Watermelon and basil Kombucha on draft

Really friendly and attentive staff and a great place for lunch. They have a good quantity of grab and go items from salads, sandwiches, pastries, and etc. They have a really refreshing watermelon and basil kombucha on DRAFT! Btw the scenery is really nice. Definitely have to come back here on a lunch break again

Hazy IPA and a Tito's and pineapple!

Gorgeous day on the Bay so hubby and I decided to try a new local Happy Hour spot. Wow! This place is kind of a hidden gem. What a nice surprise! We were welcomed by Pasqual with a menu and a couple of drinks. We ordered some wings and made our way outside to the patio. What a beautiful view and the patio had plenty of seating! Perfect spot to chill after a long day at work. They also had a pool table and game area inside. The service was excellent our server Yolanda was very attentive and kind. We're planning to head back soon with friends to enjoy some sunshine and fun. Oh, almost forgot, they have a beautiful pizza oven too!

Someone said, I write too damn much and no one wants to read ALLL of that. I don't know what to tell you? Keep on scrollin' cuz that's the Virgo in me...deets AND lots of it but I'll keep it short this time... If you're looking for a chill place to have drinks with a waterfront view that's only a 10 minute drive away from the city....Chandlery at the Shore! Plus, there's hella free parking (and EV chargers) because it's located in a business park. CHEERS! OTHER INFO: * Chandley by the Shore is sister restaurant to Foundry & Luxe (similar concept and layout) so it's a great place for a group gathering - bar, lounge, pool table, TVs, and outdoor activities (bocce ball and mini golf). * Limited soft opening hours: Breakfast & Lunch (salads+sandwiches) during the weekdays (closes at 2 pm) and Happy Hours on Thursdays (3pm - 6 pm). Currently, closed for dinner and on the weekends. * Counter service only; order at the bar and grab a number placard. * Limited bar menu for the soft opening; only one type of well for each liquor and the only vodka they had was harsh. Ooof. Hope they consider adding top-shelf liquors. * Friendly and fast service. Our bartender, Jerin was great! * Despite the mandate being lifted, all staff wore masks. * Indoor and outdoor seating available. Enclosed waterfront patio is dog-friendly. * Young bio-tech crowd and top 40s playing.

Great spot for drinks with co-workers or friends. Super large space indoors with a pool table. Patio right on the water! On a clear day, you can see the ferry going from East Bay to SF. I'm surprised there aren't more people here. Friendly bartender, quick service. They have rotating happy hour menus and bites.

My new faaaave place! Omg the best food, the nicest drinks! Everything was A1. I had the aguachile, and the fajitas

Lots of travelers coming and going. Parking can be limited in the evening. Service is great and the wait is not too long for pick up. I've eaten twice at the restaurant (once with hubby) and the rest were room service/pick up. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a bar to sit at with the TV on. Waiters were attentive and some were nice. They seem a little overwhelmed. Bistro chicken sandwich- My mother and I loved this sandwich, it has a balsamic glaze and parmesan aioli that makes that chicken cluck. The steak sandwich- My favorite sandwich here! Hubby also loved it. The crispy onions gives that nice texture to the grilled flank and the horseradish just takes it over the top on a ciabatta roll. *Must try Grilled chicken caesar salad- Hubby's favorite, the grilled chicken with plenty of greens and Parmesan cheese. He said it is very good. Kale & quinoa salad- This salad had equal portions of salad and quinoa (tender) with tiny bites of tart, savory, and sweet. California fish tacos- My mother and I LOVED the fish tacos. I have to say it's probably the best I had because the fish was grilled, not fried. The avocado and chipotle aioli is on point. Crispy chicken wings- Best appetizer here!! We tried the Korean chili sauce wings and they were big, CRISPY, wings. Hubby loved eating these wings. I will have to try the spicy buffalo sauce wings next. Linguine prawns- Both hubby and I agree that the lemon thyme sauce makes this dish amazingly good. It came with only 3 prawns and they were huge. I feel like 6 prawns would be equal to the amount of pasta there is to eat.

This place has a vibe that you need to experience to understand. It has so much history but also has a new feel. Filipino food is on point and drinks are the right amount of strong. The adobo is so tender and flavorful- I could have eaten the whole thing on my own. I wish i lived closer but I will not let distance be a barrier. This is a great spot to enjoy sports, good food, nice vibes, and friendly peeps!

