is always a movie playing, video games & other little activities to keep the little ones busy while you wait (which is usually no more than 10-15 minutes.) The dental assistants & Dr.'s have always been very friendly and good with the kids. I really wanted to leave this review because my daughter recently needed a cap for her front cavity and our first shot at the procedure did not work, she just couldn't fall asleep, so we had to get her approved to be put to sleep with an anesthesiologist which did take a couple weeks and when the office first called they said they were a little over a month out for the next appointment & we would have to come in around noon for the procedure which was not ideal because she is 3 and has to fast so she would have to go all morning without food or drinks and that was going to make this much more difficult. The lady who was scheduling us told me she would put us on the wait list and try to move us up as soon as she could and for the earliest appt. I got a call no more than a week later letting me know she got us in for an earlier appt & first thing in the morning which was PERFECT!! I can't remember her name, but she was awesome & made this much easier not only for me but my daughter as well. I love when you have someone who enjoys their job and goes above & beyond for you =) read more

Dr. Jensen is the BEST! He's beyond kind, professional, smart and caring. He takes his time with each of his patients and their parents, setting everyone's mind at ease. I have children with autism and he does fabulous with both of them and my neuro-typical daughter. The office is gorgeous, clean and filled with kid friendly toys, books, tablets and movies and the staff are all kind and competent. I wouldn't take my precious babies anywhere else! read more

While Dr. Jensen and Clark may be compassionate, friendly, good with kids, etc. the office practices leave MUCH to be desired. The office procedures are insensitive to the needs of families and unrealistic in their expectations. I have been going to A to Z for six years. Today, I am looking for a new pediatric office. I had an 8:30 Tuesday morning appointment. On Monday at 4:45pm I arrived home to hear a message on my land line (they have my cell number, as well) that came in a 10:30 in the morning saying I had until 1:30 to confirm the appointment or it would be cancelled. I immediately called the office only to get an answering machine telling me they closed at 4:30. I left a message explaining the situation. On Tuesday morning I took my child to the scheduled 8:30 appointment; it was cancelled. So, if you are in a situation where you are not available for routine calls during the day, find another pediatric dentist! AND, what office gives you 3 hours to confirm an appointment. Poor, poor business practices. read more

The kids love it here. Video games to play, a movie is always on, toys to play with. It can get crowded so get here early. Staff is very patient in explaining the procedures to our kids, such as x-rays and cleanings. Doctors are friendly and thorough. We have been coming here for a year now and have no plans to take the kids anywhere else. read more

We've been going to Dr. Jensen for years! He's always been amazing. Today my son had to have a little oral surgery. I personally have never had to have any major dental work and neither has my son, so as a parent I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Jensen took the time to answer my thousands of questions and was super informative on everything. He was great with my son and made him feel at ease with everything. We were one of the last patients of the day and I had a question shortly after they closed so I called the after hours line and got an immediate response from Dr. Jensen himself. I highly recommend this place to anyone with children. Their office is always extremely clean and the office staff has been very helpful as well. read more

My 11 year old daughter just had her first experience having 2 teeth extracted. She was very nervous and anxious about the experience. I could not have asked for a more soothing staff and dentist. She ended up having the best experience ever. They made her feel relaxed, explained everything to her, and were so caring. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Jensen. read more

Not very accommodating. We had mixed up appointment times for oral sedation dentistry and they refused to see my son after he had nothing to eat for from 10pm to 10am Yes we mixed up times but having a 10yr old fast is difficult in itself. Maybe I would suggest finding a dentist that is more flexible, especially with kids. I was able to reschedule his appointment for next week, another day fasting and missed school. read more

I took my 18 month old twin girls to get their first cleaning at AtoZ pediatric Dentistry. The experience was fabulous. The girls were not about to lay on the table, so the Doctor had me pull my chair directly up to his so that I could hold my baby and lean her into his lap while he cleaned her teeth. This was so reassuring and also taught me a much easier way to brush their teeth at home. I was concerned about a yellow film on their teeth. The Doctor said it was from their multi-vitamin/mineral supplement that I was giving them and to just make sure to brush after they take it. I was so relieved it wasn't a permanent stain and thankful for his knowledge. I am looking forward to our next experience!! read more

Cute place. Don't like that the chairs are all out in the open. No privacy and everyone can hear and see everything. The dentists are nice and good with the kiddos. However, they spend about 5 whole minutes with each kid. There scheduling is a mess. They preschedule your next apt then forget to tell you then count you as a no show. Also, the girls at the front desk should refrain from talking about other patients until all patients have left. read more

First off, I'm thankful they were able to get my son in immediately for his tooth pain. However, as an ECE and a parent, I noticed right off that the waiting room toys (especially the blocks) hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. And second, the main reason for giving one star... My nine year-old son was having a tooth extracted. While the staff is nice, when it comes to listening to their patients they're sorely lacking. The dentist didn't numb the area well enough, so when he went to extract the tooth, my son let out a horrific painful scream. When my son declared that it was painful, the dentist dismissed his pain and said, "No, it doesn't hurt." What!?! He was pulling a rooted tooth from an ineffectively numbed mouth and telling the patient, my son, that he's overreacting and it doesn't actually hurt!? He ended up finally numbing my son's mouth more, so the extraction could be finished. But by then, the damage had already been done. I know I'm emotional as I write this, because as a parent, helplessly watching your child in pain is very heart wrenching. To end the visit, we found our way out without being able to speak to a soul. The office had been cleared and every member of staff was MIA for a lunch break. I do not recommend this office for your precious children. read more

If I was to base this review on the doctors it would be 5 stars by far! But the front office dropped the ball and sad to say we will be moving on. My husband took our boys today for their check ups. He was told it would be 190.00 when they were checking out. He said for what? They said the boys were a no show. So he called me and I said no I called and canceled those appointments because the kids were sick. They asked who I talked to and went back and forth and finally said we will waive it. But then they say that we owe 109.00 from 09/11/2018 for X-rays that weren't covered. I asked why would you do xrays on them that weren't covered? And why am I just hearing about this? Also my kids have never had cavities and the dr said he had no concerns. Coming from someone who worked in the dental field for over 10 years this is not okay!!! I never got a bill from you stating this or an EOB from the insurance saying this. And even if I did why would you do anything that is not covered. You say hey we need to do this and your insurance may not cover. Just crazy that over a year later you say we owe this fee I knew nothing about, after you say we were no shows to appointments. This is an awful way to run a business!! Extremely disappointed!!! read more
