I got an email confirming a 4 PM appointment, and Emily, the same person from the phone and chat, told me to bring Manny a GSD in. At 4 PM, they took us to a room where we spoke to a tech, who said someone would be with us shortly. She came back to look at him and asked if we wanted an X-ray for $175 (still no vet yet) or a physical from the doctor. We chose the physical, and she said the doctor would be in soon. By 5:21, she returned to apologize, saying there's only one doctor for 10 rooms. Can you say greed? We turned around and left. The waiting room still had 10 people trying to get into one of those rooms. I don't care how many doctors or rooms you have; that's your problem. If they told me to be there at 1 AM, I'd be on time. I'd heard good things in the past, which is why I chose this place, but now that they're in the big new building, their service is going downhill. Word will get around, just like in other reviews I've seen. Terrible service!

Next morning comes and no call, I call at 950 for an update. Kitten is ok, eating and drinking and I will get a call later about the next step for his face. At 1120 im in town, swing by to pay for the overnight charge they said would be due today. Theres some confusion, i dont have to pay yet and shes quoting me a higher amount than they said the highest total would be last night. I talk to a technician and she shows me my kitten. They had gone ahead and removed the broken bone and she said the dr had just got in and would call me about what to do next. And I leave. I call again at 3 because no word from anyone. The receptionist says the dr just got in and she'll call me later. My boyfriend then calls them for answers. And about 30 minutes after he called them, they tell me to come pick up the kitten. I get up there, they charge me what they said they would last night, a technician visits me about the meds they gave him and explains they had tacked down part his nose skin and to bring him in for an update visit. After that long of having him, they send him home like this. I showed my mom and she told me he should be taken to the vet. Yes he should, just not this one.

This morning she wasn't doing so good so I called around, the emergency hospital was the only place available to see her in a timely manner. They told me their fee was around 300 and something dollars just to get an examination on her once I brought her to them, The technician said that she would need a lot more care than what it seems to be like regarding maybe a blood transfusion and that her temperature was very low so the starting cost would be around $1200 and then it would just go up from there depending on what the doctor says. Since I wasn't going to be able to keep her, I wasn't necessarily ready to pay a large amount of money to get her the treatment she was needing since I just found her and wasn't able to keep her. I wish animal hospitals had the desire to help animals in distress instead of requesting large amounts of money and doing treatment asap. I understand if it is dire and the animal might need a lot of medical treatment which could raise the price up but I feel like they were extremely high and there was nothing I was able to do. I asked her opinion on what she thought and she said if I couldn't pay to help get her the treatenant as it was my responsibility to pay since I brought her in the other option would be to just euthanize her. It just kind of made me sad as the whole point of me getting her treatment was to get her another chance at life. so I had to do the hard thing and say I didn't want any treatment and I was going to call around to another vets to see if there was anything they could do differently unfortunately she did pass within the next 20 minutes after leaving the animal hospital. Please be careful where you take your animals seeking treatment, even if it might be a stray who is in need. I hope there are some clinics out there who have the desire to help animals who they could are in distress without asking for a large amount of money up front! This will be my last time coming here. I've been here before with my first cat that I had and I paid over $1200 for them to tell me she had a cold and just needed some rest. I don't believe I ever even got any medication for her so this will definitely be the last time I will be going here.

Dr Barlow gave him IV antibiotics and suggested I leave him hospitalized. On Saturday he was doing a bit better and Dr Barlow suggested he stay the weekend to continue treatment. But not in a cage at the office, but she TOOK HIM HOME so he would be more comfortable in a home environment and with her three dogs. Wow! That's dedication and compassion. I'm so glad they were open and available for my fur baby when I needed help.