It looks random at first but at the same time, very unique. It reminds me of a dive bar for truck drivers from the outside and heading inside, it also gives you that feeling. It's a pretty small restaurant sports bar with majority of the seating being outside. I ordered their Sisig Manila Style, Sizzling Pork Adobo with rice, Lumpia Sampler, Calamari, and Ube Cheesecake for dessert. The Sisig is our favorite pick because it's fatty with that nice sizzling taste and texture. It's bold with a good flavor and pairs nicely with the runny egg. This dish is a must. The adobo was just ok. Honestly, it wasn't my type of adobo and was too watery, thin, and slightly bland. It just tasted like watered down soy sauce and light vinegar over shredded pork meat. The calamari was a big portion and went great with the garlic aioli sauce. I also didn't like the lumpia's. The lumpia was soggy and way too bland with little filling. It didn't have that authentic taste to them which was a bummer. I'd avoid this sampler. We thoroughly enjoyed their Ube cheesecake though! It was sweet, tasty, and had a nice cream cheese texture. The makapuno coconut shreds paired great with the cheesecake and made it so unique. We'd definitely order this again. Overall, I thought it was just ok. I listened to the hype and yes, it was too much. For those that aren't Filipinos or didn't grow up having authentic homemade Filipino food, you could tell the difference. It's almost as if the dishes are "Americanized" and lacks the real ingredients in the dishes. Truthfully, I wouldn't come back but hey, there's a lane for everyone and I know this place is beloved by many. That's important.

By good food, I meant they are great! The fries are probably better than just about anywhere I've had. I've only tried the plain and the garlic. I think I prefer the plain more. Though the garlic flavor infused into the fries, but the rough chopped raw garlic is a bit too sharp for my taste. I would probably try the truffle fries at least once though. My wife ordered our lunch and my daughter and I ordered our beers. Sadly, there was only ONE in house option?!?! And only 3 guest options. How is that possible?!?! This is a brewery right?!?! And the one in house option was NOT something I typically drink, but you know I had to try and support. The food was good! We got two burgers with garlic fries (75¢ up charge), not sure if the garlic was raw though?!?! Mediterranean Cobb Salad with added Grilled Chicken $18 - My wife said it was just okay. Mango Habanero Wings - Dry, but with decent flavors. In summary, come for the burgers and fries unless they can do a better job brewing! Ambiance - Brewery warehouse setting. Semi open kitchen. Small parking lot, but I was lucky and got a very good space. Kid and dog friendly. Clean bathrooms with outside sinks, thank you. Pinball machine row, see pictures. Plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic style seating. Open 6 days a week from noon until 8pm or 9pm. Closed Mondays. Events, see their website. Service - Counter service. Water and utensils self service. I even had to go back up to get "to-go" containers. The first guy was not very welcoming. The second guy with the longer hair was slightly better. Then the second long hair guy started bussing and cleaning tables was more personable. Price - $118; expensive for what we got. Next time I will just come for the food. A more generous tip than earned or deserved. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2012 and at this location since 2017. Good luck.

Let's start with the service. Our server was incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in. We were handed menus and then asked if we preferred still or sparkling waters - we opted for the latter. Next, he politely made some recommendations to the more popular items on the lunch menu. We went with his suggestions and he did not disappoint! For two people, we shared the following two items: * MEZZE PLATTER - hummus, babaghanouge, falafel, tabbouleh, and pita ($19) * BEET SALAD - roasted heirloom beets, carrots, goat cheese, honey thyme vinaigrette ($18) For our entrees, we had the following: * BEEF SHAWARMA WRAP - lettuce, sumac onion, pickles, tahini sauce, mixed greens ($19) * ROASTED SALMON - pacific salmon, turmeric rice, grilled broccolini ($29) Food was absolutely incredible. Fresh ingredients, simple preparation, Mediterranean fusion, and assembled thoughtfully without compromising nutrition. I am a fan. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an inviting style for large groups, intimate fireside chats, or bar seating. They even have a pretty neat happy hour menu that I hope to check out one day. All in all, this is a top fav in South City. Looking forward to a future dining experience here!
