So glad that we decided to eat here instead of venturing out! My Daughter and I shared the wagyu burger and fries and both were delicious!

The biggest highlight of this lounge is definitely the view. Unfortunately, it was already dark when I checked into the hotel, so I wasn't able to enjoy it until the next morning, it was beautiful there. I'd definitely recommend visiting during the day or around sunset if possible. We grabbed seats at the bar and stayed until closing. The lounge was pretty busy and seemed a little understaffed, but the staff worked hard and were friendly throughout the night. The bartender was especially sweet and quickly figured out what kind of cocktails I liked after a couple of drinks. As for the drinks, their specialty cocktails were just okay for me. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. We ended up ordering classic cocktails instead. Overall, the views and service were the highlights of my visit. While I probably wouldn't come back specifically for the food or drinks, I did appreciate the staff's effort and hospitality. read more

Loved the selection of cocktails and food at this small but mighty bar. It is located in the inside of the Marriott hotel with a beautiful view of the planes from SFO across the water. It is a great place to do some work or even catch up with a friend. The one downside is that parking is expensiveeee. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and paid $30. After all, it IS located at a hotel so wasn't that surprised but still taken aback. Would love to stop by again for a quick drink if I'm ever back in the area. read more

Beautiful views, great service, so so food. The big reason why we ate here was because it was an easy way to let our kiddo look at planes for a few hours in a kid friendly environment. Floor to ceiling windows here made it super easy to look at planes landing and taking off from SFO at just about any seat in the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and helpful, we had the lentil soup, fried tofu, and the asian chicken salad. The soup was good, but the tofu was thickly battered with a batter that was better suited for fish and chips than tofu, and the salad was over dressed. Though the food was a little disappointing, the great beer selection and cheaper alcohol pricing starting at 2pm made up for it. Come here for the drinks and the views, the food is just ok. Chicken pesto sandwich was $25 and chicken was way underdone. Had to leave it on the plate and eat the sandwich like a pesto grilled cheese. Service was friendly, although no questioning why there was a pile of chicken left on the plate when the server came to clear the plates. Beautiful view of the bay with floor to ceiling windows. Nice location and view of the water along with the airplanes coming in and out. The bar area is really big and very open with glass ceilings, lots of windows, and multiple TVs. I didn't try any food this time around but I will say the person next to me had a steak rice bowl that looked really good. It must have been because I was looking one way for a little while and when I looked back, the bowl was empty! I had a great time and was served by the bartender JP. He did an excellent job, was super hospitable and friendly, and made some of the best strawberry infused lemon drops. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. read more

This restaurant is located inside the Marriott at the airport and we only had dinner here because of the convenience of not leaving the hotel since we had a very early flight to catch and we wanted to go to bed early. I would say the food wasn't memorable. I had the burger (the waiter told me it was a great choice) and my husband had a sandwich, but he cannot even remember which one. Service was pretty good and attentive. The view from this place is great! But again, nothing to write home about. I recommend it if you are in the same situation. This spot has been a recent favorite for one simple reason; we can view planes taking off and landing at SFO. A thing that kiddos will enjoy, plus some quick bites, a drink or a dessert would never hurt! This place has an awesome bar with a large selection of drinks. For food they have pizzas, Mezze, salads, entrees, sides and dessert. However, they DO NOT make most things from scratch. The wood fired pizza is actually the one from the frozen aisle at the store. And so is most of the other stuff. It is insane they charge $20~$25 for these frozen pizzas! Last couple times we got the fries, chips and guac, their chocolate cake that I no longer see on the menu when I last went and the triple mousse trio. The food is okay but the desserts are actually amazing. They also serve a limited selection of Humphry Slocomb's ice creams. Always great to find them on any menu! We stay here often and this was our first time eating downstairs and were Extremely surprised by the food! I got the halibut and my husband got the chicken pesto handheld. The halibut was AMAZING and the chicken pesto was the best we've ever had! The bread was so soft and delicious. Our waitress and their staff were very nice and friendly. The service wasn't bad for a large dining room area and just a couple servers. The bolognese was a bad choice. The noodles were waaaaaaaay overdone. So much so that they were broken into soggy little pieces. The sauce was very bland and there wasn't enough salt in the world that could help it. I was told the chicken quesadilla was good, although I didn't try it. The Marriott burger was said to be the best thing on the menu, but I didn't find it to be anything special. They give you a very small amount of condiments in a very small saucer. The fries were good. I asked if the kettle chips are made there, and the waitress said no, so I skipped on those. It's a good place to kick back and watch the planes at SFO arrive and depart. Cocktails are standard, nothing spectacular. We had drinks, appetizer, and two entrees- average cost of drink and food- $20. You are within close proximity of the airport so you are paying for convenience and location. Service is decent. It is a nice place to retreat to if you are staying across the street at the Hampton Inn as there is no food service in the evening there. read more

I picked up the salmon with jasmine rice and vegetables from over here because I was staying at the hotel and there aren't too many other options in the area. I have to say the food was kind of mediocre. The salmon was a little overcooked but seasoned fine. The veggies were good. The rice, however, was dry, clumped together and borderline inedible. I had to wait about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad. Maybe some of their other stuff is a bit better, but I probably would order delivery next time I stay at this hotel instead. read more

We ate here because we were staying at the hotel. I loved the high ceiling, large windows and the great view out to the runway to watch planes land and take off. We both had the "Give Back" burger (a portion of the proceeds goes to CMN) and thought they were very good. They were a little overdone for medium well but had good flavor and weren't dried out. I'm a frequent guest at this hotel which is otherwise great but this restaurant/lounge is seriously lacking. First warning sign is that they don't publish their menu. Like anywhere, not even on the Marriott site. Weird. Especially weird because the food menu has not changed in the past year. Second issue, they close way too early. They indicate they close at 10:30 but on a busy Monday night I tried to put in a food order at just before 10 and was told that they don't take food orders after 9:50. Guys - it's a hotel, the restaurant needs to cater to people from all time zones. There are NO room service options either so if you're hungry and you're at this hotel you better fire up Uber Eats. Third issue - wait staff are nonexistent. Eat at the bar or you won't get served. Bartenders are friendly but there are two managing 50 people. COVID is over, it can't possibly be this hard to hire staff, especially when you want $14 for a beer. read more

Stayed at the Mariott on a recent work trip. The Lounge is on the main level. Ate here two nights. It was ok. Not terrible for a hotel lobby restaurant. There are plenty of tvs so you can watch the game, and drinks were solid. The food selection is pretty diverse but nothing amazing. If I had to eat here again I think I'd order a standard burger or quesadilla or something pretty plain. I had some sort of Asian salmon one night and a pasta dish the other. Neither were all that special. Good place to grab a bite if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. But if you don't mind leaving, downtown Burlingame isn't too far away. read more

Just had a wonderful lunch at this fine cafe. Small menu, which is actually a plus for us. We ordered the hamburger, well done with fries, and a Caesar salad. The burger was done exactly as we had ordered, and the salad was delicious. The host this afternoon was Sheri, and she couldn't have been more attentive and pleasant if she had tried. She was always making sure that everything was ok. Well, it was more than ok. The server was attentive and always around if we needed anything. Good food, good service, great ambiance. Hits all three marks, not quite five stars, but definitely worth it.

This lobby lounge offers a surprisingly intimate atmosphere in the evening, with low lighting levels that make it easy to watch the flight traffic in and out of SFO. In fact, the lobby area is a much better choice for dinner than the adjacent restaurant, which is lit up like a coffee shop. And the lounge offers all the same food, plus bar food. The chicken quesadilla was really more like a flauta, and it was fine. But the fish tacos were truly delicious: three larger servings of nicely seasoned fish topped with slaw and a piquant sauce. During the course of our meal we were tag-teamed by six different servers, yet there was perfect continuity, and they were all very friendly and helpful. If traveling through SFO I would definitely eat here again. read more

Service by the Marriott staff is always excellent and the room has a great view of airplane landing and such......Unfortunately the kitchen execution is a little weak. As a regular traveler who appreciates Marriott, I eat here often. A glass of good wine and a burger was $40....so you would think it's amazing. What I found is unripened tomatoes with stem ends on the burger and cold French fries. The wine, although very good, is described wrong on the menu which I think speaks to the attention to detail. Any one thing could be an oversight, but all three indicate mediocrity. Good enough for say a $20 meal, but far cry from the 40+ I spent. Mentioned all those to the manager and he was quick to get me some hot French fries and apologized for the tomatoes and menu accuracy. Still cost me $47 for mediocre preparations. Sad part is it really doesn't cost more to pay attention to the details so that consumers don't have post purchase regrets after dropping double what you should pay for the privilege of eating in a hotel. read more

I really wanted more to drink. I mentioned it to the server when she finally stopped to give us the bill. She took the one drink I ordered off the bill ??? I didn't need that stoke. I would have preferred more beer. So... Sit at the bar if you want more than one. Maybe service in the restaurant is better ??? There food is 5 stars still. But the service...... We got to the bar area and ordered a well vodka and gin drinks each $9. The area is a huge open space with plenty of bar space, lounge tables inside and outside.
